Over the last two weeks, The Sameer Project purchased 40 large waterproof tents and set up 20 so far for families in the most dire conditions. The pure joy you see on the face of the children is both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Celebrating a simple tent. Izzo story time… Went to a practice in 2021... with Tim Bograkos and his son, Ty… Halfway thru practice, Izzo asks Ty if he has ever seen his dad’s game winner vs Kentucky… Ty had not, so Iz sent a video guy to go to the vault to find the game. 20 minutes later, they stopped practice, and I was able to record an all-time father son moment as Ty and his dad relived that moment in front of the current team at that time while Izzo explained the classic “sixth option” story, Practice time is PRECIOUS so this was no small deed.
