172.5 MPH CLUB HEAD SPEED! 🤯 I’ve watched this... swing 20 times. Every time my back hurts. 😂 Sam Attanasio has set the driver club head speed record. He also co-holds the ball speed record of 245 MPH. My brain can’t even comprehend this lol. 245 ball speed is absolutely nuts. Is this speed useful for the course? No. But his cruising speed surely is 140mph easy. And players are learning from the long drive guys and getting faster and faster. 🎥: drsamattanasio on I Gshow more

POV: Murrieta Police Department pulls you over for speeding…... while your dashcam shows you driving the posted 50 MPH speed limit. Officer apparently says he paced me at 65. Ticket says ~60. Tesla telemetry records 55 MPH max. Dashcam shows me at the 50 MPH limit. So where did 60–65 MPH come from? I asked for a supervisor. The officer declined to notify his supervisor and declined my request for a supervisor. Get your popcorn, folks. 🍿show more

It's been just 11 games in affiliated ball, but... Josuar Gonzalez has all the makings of a future #1 overall prospect. 30 batted ball events: 109.1 mph EV90 50% hard-hit rate 93 mph avg. EV 111.3 mph max EV Those raw EVs out of an 18-year-old, 5'10", 180 lb frame are otherworldly. Combined with elite SS defense, 60-grade speed, and what has been above-average contact and plate discipline, it's hard to see a world where Gonzalez doesn't turn into a superstar. He'll need to more consistently elevate the baseball (22/30 GBs, 0.5° LA), turning the elite EVs into home run power or at least gap-to-gap, but that comes with time. Gonzalez won't turn 19 until October.show more

🚨 BREAKING: NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani just announced he... wants to REDUCE the speed limit to 20 mph on every single street in New York City. And it isn’t about “safety” as he’d fool voters into believing. It’s about flooding the streets with more speed traps, more tickets, and way more revenue sucked straight out of drivers’ wallets. And guess what? That cash grab is exactly how he plans to bankroll his socialist wishlist. In a city where traffic already crawls slower than a rush-hour snail, this feels less like progress and more like a deliberate squeeze: make driving miserable, and keep the fines rolling in. Freedom of movement? Not on his watch.show more

I want to hit 195mph ball speed by the... end of the year, and be over 190mph a lot when training. That should enable a 180-185mph on course range comfortable. Two technique elements I’ve been trying are a wider stance and a harder push from my left to right foot to get the swing started. Young-Hoo Kwon is big on a counter movement to get the swinging initiated and promote a good sequence. (Dr Kwon’s material is great, I am level 2 certified in his golf mechanics course 🤓). I’ll be doing some more speed training with driver and TheStack and working on my technique a bit. I’ve some ideas for structuring speed sessions I haven’t tried before that I will experiment with. Basically, using a variety of different drills that will challenge me in different ways, rather than just trying to figure out swinging faster by hitting a bunch of balls (which can be really effective). Might have had a couple extra mph ball speed with a proper ball here. I’ll save the “max effort” sessions for the sim. They aren’t as practical on the range.show more

People wanna know why I love the SHREDmill so... much?? This collection of videos is exactly the reason why I’m such a big advocate, as both a speed AND coaching/technical AMPLIFER⚡️🔌 All of these reps were done within the same session: Rep 1: 8.3 mph; excessive turnover, minimal horizontal push/thigh split Rep 2: after working on some positional wall drills, hit 7.7 mph; better positions/thigh split, but no push Rep 3: 9.3 mph; literally put it all together as far as the “good” from reps 1 and 2! Sprinting on the ground, incorporating max effort jumps/plyos, and still getting strong in the weight room are musts for maximizing speed development, but no other tool in the speed world allows you to both improve the qualities needed to be a damn good accelerator, while also giving you the feedback (both objectively via outputs, and the visual/auditory feedback from watching+coaching reps) needed to make improvements in short periods of time. Back-to-back U.S. Senior Open Champion. 🏆🏆 At 54, Padraig... Harrington isn’t just keeping up he’s still able to reach 120+ mph club speed and 180+ mph ball speed. Why? It’s an elite combination of speed-producing mechanics: ✅ A wide takeaway that creates space. ✅ Early pressure shift into the lead side while still completing the backswing. ✅ Massive downswing loading (lag), with one of the highest lead wrist angles we’ve measured on Tour. ✅ Incredible rotational force and ground reaction forces that allow him to release the club at exactly the right time. ✅ Elite grip strength that lets him maintain control while applying tremendous force into the handle. The result? A swing that stores energy through transition and releases it with incredible efficiency through impact. The best part? Padraig has been training with SuperSpeed for nearly a decade and he’s still finding ways to get faster. Speed isn’t something you build once, it’s something you continue to develop. Congratulations to Padraig Harrington on defending his U.S. Senior Open title. A masterclass in how great mechanics, smart training, and relentless work can keep producing elite speed year after year.show more
