Lane Kiffin on why real competitors don’t need the... spotlight to bring their best. "What is your standard? Is the standard the standard regardless of who the team is, what network is on, how many people show up in the crowd? Do you need that stuff to play really well? Or are you an elite competitor that none of that matters?" If your standard changes with the setting, it’s not a standard. It’s a mood. 📹: Ole Miss Rebelsshow more

If nobody wants to say it, I will. I... HATE this dance. I DETEST it. Why are you putting your hand in your vagina and bringing it to your nose like it smells? It’s so vulgar, and I genuinely don’t understand why women keep doing it. And what makes it even more uncomfortable is that it’s mostly women doing it, knowing exactly what the dance is insinuating. Anyone I see doing this dance automatically looks dirty to me. I can actually end a friendship over this.show more

Just another morning under the Heathrow flight path ✈️... This is what it looks like opening your front door on Myrtle Avenue, a Virgin Atlantic plane coming in right over the rooftops on its way into Heathrow. For people in Hounslow and Feltham, this is everyday life. You stop hearing it after a while, but to anyone visiting it’s mad just how low they come in. Could you live with this over your house, or would it drive you mad? 👀 🎥 Submitted by @myrtleave187 #ub1ub2 #london #hounslow #heathrow #felthamshow more

Alright, now that we know *what* an agent is,... how does it actually work? When you ask for help on a task, the agent plans a series of steps and executes them directly in the application on your behalf, using the tools it has access to. Say you are booking a local service or trying to organize your inbox (which typically takes multiple steps): the AI model first plans how to achieve the task using its existing knowledge and then interacts with your inbox to execute the task. The agent will continue until it is confident the task has been successfully completed.show more

A Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) would give the... government total surveillance and control over every single transaction in your life. They could see what you buy, freeze your money at will, and program exactly what you’re “allowed” to spend it on. This isn’t money. It’s financial tyranny. CBDC must be banned—forever.show more

Nowadays, every girl seems to be carrying these mug-like... bottles with a straw. Wherever you look, you see the same thing in almost every girl’s hand, whether she is walking on the road, going to the gym, going to the office, or shopping. They always have this mug-like bottle in one hand. A normal person drinks water only once or twice in an hour, so what is the need to keep holding a bottle all the time? It would be much easier for girls to keep a regular water bottle in their bag. Their hands wouldn’t hurt from carrying such a bottle around all day. Sometimes even such useless things become a trend and fashion.show more

iPhone Takes a Photo of You Every 5 Seconds... While you’re using your iPhone, it takes a photo of you every 5 seconds. More precisely - when you pick up or put down your iPhone, and also when it’s unlocked and sits motionless for a long time, the Face ID sensors take pictures every 5 seconds. You can see this through the infrared lens: it looks like the iPhone is taking a photo in the dark with a flash. Even if you cover the sensor, it will still keep trying to take a picture. In reality, of course, the iPhone isn’t taking photos. It scans your face to figure out whether you’re looking at it. In Face ID settings this mode is called Attention Awareness. You’re working on your iPhone, it’s charging, you get a call - and the iPhone “takes pictures” with the Face ID camera. As soon as it realizes you’re looking at it, the ringtone gets quieter. The same thing works with alarms and other notifications. This is not actually taking photos - it’s the TrueDepth infrared sensors scanning your face for the Attention Aware Features. How to turn this off on iPhone. You need to disable Attention Aware Features. Method 1 (main one): 1. Open Settings. 2. Tap Face ID & Passcode. 3. Enter your passcode. 4. Find Attention Aware Features and turn it off. Method 2 (via Accessibility): 1. Open Settings → Accessibility. 2. Tap Face ID & Attention. 3. Turn off Attention Aware Features. After that, your iPhone will stop automatically lowering the volume of calls, alarms, and notifications when you’re looking at the screen, and it won’t scan your face as actively for “attention.”show more

The undeniable truth white racists must swallow. This coastline,... from Cape Town to Durban to Port Elizabeth, is African coastline. The sand is African sand. The freedom to access it was paid for in blood, struggle, and resilience. Therefore, the instruction is simple, direct, and non-negotiable. Go to the beach. Go in numbers. Go to every beach that once had a visible or invisible “WHITES ONLY” sign. Go with your grill, your music, your family, and your right to be there. Occupy the scenery. Fill the frame. Redefine what “normal” looks like. Your joy is your power. Your presence is your claim. Your collective rest and leisure on land that was stolen is a revolutionary act. To every Black person. Your belonging is not up for debate. The sea is yours. The shore is yours. This is home. Reclaim it, one joyful day at a time. ✊🏾show more

Rejoice. Just following up with another quick W in... Codex You can now configure your reasoning level in plan mode separately directly from your config file. This is huge for Plus users who want to plan with high or xhigh reasoning levels, and then switch over to medium reasoning for implementation, without needing the slash command. This is a great way to save your usage limits, and now it happens automatically. Even if you're on Pro, this should make you very happy. Prior to this, it was switching you automatically to medium every time you planned, which was pretty annoying. Place this near the top of your config file: plan_mode_reasoning = "high" (or xhigh) 0.150.0 is a massive quality of life update. They're clearly listening. This time I am shouting out Charlie. 🙏show more

You buy a multimillion dollar home on a nice... quiet lake so you can live a nice peaceful life! Or so you thought. Turns out your neighbor is a good time guy with a loud speed boat who loves to rip it up on the water daily. This is not what you had in mind and is ruining the experience for you. Should you have done more research on the rules of the lake like “no wake” zones or spent more time seeing what kind of boats went by?! Or should you learn to live with it knowing you bought a lake front property and boats are allowed.show more

Grip a club in your lead hand. Observe how... twisting your forearm changes the angle of the face. This is largely what controls where your ball flies. Small differences in this angle lead to huge changes in shot direction. This precision is not being trained in the gym with “golf exercises”. Poor control of this face angle is what leads to a whole host of swing issues. More so than physical limitations. For example, it is far more likely you come over the top in an effort to stop the ball going right because your face is wide open and you’ve seen the ball go right the last 5000 times than it is you lack hip or shoulder mobility. It would be beneficial for me as a trainer to say otherwise, but I just don’t believe it to be true. Use the gym to work on your physical capabilities. Improve your mobility, strength, and power. These are the things you are losing as you age. Leave the swing mechanics for your practice and golf lessons. If you try to “fix your swing in the gym” you will likely do a poor job of training your swing and your body.show more
