Day 5 of my 30-day water fast. Yesterday (Day... 4) was the best day I’ve had so far. •Least cravings. •Least anger. •Least frustration. •Least crash-outs. It feels like I’m purging out every negative emotion and toxin that’s lived inside me. I’m having strong emotional responses—crying at things I wouldn’t normally cry at. Even just thinking about food hits different. Taco Bell. Sushi. Kebab. And during Ramadan, knowing my mom is cooking up a storm every night makes it even harder. The vape cravings? Completely gone. But I know that if I think about it too much, my body will remember, so I just keep my mind moving forward. Started at 200 lbs on Day 0 (night time weigh in with food intake and water intake, dropped to 192.2 on Day 1, and today, on Day 5, I’m at 181 lbs. Not trying to lose weight too fast—I need as much on me as possible to survive the next 25 days. But the best part of all this? Being live 24/7. Not just to prove I’m not eating, but because I’m building a real bond with the people watching. It’s just me, them, and Muffin in this cabin. Love you guys. Inshallah, I’ll succeed today and be back tomorrow for a Day 6 update. 💕💦show more

Is strength important for speed development? Here’s my take... ⤵️⤵️ For context — this is me cleaning 295 lbs at 167 lbs body weight and I credit my abilities in the weight room largely for helping my collegiate career flourish the way it did However… We can’t lift at the expense of speed training and development What that means is when we enter the weight room we can’t do so with blinders on acting as if the only thing in the world that matters is that weight training session or improving your 1RM YES… you need force to move your body through space YES… that force needs to be high relative to your body weight BUT… you must be a skilled mover to apply said force in the right positions, at the right times, with the right vectors for it to mean anything While important to holistic athletic development, we’ve got to stop acting like strength is the ultimate differentiator in speed Lot of “weak” athletes will blow your doors off in sprints Lot of “strong” athletes get folded in speed & power sports Go into the weight room with the idea that you’re complementing your speed and athletic development… not superseding it If your legs are so beaten and broken down from lifting heavy you can’t train for 2-3 days without excessive risk, you’re doing it all wrong. Just some perspective from someone who once pursued 1RMs to no end while my track times stagnated… and then was enlightened by world class coaches who lifted within the context of my sport to take me from a college tryout to D1 All American What’re your thoughts? Let’s discuss in the comments!show more

Carnivore Weight Loss - 15.2 pounds ( 18 days... ) What I did: - No calorie restriction, AT ALL - No meaningful exercise - ONLY Carnivore Diet Started 247.8 lbs --> Now 232.6 lbs Diet consists mainly of - Steak and butter - Scrambled eggs - Bacon - Butter by itself - Store bought beef jerky - Burger patties without a bun or ingredients - A cheese and sausage dish within the first week Food Quantity: Consuming 2000-2500 "Calories" on most days. I'm not a big fan of thinking in terms of "Calories", but it's the old way of thinking Avoided these things: - Almost no cheese - Almost no milk - Abstaining from junk food, carbs, dessert, etc Salt: - My weight absolutely did go up and down on the scale 2-4 pounds, depending on how much salt I was eating in the previous one or two days - When I eat a lot of salt, my body seems to hold 2-4 pounds of extra water Exercise: I have engaged in no meaningful exercise, outside of - Walking from point A to point B - One flight of stairs per day - A few reps on a small forearm machine ( Captains of Crush ) Slip-ups - Had popcorn one night in the first week - Tried methylene blue in the first week, hated it - Had a tiny bit of broccoli and onion in the first week - Eucharist at church (yes seriously🤣, I'm being thorough) - Cheese AND cracker plate ... unfortunately I ate a few crackers about a week ago Other than that, Pure Carnivore (as I understand it) No meaningful exercise. 15.2 pounds lost in 18 days. I'm sure I would have lost considerably more if I exercised ... but this has been diet-only Ask me anything you're curious about, I'm an open book!show more

Woah... the Tesla Semi is no joke. The Tesla... team really made it the best semi truck in the world. Just check out the main stats shared from Jay Leno's video. • It goes 500-miles for the long-range model, tested fully loaded and also has a a 325-mile standard-range option available - they both handle max payload • It does 1.2 MW charging, which recovers ~60% of the battery (~300 miles of range) in just 30 minutes during mandatory driver breaks • Has a drag coefficient of ~0.4, which is lower than a Bugatti Veyron bc of the bullet-shaped cab and radical center-driver seating (fyi this is a ~7% improvement over previous design) • The battery is engineered to last 1 million miles, has the same cells as the Cybertruck • It's 50% cheaper to operate in California and nearly 20% cheaper per mile nationwide, this includes everything like energy, maintenance, no oil changes • While Jay Leno was hauling 60-70,000 lbs GVW, he said “I don’t even feel like I’m pulling anything…” • The Tesla Semi fleet already logged >13.5 million miles total, with one truck approaching 440,000 miles with 95% uptime • It's ~1,000 lbs lighter overall + 2,000 lb EV weight exemption keeps it at full payload parity with diesel trucks • Regen braking is so strong it descends steep grades at highway speed with almost zero use of service brakes • The truck is proven in Alaska winters with heat pump and minimal range loss • It has a turning radius like a Model 3/Y despite being a full-size Class 8 truck • Tesla has a new dedicated factory near Giga Reno ramping high-volume production this year (tens of thousands annually) with strong customer demand already locked in If I were a business, the Tesla Semi is a no-brainer!show more

One of the things I’ve struggled with this year... is my weight, due to a new medication. I’ve always been someone who loves food, but after going on birth control for the first time in 10+ years I gained 25 pounds in less than 3 months. The birth control was one attempt to help with my severe PMDD symptoms, but sadly it didn’t work AND caused my cravings to skyrocket. After doing a full 3 month test my doctor and I decided to try other treatment options for PMDD. A big reason for that decision was because my body fat percentage was quickly nearing 40% and was starting to cause other health issues. I’ll be completely honest, I lost a lot of motivation in the months after gaining the weight. It became seemingly impossible to get back to where I was just 6 months ago. How could it go downhill so quickly? I am proud to report, however, that after 3 months of changing my mindset and focusing on myself I have lost 7 of those 25 pounds. I am finally going to the gym consistently again, eating the correct amount of calories per meal (except on big film days 😅), and have been spending more time with people who lift me up. I still have a long way to go, but for the first time in over a year I’m really starting to feel like myself again. Thank you to all of you who’ve been on this wild and incredible journey with me all these years 😘show more

The ‘approach drought’ is alive and well everywhere, including... on the beach ❌🏖️ Girls go to the beach in skimpy bikinis and sit on the sand for hours hoping to meet a guy. The guys do not appear (anymore). ALL you actually have to do to meet sexy girls in bikinis yourself is: 1️⃣ Go to the beach. You do not need a ‘Chad physique’ either 2️⃣ Take a stroll along the beach. Lots of people do this. It’s natural 3️⃣ You can have a buddy with you if you want. Bring a beachball to make it more fun 4️⃣ Stop and chat with cute girls you see splashing in the surf or soaking in the sun 5️⃣ If they aren’t interested in chatting, keep strolling & opening till you find girls who are 6️⃣ When you find girls who are down, stop strolling and take a seat with them. Chat for a while 7️⃣ If it’s going well, invite them to grab food, a drink, an ice cream, etc. from a spot along the beach 8️⃣ If it’s still going well after that, invite them back to yours for wine or to watch a movie I started picking up girls at the beach when I was 25 lbs. overweight. I thought they would be put off by my lack of WASHBOARD ABS (I figured I’d get shot down but it was still worth a test… surprise, surprise, girls on the beach are chill!) but it turns out girls don’t care. Seriously, if you have the confidence to talk to a girl on the beach, you are instantly way hotter than the washboard ab dude sitting four towels down who just doesn’t have the balls to approach her. If you have the confidence to actually try to move the interaction forward, that x10. Go to the beach, man. You know how chicks on dating apps like to catfish you, and it turns out they are actually double the weight you thought they were? There is none of that at the beach. It is ALL on display. What you see is what you get. Yeah, you might be a little nervous approaching a girl with barely anything on at first, but just keep your eyes on her face and don’t stare at her boobs too much and you’ll be fine. Plus: if she likes you, she is going to want you to stare at her boobs a little bit. Have fun.show more

Today, we recognized the journey of Kevin Eriksen, who... has been with the Yankees since 2021. Kevin was born with cerebral palsy and has also battled with ulcerative colitis. While he rarely used a wheelchair as a child, when Kevin was hospitalized in November 2020 with a severe flare-up of his ulcerative colitis, a lack of activity as well as his medication exacerbated each other, leading him to double his weight and become almost entirely reliant on his wheelchair. On the night of Jan. 28, 2024, Kevin committed to making a change, going for a 0.2 mile walk in the freezing cold. Every day from that point — rain, shine, snow or heat, he made sure to go for a walk, increasing the length of his walk by 0.2 miles approximately every month. Over the last year, Kevin has covered more than 500 miles and dropped approximately 70 lbs. Kevin celebrated the 1-year anniversary of his journey by doing his daily walk navigating the Yankee Stadium 100 Level Concourse and finishing on the warning track of the field. His fellow Yankee colleagues, friends, and family were excited and proud to cheer on Kevin as we congratulated him on his remarkable accomplishment!show more

I never thought I would become part of this... “salon racism trend,” that’s going around social media…nor did I ever WANT to ever become a part of this trend. Yesterday, my daughter and I attempted to go get our nails done. We walked into the nail salon, someone was being helped at the counter to be checked out, & someone was sitting on a chair by the door, or were just waiting on someone else to finish getting their nails done, (as though they’d already been assisted, but hadn’t had their service completed yet). My daughter simply asked how long the wait was for 2 full-sets and one pedicure…she was told it would be 15 minutes. We did this BEFORE we sat down. The woman in the chair IMMEDIATELY said, “I know you see me sitting here…how you gonna just walk in & jump right in front of me?” To which I responded, “you’ll be alright.” She then shot straight up, began to cause a scene, she stomped to the back of the salon…the whole time she was going on about how she wasn’t going to stay and wait to have her nails done. She was being rude and disrespectful, but I wasn’t even fully aware of what was occurring. You see…when a normal person goes to a salon & would like to receive services…you go up to the counter to see how long the wait is (like my daughter and I did when we entered). You don’t walk in & sit in one of the chairs, expecting for people to drop what they are doing to attend to your every need. If there is a line, you get up off your ass, & get in the line…otherwise it just appears that you are not a paying customer…waiting for a paid service, yourself, it appears that you are just sitting there, waiting on someone else to finish getting the mani-pedi that they have paid for. Then again, a “normal person” wouldn’t have completely lost their mind simply because we asked how long the wait was, before we sat down…because we asked in the way a normal person does. A normal person would have calmly stated, “Excuse me, but I have been waiting.” It was clear that she was there prior to us entering the salon, so it wouldn’t have been a problem at all. However, this individual chose to act like a wildebeest. She took off…straight to the back of the salon, in order to get her friend…whose nails weren’t even completely done, because she was now refusing to get her nails done here. All because we walked in and asked how long the wait was. That was it. I’ve seen stories of people being racist like this on social media, but I have never actually encountered this in real life, & I never expected to receive this type of treatment in real life…especially in small-town, USA…yet, here we are. A grown-ass black woman, stomping out of a nail salon, while exclaiming that we “make her ass itch,” (eww, girl) and then accused us of other things (in the presence of my infant grandson, no less). To which my daughter did respond, “nope, I wasn’t,” because after everything that she just did…after the huge scene that she just caused…why should we be expected to say absolutely nothing? This racist display left my daughter so upset that she didn’t even want to get her nails done. This is not the country that I grew up in any longer. 😢😢show more

While many around the league don’t expect any linebackers... to be drafted tonight, if there is one, it certainly could be #TexasAM’s Edgerrin Cooper. Cooper is the most complete LB in the 2024 draft class. He’s shown to be: 1️⃣an elite athlete 2️⃣a consistent and impactful run defender 3️⃣a capable and efficient blitzer, and 4️⃣able to use his size and bend to disrupt in pass protection As a run defender, he finished with an 87.6 PFF grade, highest among any expected draft linebackers in this year’s draft class. That includes 15 TFLs or no gain plays. As you can see (🎥), his downhill force plus balance and control allows him to consistently win in the run game As a pass rusher, he had 7 sacks on the year, 4 of which came from playing on the line of scrimmage. When lined up on the line of scrimmage, he generated a pressure on over 30% of his pass rush snaps. Elite ‼️ And in coverage, he finished with a top-10 coverage grade int eh country last season (per PFF College) among LBs lined up in the box. He’s able to use his length and bend, along with developed vision and timing to disrupt plays from the box. Couple all of that with a 4.51 forty time and would-be impressive athletic testing numbers if he was 100% for the draft process (why he wasn’t able to officially go every day in practice at This Account Has Moved), and it’s hard to ignore his NFL starting potential. There’s a real chance he goes in late round one, but if he’s there on Day 2, he may not only be one of, if not the, first linebacker drafted, but may be one of the first players taken on Day 2 of the draft. #ShrineBowlWhosNextshow more

I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this... story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. She lied constantly, and her excuse was that she was “protecting her marriage” a marriage that was already broken from the moment Serhat removed that ring at the airport in episode one. She tried to hand Yıldız (a woman who had already suffered enough) over to dangerous people. Then she found out the truth about her own birth (that her father ra*ped her mother.)And still no empathy. No moment of humanity toward her own mother. All she cared about was herself. And even though none of this had anything to do with Yıldız, she still found a way to blame it on her. Instead of holding her father accountable, she went and made a deal with him to get rid of Yıldız. She literally made a deal with the devil just to hurt Yıldız one more time. And after all of that… you want me to feel sorry for her? You want me to call her a victim? I honestly cannot believe we are living on the same planet with people who see this and still say, “she’s the victim.” Not morally. Not logically. Not emotionally. There is no world where this makes sense. It’s like watching someone clearly cause harm, and still calling them the victim and actually BELIEVING it. #HalefKöklerinÇağrısıshow more

🚨BREAKING: I, Chesnyy the world-famous Servicerottie, have been officially... cancelled by Canadian Tire🚨 Took the humans on an emergency pre-blizzard supply run because apparently -20°C and more snow is “not ideal walking or wheelchair weather” (weak). Mission objectives: Score a jingly collar from the $4.99 clearance rack (nailed it, I look like a festive wind chime now) Watch human compare toilet paper like it’s a life-or-death decision (she spent 11 minutes debating “ultra plush” vs “mega roll”… ma'am this is not NASA) But the REAL reason we went? We brought the secret weapon: Kenji the 10-week-old fluffernutter puppy. Pistol’s dad got volunteered to push the cart so the little con artist could practice “socialization.” Socialization update: FAILED. Every single woman in the store (and I mean EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.) lost their damn minds. They swarmed the cart like it was giving out free Tim Hortons. Cooing. Baby-talking. Taking selfies. One lady literally said “I’m ovulating right now” (ma’am please seek help). Meanwhile I, Chesnyy, 95 lbs of pure black and tan muscle, perfect recall like a Marine, carrying my new jingly couture… was invisible. A ghost. A decorative floor rug in need of snacks. So yeah. I’m launching a side hustle: “Rent-A-Puppy” dating service. $50/hr, Kenji rides in the cart, you get approached by 47 women instantly. I sit beside him looking majestic and ignored, collecting my 10% sadness fee.Who wants in? Coffee thoughts - I’m not sure Candace is coming... back. “I want to thank Baron for telling me it was time to do this”. “Thank you to everyone that’s been on this journey it’s been a heavy one.” “Today went a lot different than I thought it was going to be” Just for the record the court filing I posted last night was to get more time to respond and to go from 25 pages to 35 pages on why the court case with Harpole should be dismissed for “Failure to state a claim”. She’s trying to get it dismissed before it goes to discovery. Put the paperwork in AI it will give you the specifics. We all knew it was coming. The money it takes to fight these suits is insane. She’d be stupid to not try to get it dismissed. And Tennessee has more laws protecting public figures so it would be easier to get dismissed than in Delaware (that doesn’t) with the Macrons. I still think more happened yesterday. And the way she was acting just gives me this maybe it for a bit. Maybe I’m wrong but I knew yesterday something was up. Her video seemed more directed at making her last claims on everyone than continuing the attack. There was nothing there for an emergency video. She’s heavily pregnant, she’s run out of material, she’s being sued and the cases are coming up, she has 4 kids about to be 5 and you can only attack people so long with the same accusations. The trial is coming up that will disprove the conspiracies. Or maybe she just wanted one last show until she gets back. I still question if maybe another lawsuit dropped. We shall see. Off to vacation myself. Apparently we are going to Spain. (Joking).show more

No stress eating and no excuses. This is a huge W. 300 pounds feels like a distant memory now, that will never be revisited. Frank’s athleticism, flexibility, and energy haven’t been this good since he was in high school. He has completely reformed his body composition, which isn’t always reflected by weight loss. He is building muscle and carrying significant excess skin. In fact, when a person his height loses 200+ pounds, the excess skin typically weighs between 15-25 pounds or in higher cases even 40 pounds. That means if Frank got surgery for his excess skin, he would weigh ~ 270 pounds. This combined with his A1C and overall physiological renaissance, Frank is adding 20+ years to his life. We’ve never had a weight target, the goal has always been to establish a healthier sustainable lifestyle. On that front, Frank has already won. It has now been 2 years of weigh ins and I couldn’t be more proud of Frank & the positive impact he is having on others. This journey will ultimately be his legacy. *Sorry about the toes, cost of doing business the man hasn’t worn socks for decades. Anudder weigh in the booksshow more

There’s a reason Craig Breslow traded a Boston legend... like Chris Sale for Vaughn Grissom. He believes in him. The upside is real. Grissom debuted at 21 y/o with Atlanta while skipping AAA. • He owned a career .287/.339/.407/.746 slash in 236 MLB PA prior to being traded • Career .312/.404/.463/.867 slash with a 134 wRC+ and 11.1% BB/14.4% K in the minors • Mashes LHP… career .289/.346/.381/.727 slash, 102 wRC+ in the majors • Called-up for Boston’s last 8 games: slashed .330/.370/.417/.787 with 2 XBH and a 117 wRC+… also had 2 three-hit games down the stretch • limits K and whiff rates, walks a good amount, & commands the zone… all things this team needs out of a RHH - in 2024 (AAA): 19.2% K, 15.2% BB ‼️ Let it be known, the Grissom people saw (or think they saw) last year isn’t the Grissom we will see next year. He joined a new team. Strained not one, but BOTH of him hamstrings. Didn’t have a full Spring Training. Then recovered, got the flu, and reportedly lost 10+ lbs. Recovered again, dominant AAA, and finished the year off strong in the majors. 2024 was hard for him, and despite the many struggles above, he proceeded to ball out. That’s a wild season. I’d love to land Alex Bregman, but Vaughn Grissom is a guy who should be penciled in at 2B for this club on Opening Day. People see -0.2 fWAR and a .190 AVG and scream “bust.” I see a 24 y/o kid with a chip on his shoulder and loads of potential ready to bounce back in the biggest way next year. I can’t wait to see what Vaughn Grissom can do in 2025.show more

A witness's memoir. The first days of a full-scale... war. Massacre on the Zhytomyr highway, Kyiv region. Every Ukrainian killed by Russian soldiers is not a number. It is a person, people. Read this memoir. We were driving in the opposite lane. Almost as soon as we entered the stretch [of the Zhytomyr highway towards Kyiv - ed.] we heard shots. We stopped, the car was not moving. Maksym jumped out and started waving: "There are children here! Children!" It was all in front of me. He fell down. Ksenia started to rattle. Once, twice. Hordii said: "Why is mom rattling?" I turned around and took Hordii. I put him [in the driver's seat] and covered him [with myself]. I got a bullet (points to his right forearm - ed.). They were shooting for a long time. And then there was silence. I opened the door and there were Buryats with machine guns... I realized that they were Russians. I said immediately: "There are children here, don't shoot, please, there are children here." And they: "The child first". Hordii went out, but I couldn't go out... I got out and saw Maksym's legs. I wanted to approach him, but [the Russian] did not let me pass. He said: "That's it! That's it!" I started saying, "Ksenia is here! Mom is behind!" He looked: "Cover the child's eyes". I covered Hordii's eyes, I had a shawl. And he took us in that direction (to the area behind the gas station - ed.). There was a pit there. I asked him [the Russian who brought us]: "Are you serious now? Don't do that." And he said: "I'm sorry. My child is also six years old. I'm sorry." I thought they were going to shoot us. But a Russian officer appeared behind the pit and shouted: "Who opened fire? Who shot? Who brought her here?" I started to tell him: "We were on our way, we evacuated, they are shooting... we have children...", "You had no identification marks". I said: "We had white ones... and [the inscription] 'children' both in front and behind". Someone behind me said: "What are you going to do with them?"
