Not a new warm-up strategy by any means but... certainly new to Ferrari is the use of 'brake magic' What it essentially does is move the brake bias very far forward, let's say, 75%. Charles then overlaps the pedals to generate heat in the brakes, which then soaks into the front tyre. You can hear Charles do this at the end of the straight. You don't want to do this too often or excessively because you can glaze the front brakes.show more
