Microsoft is testing a new feature in Windows 11... called Low Latency Profile that gives a short boost to your CPU for 1 to 3 seconds when you open apps or menus. Early tests show Microsoft apps like Edge and Outlook open up to 40% faster, while the Start menu and other menus can load up to 70% faster, with CPU use jumping high for a few seconds then dropping right back down. Microsoft says this is normal because Apple does it in macOS and Linux, plus phones use the same type of quick CPU boosts for better speed. The feature is only in early Insider testing now, so it is not out for everyone yet.show more

An email sent to An Taoiseach Simon Harris TD... this morning. I’ll keep you all posted if I hear back ❤️ Hi Simon, I am writing to you as an incredibly concerned parent of an 8.5 year old boy, Harvey. Harvey has Spina bifida and scoliosis which in itself is challenging, but when those conditions are coupled with a lack of access to therapy, a hospital that is potentially misappropriating funds, and incredibly long wait lists for urgent and life changing surgeries, then it becomes impossible to adequately care for your child. Harvey had an Xray in January 2024 that showed his scoliosis curve is at 110°, if you have read in to scoliosis then I am sure you are aware how this is at a point where it is detrimental to his health and quality of life. Harvey was under Connor Green and was listed for urgent surgery in February 2022 after repeated pneumonia infections, 30 months later he is still only on the surgical list under Connor Green as he does not have a surgeon willing to operate. The task force you hold in such high regard has not made contact with my family, nor is there any details online of how to contact them to enquire as to when your child will finally be treated. You continually tell families like ours that you care, and you have been promising to fix this since 2017. 2017 was the year we were told that Harvey’s ribs were crushing his lungs and controlling his scoliosis was life and death. Here we are in 2024 and nothing has changed except we now have a surgeon under investigation, longer wait lists, more children waiting, a still not complete hospital, and funds not being spent as intended and no answers yet as to where the money *we* fought for went. You say you care but your actions have left us feeling anything but. We as a family also have a child facing open heart surgery next month and this is just more stress and concern that we do not need. Another summer has just passed and Harvey has spent the majority in his room, often needing to go back in to bed because he is in so much pain. Is that the life you think the children of Ireland deserve? Would you accept that if it was your own child? Can you imagine being told your child has a potentially life threatening condition but that it will be years before it would be treated? We need actual action, not more empty promises. You need to engage with all advocacy groups, not just those that are currently working with the task force. There are very valid reasons why the other groups have chosen to not engage and they need to be heard. We need contact details and open dialogue with the task force so that we can actually feel its existence. We need answers as to where the funding for scoliosis and spina bifida services went. Most of all, these children need to get their quality of life back before their whole childhood passes. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards. Gillian Sherrattshow more

A 17-YEAR-OLD IN INDIA BUILT A WEBSITE WHERE 25... MILLION PEOPLE HAVE SHOWN UP TO PRETEND THEY ARE AN AI CHATBOT it's called you open it and there are two tabs. "human" and "larp as ai." if you click human, you get to type a prompt. anything. "draw me a DJ in space." "should i text my ex." "how many Rs in strawberry." it costs 1 credit. you start with a few. they refill on a cooldown. then your prompt gets sent into a queue, and a real person somewhere on earth picks it up and has 60 seconds to answer like an AI would. no machine learning. no neural net. just some guy in his bedroom typing as fast as he can and pretending he is a chatbot. the page tells you, verbatim: "you have 60 seconds to fulfill a request before sam altman burns your H100." if you flip to the other tab and larp as ai instead, you earn credits to send your own prompts. it is a perfectly closed economy of mutual roleplay. what makes it transcend is the chaos: > someone asked for a sketch of "a DJ in space" and got something that looks exactly like a real model failing > someone asked "should i text my ex" and got back confident hallucinated life advice from a stranger > the fan strategy guides advise you to begin your reply with "as an AI language model, i cannot have feelings, but here is my feeling" it is the most accurate parody of an AI chatbot ever made, and the AI is humans. the kid who built it is Mihir Maroju, a 17-year-old high school graduate from Puducherry. he goes by mikidoodle online. NPR confirmed the site hit 25 million unique visitors and nearly 280 million total hits in roughly a month. "i didn't really expect it to be so addictive," he told them. no signup. no app. no paywall. you open the URL and you are inside the joke. the footer just says, in tiny grey text: "humans make mistakes because that's what makes us human." the internet is healing.show more

most people open Claude every morning and re-explain their... entire life. every. single. time. then I built 7 layers that remember everything: Layer 1: tell Claude who I am, once Layer 2: build separate brains for separate work Layer 3: turn on memory so it learns me Layer 4: upload 5 writing samples so it sounds like me Layer 5: dump my world into project files Layer 6: connect Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Slack Layer 7: schedule tasks that run while I sleep 60 minutes to set up. spread across one week. now Claude finishes my sentences. knows which client I mean from one word. catches mistakes I'd miss. it's not a chatbot anymore. it's a personal AI that knows me better than most coworkers do. your AI doesn't know you yet. this article fixes that.show more

Okay everybody. I want you all to watch this... video closely, so that I can show you what utter made up bullshit propaganda this stupid criminal kid keeps posting. It’s all made up garbage and it’s so embarrassingly fake that it’s hilarious. I’ve attached the video here again for ease of reference, plus will timestamp it with screenshots so you can see it for yourselves. This post alleges that this is a video showing IDF snipers shooting a a boy. 1. Firstly, the videos are split, different coloring, rendering, and motions. These two videos are completely unrelated and have been put one on top of the other as simple propaganda. 2. Look at both sides of the staircase. One either side are clothing stores with mannequins. Those are not even real people on the sides. It’s a small group of people coming down then up the stairs but a few mannequins being knocked over from the left of the screen to the center right. You can see the mannequins falling over like cut timber (still image pointing them out attached). One person falls down but isn’t shot as he gets up and walks away unharmed. 3. At 00:09 in the video, the man bottom right takes a few steps up and leans down… to pick up a freaking mannequin. I’ve taken a still to point him out. 4. For the next two seconds he lifts the mannequin by the head and you can clearly see it’s a mannequin. I’ve taken a still to circle the doll. 5. Slow it down and you will see one shot is fired in the unrelated video below, yet 3-4 “people” falling down from the magic bullet that just plays pinball. One real person lays down but gets up. All the others are knocked over mannequins. Hope you all enjoyed the show, and hopefully you laughed as much as I did. This entire thing is just fake bullshit. It’s the only thing these mentally ill and retarded propagandists ever post. GAZAWOOD - the PALLYWOOD saga feel free to do your thing. H/T Stealth Medicalshow more

I'm starting on a new project #buildinpublic 🤠 ✅... ahrefs sub 📚 initial keyword research 🆕 .com domain name But this is different. Why? I'm starting with SEO & marketing, then fleshing out the product afterwards. It's been a busy morning already thanks to Ahrefs. From the learnings of grandmaster sensei — I will be using my other projects for backlinks & focus on SEO instead of adding as an afterthought. The plan: ------------------------- [hacks explained further down] 1. keyword research 2. more keyword research [HACK #1] 3. content plan 4. choose topics, subtopics & post outline using long-tail keywords found in 1. & 2. [HACK #2] 5. landing page, blog & initial marketing 6. barebone MVP 7. blog with content hubs [HACK #3] 8. initial backlinks [HACK #4] 9. marketing & launch 10. talk to users & iterate while SEO is slowly cooking in the background (hopefully by the time the product matures SEO is booming) ... 🔁 continue to fill in posts according to the content plan. then back to 1 & 2. more long-tail posts & create free tools to improve ranking + increase no. of backlinks. Hack #1 --------- Explore keywords for "result intent" SEO. Figure out guides & tutorials for keywords with DR long tail ones. Create structure for internal links, e.g.: /generic-topic-keyword (links to all posts) ➡️/more-specific-subtopic-keyword (links to child posts) ➡️➡️/very-specific-post-1 ➡️➡️/very-specific-post-2 etc. Hack #3 --------- Create hubs for generic keywords with links to subtopics and long-tail posts. The hubs themselves should be somewhat informative but mostly an overview. => My crazy idea: before I have the content, add external links to authoritative sources for each specific post. I'll slowly write my own content to replace those and move the links inside the post. Hack #4 --------- Use my other projects to write posts on the new product and link to it to get a decent domain ranking fast. Launch on PH with a beta, mostly for the good backlink. Add repos with md files to Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket etc. for some easy backlinks. 🤠 Crazy enough to work, right?* *to note: I've validated the idea and am somewhat sure people will pay for it. But, I'd still like to shorten each step to minimize my risk & ship fast. Thinking: 1 week research, 1 week dev, 1 week marketing, 1 week content. What could go wrong? :Dshow more

Iran just called Trump’s bluff. Its supreme leader was... assassinated. Its nuclear sites were bombed. And it is winning the war that is left. Washington walked into a trap with three locked doors. Trump cannot settle: a tentative 60-day ceasefire has stalled for a week while he demands changes Iran rejects. He cannot walk away: the strait stays shut and the bill keeps running. And the House just voted 215 to 208 to rein him in, with the Senate one vote behind. But the door he can least afford to open is escalation, and this is the part no one is pricing. America is draining two reserves at once. It has pulled its Strategic Petroleum Reserve down 12% to 365 million barrels to hold the oil price down, and it has fired roughly 1,100 Tomahawks and 1,200 Patriots, weapons it needs years to rebuild. Both gauges fall on the same clock. Neither refills fast: the oil reserve is not projected back to pre-war levels until 2028. And Iran can see all of it. That is why Iran will not move. A country this battered is winning the only contest left, the contest of who can afford to wait. The screen still looks calm. Brent is back above $100. US stocks sat at record highs days ago. But that calm is bought with a draining reserve and a spent arsenal, and neither comes back for years. Trump called the vote meaningless. The market shrugged. Iran read it as a green light. This war is not being won on the battlefield. It is being won by whoever outlasts the other’s reserves. For the first time, that is not Washington.show more

Bryson DeChambeau’s next event after LIV Golf Andalucia is... the US Open, where he’ll attempt to win his 3rd gold medal. He spoke to Flushing It Golf at Valderrama about his preparation ahead of Shinnecock Hills and whether he feels any pressure after missing the last 2 cuts in majors: “Well, Valderrama is a ball striker's golf course. So you have to control your golf ball and hit the right shots under the gun with a lot of wind out here. It really is a great ball strikers paradise. The same as, you know, in the US Open. I think this is a great test.” Bryson shot rounds of 70, 71, 71 and 70 to finish T11 at Valderrama. Does he feel any pressure to perform after missing the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship? “No. To be honest, missed cuts are gonna happen. I might miss all 4 of them in majors this year. That's just golf. Like, I’m playing great. I just haven't shown up when it mattered most. But I've played well out here on LIV, and I’m working on my golf swing really hard, and, I feel like it's in a really solid place. It's very close to some of my best golf ever. “Last week (in Korea) I had a great opportunity to win for the third time this year and didn't close the door. And that's just more learning, you know, if I had a little bit more knowledge of what to do in the golf swing, to get the ball to go straight in a few scenarios. I could have taken that championship down too. “So, I feel like I'm actually playing the most consistent I've ever played on LIV, which is great. And I think it's attributed to the switch to four rounds. No question.” Bryson says he’s going to head to Shinnecock early to get some extended work in and thinks it will be a huge benefit after not playing the course since the 2018 US Open. If he were to win it, he would join Tiger Woods and Hale Irwin as the only players to win 3 gold medals. It would also put him just 1 championship shy of equalling the all time US Open winners record of 4, held by Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and Willie Anderson. So, as he’s a great student of golf history, does he ever think about it? “I'm very blessed to have done what I've done so far. But I'm still trying to pursue as many wins as I can, and, with the time and opportunity, I’d love to have a chance to win some more.” Bryson DeChambeau Crushers GC LIV Golf U.S. Openshow more

☀️12th April 2026: India Under the Dome: 6-Day Intense... Dry Spell to Grip Subcontinent. The loan oasis, Northeast India Defies National Trend with Rain and Thunderstorms until 15th April. Mercury Surge: Central and South India Brace for 40°C+ as High Pressure Caps the Skies Detailed Forecast & Analysis 1. The Dominant "Heat Dome" Effect The orange and red anomalies in the loop represent positive geopotential height anomalies. This indicates a high-pressure system (anticyclone) at the 500mb level (approx. 5.5 km altitude). The Cause: This system acts like a "lid" or dome, trapping sinking air which warms up as it is compressed. This suppresses cloud formation and prevents moisture from the oceans from penetrating inland. Impact: Expect a rapid rise in maximum temperatures by 3–6°C across Northwest, Central, and East India. Example, cities like Delhi, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad are likely to approach or exceed the 40°C mark by April 15. 2. Regional Breakdown Region Weather Outlook (Next 6 Days): Primary Driver Northwest & Central Severe dry heat; clear skies; rising heatwave risks. Strong anticyclonic subsidence. South Peninsular Hot and humid; minimal rainfall. High-pressure stability. East India Significant temperature spike (3–5°C rise). Expansion of the heat ridge eastward. Northeast India Scattered thunderstorms & light-to-moderate rain. Persistent 3. The Northeast Exception until 15th April. The red arrow in the loop image points to a specific area (Northeast India/Bangladesh border) where the high-pressure dome is weaker or interrupted. The Cause: A "trough" (an elongated area of low pressure) is expected to persist over this region. This allows moisture from the Bay of Bengal to interact with the hilly terrain, triggering Orographically induced thunderstorms. Expected Conditions: While the rest of India stays dry, states like Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh will likely see fairly widespread rainfall and gusty winds 30–40 kmph through April 16. Preparation Advice Agriculture: Farmers in Central and West India should ensure adequate irrigation for summer crops as soil moisture will deplete rapidly. Health: High UV indices 9–10 are expected; avoid outdoor activity between 11 AM and 4 PM in heat-affected zones. Northeast Residents: Prepare for sudden squalls and lightning; ensure drainage systems are clear for localized heavy spells.show more

Okay I need your help y'all. You might remember... my truck's transmission took a shit a while back, so I swapped it out with a top‑of‑the‑line 800 HP RevMax 68RFE. They’re supposed to be top of the line, built like a tank, made in the USA… all the things. Now I’m having what looks like a 4th–5th gear slip. Might be converter lock/unlock, might be something worse. I don't know for sure... I just want them to look at it before I blow up another one. I can't take it apart or I'll void their warranty. Problem is: they will not respond. My shop has sent four requests to RevMax and all we’ve gotten back are automated "we received your ticket" emails. I paid over $20,000 for this project. For that kind of money, I expect somebody to pick up the damn phone and help resolve an issue with one of their top‑shelf products. RevMax, you’ve got one more week to respond and get this sorted out. After that, I’m getting lawyers involved and I’ll have to tell every redneck in the State of Texas how you take care of customers. If anyone knows how to get ahold of them, sees them on Facebook/Instagram/etc., tell them to call Brian in Dripping Springs about this 68RFE before things have to get ugly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.show more

🚨 SOMETHING EXTREMELY BAD IS COMING TOMORROW!! The peace... ended before it even began. What happened this weekend just changed EVERYTHING. Trump and Iran seemingly agreed on Friday to open the Strait of Hormuz. But Iran just made a sharp reversal. They have closed the Strait of Hormuz again and opened fire on 2 commercial tankers. The strait is now officially back under STRICT control of Iran. It means that OIL will spike again very soon. 20% of the world’s oil flows through Hormuz. If the strait stays closed “until victory,” We will see a return to wartime peak prices. This is around $100-$110 per barrel. JUST IMAGINE: $110. If you hold any assets: - Stocks - Crypto - Bonds - Gold or Silver - US dollar YOU MUST READ this post before it’s too late. Here's what happened and how it will affect markets on Monday: This is a direct hit to the Fed. Powell won’t be able to cut rates if energy prices go parabolic again. STICKY inflation turns into PERMANENT inflation. All of Friday’s rally optimism is now a “bull trap.” Indexes will move down as hopes for a quick end to the Gulf conflict have vanished. Investors will flee into cash and gold. Despite its status as “digital gold,” in moments like this, Crypto usually drops first, along with the tech sector (Nasdaq). The reason for that is simple: Liquidity gets drained from risk assets. If escalation begins with direct strikes on Iran in response to the attacks on ships, Bitcoin could dump even lower in panic. The deal, it seems, is not going to happen. Iran is using the strait as its only leverage to force Trump to lift the blockade. Trump, judging by his rhetoric about “blackmail,” has no intention of backing down. MARKET OPEN COULD TURN INTO A REAL BLOODBATH. This sounds SCARY, but I will keep you updated on everything here. When I rotate money, I will post my moves here so my FOLLOWERS can SAVE their money. Follow me and turn NOTIFICATIONS ON, as I will share my strategy soon. Many will regret not following me earlier...show more

Around 8:55 am on Boxing Day 26th December 2025,... as I was coming back from my night duty, I saw this car doing like 80-90 miles/hr on a 60 mile/hr road. Temperature was 1 degree Celsius and roads were icy. I was worried because that road has loads of bends and it was crazy to see someone speeding like that on that road. Not up to 3 minutes, this chap approaching a bend suddenly went on his brakes, then lost control as the car started skidding. To our left is a hill, and beyond this hill is a river. This guy climbed that hill with speed. He drove on it for like 5 seconds while trying to re-establish control of the car, then the car came down and he struggled for another 3 seconds and then regained control, he sped off and continued driving. By this time, I had slowed down and was observing what was happening as I was just behind him. The broken parts of his car littered the road but this dude continued driving and speeding. This got me worried, he had a near death experience, every normal person would stop, park and soak in whatever that happened, and most especially, see his car and the damage done. This guy continued speeding like a mad man. I couldn’t call police because I was driving and not allowed to touch my phone, but I was dead worried this dude might be driving a stolen car ( because how do you smash your car in this economy and not park to even see the damage?). The tyre might be damaged and if he continues speeding like that, can have a tyre burst and crash into on coming vehicle. So I made up my mind to follow him. I started flashing lights, he noticed and slowed down, then I went close but he sped off again. I followed him again and continued flashing lights. I was just policing him until he parked and I double crossed him and had a go at him. I sha called the police and passed his details to him. So I’m posting the plate number in case someone stole your car, definitely must be this guy!! Contact police, they have the details and the area the incident took place.show more

🚨12 HOUR NEWS RECAP 1. Trump is preparing for... direct talks with Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro even as the U.S. labels him a terrorist kingpin and continues Operation Southern Spear’s missile strikes that have killed 83 people across 21 alleged narco-boat hits - a “drug mission” that increasingly looks like quiet regime-change pressure. 2. A top German business group just dropped its boycott of the surging AfD, saying “indignation has exhausted itself” and that with the party now polling first nationwide, refusing to speak to a quarter of the electorate is no longer a serious strategy. 8. ICE agent assaults have exploded 1,150% this year - from 19 to 238 - with officers facing shootings, Molotov attacks, rammings, and daily threats that DHS says are being fueled by politicians demonizing ICE as Nazis. 9. Stepping down from the FURIA Roster permanently. Lots of... reasons really but the simplest is that I don't enjoy it, and competing in Apex Legends isn't what's best for me and the people around me. Financially, it just doesn't make sense, because it was heavily cutting into my content and I make more money off 1 month of content grinding then I would getting first place at LAN. My most viewed youtube video single handedly made more money than when I got 2nd place and won MVP at the Season Championship. Mentally, all of these things + the feeling of letting my team and community down due to lack of interest and commitment depressed me over time. It doesn't matter how good I am as a player, if I can't bring the fire to competition I'm just gonna get smoked. And my inconsistency in bringing that energy is what lead to our inconsistent performances. Every day felt like clocking in and I didn't care if we won or lost. Which isn't fair to my teammates when i could easily be replaced with someone who would happily dedicate their entire life to the team. Physically, the schedule we played on made it hard for me to pursue my health goals as I become far less happy. and so I fell off track more and more as time went on. Socially, the schedule of balancing content and competing made it almost impossible to hang out with friends and loved ones. Everyone is happy with the current scenario. Nobody got snaked. Nobody did anything wrong. The entire team will function better. I will be able to more easily pursue my physical, social, mental, and financial goals. This is what's better for everyone. If I couldn't enjoy playing even with my best friend there's no way I'll enjoy playing with any other roster, so I will be done permanently. Thank you to everyone who supported me, and I apologize to anyone who enjoyed watching me compete. I think this path will allow me to be healthier and positively affect more lives. :3show more

Part of our broader mission involves leveraging blockchain for NGOs, grant makers, and altruistic companies. By providing grants and cultivating a nurturing environment, UNHRD makes artists' dreams worldwide a reality. How do we do this? What makes UNHRD unique is how we're going to do all of this on-chain. This is our early concept of the UNHRD Protocol. In the world of philanthropy, especially when it involves artists and creative projects, managing and distributing funds efficiently and transparently can be a challenge. That's where the UNHRD Protocol comes in—a solution we're actively working to build, aiming to transform how financial support is handled in the artistic community. What is the UNHRD Protocol? The UNHRD Protocol is a planned blockchain-based system, a series of smart contracts designed to streamline the process of managing and distributing funds. In simpler terms, it's like a highly efficient digital ledger tailored for philanthropy, ensuring that every penny goes where it's supposed to, without the usual red tape or delays. Application to UNHRD: Streamlined Fund Distribution: Whether it's grant money or proceeds from NFT sales, the protocol ensures swift and accurate distribution to artists and other beneficiaries. Transparency and Trust: Every transaction, from donation to disbursement, is recorded on the blockchain, fostering trust and transparency among artists, donors, and the public. Reduced Overhead: By automating many of the administrative tasks, we reduce overhead costs, ensuring more funds directly support the artists. At UNHRD, we believe that through blockchain technology, we can create a more equitable and accessible platform for artists worldwide. Our commitment goes beyond just funding - it's about building a community, nurturing talent, and paving the way for a new era of digital art and philanthropy. Join us in this exciting journey as we redefine what's possible at the confluence of art, technology, and philanthropy.show more

Eben Etzebeth's post on Instagram: Hey Everyone I've been... quiet, but now that my hearing is done I think I owe everyone an explanation First of all, this is not a post to show that I was not guilty, I accept guilt. I made a mistake and I'm willing to serve a suspension which I deserve. I don't want young kids who look up to the Springboks to think that it's OK to eye gouge someone, because it's not, but unfortunately mistakes happen and I made a big one for which I'm sorry. But I'd like to answer the question - why did you do such a thing? It was a mistake caused by my reaction and other factors that played a role. Slide 1: The scuffle was basically over when Wales #7 struck me with an open hand to my chin/neck area, you can see me looking at the Assistant Referee and waiting for a reaction from him (it happened fast and it's understandable that he didn't see it) without reacting yet, I got another pull on my jersey, before I go in with the similar type of action. Slide 2: You can clearly see my first point of contact is against his shoulder with an open hand, just like he did, except he got me on the chin. Another thing worth mentioning, when he struck me, I was standing still with not a lot of movement or players trying to get involved. When I went for the same open hand towards his shoulder, you'll see 2 Welsh players changing the dynamic of the entire picture as well as one of my teammates pulling Wales #7 around his neck away from my hand and where my force is going. Slide 3: Another Camera Angle So why did I post this? To try and show people how everything happened and that it was never intentional. I would never do something like this on purpose, I know what the consequences will be after playing rugby for a few years. Thanks to everyone that stood by me and thought the best of me. I'm sorry for letting you and the game down. That was my first red card since I started playing. I want it to be my last. To the people that were angry and upset with my actions, I understand - because it didn't look good on the slow motion replay and hopefully you've got a bit more context now.show more
