Road Rage on Southend roundabout: A driver almost caused... a collision when they failed to give way to another car on a roundabout. It happened at the busy roundabout next to Garon Park and the Southurch McDonalds. Kerry meek said: “I was already on the roundabout, going straight for the second exit, when suddenly, this car yeets in front of me. Brave. Bold. Unnecessary. “He slams his brakes like his brain just remembered The Highway Code exists, then starts posturing like he’s the main character and I’ve interrupted his audition tape. Pulled out, slammed on, got aggressive… and somehow he still believed I was in the wrong. “Now, I’m no expert, but I’m fairly sure give way to the right implies, aka the person already on the roundabout… meaning me." Kerry added: “All I wanted was the universal driver handshake: hand up, ‘oops!’ or a nod… and we both carry on like emotionally stable motorists.” “It’s a roundabout, not Fight Club: 2. Yet somehow, he still tried to invite me ‘round the corner’ for a fight. We all make mistakes. Just own it, wave a hand, apologise, and move on, my guy. Some of us are apparently action movie characters trapped in a Ford Focus. “So for Christmas this year, I’d like to nominate him to receive a copy of The Highway Code, some humility and maybe some proper driving lessons.”show more

"So I’m driving down the road this morning and... the cars in front of me are driving over a black thing in the road. It’s going between their tires so I’m guessing it’s a box. It’s a kitten just sitting upright shaking like a leaf. And some idiot had spread glue on its paws and stuck it to the road. I thought maybe it walked through glue somewhere but after looking at it, that was totally spread into her paws. She was wet and freezing and literally glued to the road. And NO ONE STOPPED. 😳 What the f$&k people??? I slammed on my brakes and stopped all the traffic and put my hazards on and got out and pealed her off the road. People were honking and all pissy....really??? It’s a kitten glued to the road!! So after a goo gone bath and some food and cream we have a new kitten. Luckiest kitten in the world!" "Yesterday on our way home, we broke down 2... hours away from home... on a busy interstate with three kids in tow. It wasn't exactly ideal, especially with a hungry newborn. I wouldn't get the baby out of his seat to feed him incase we got smacked by another vehicle on the highway, he was the safest in his seat. We called dispatch and AAA and an Alabama State Trooper showed up to help. I thought he was just going to divert traffic away from our lane, but he did so much more than that. He loaded the kids and I in his car and got us off the highway and to the closest rest stop. Sean stayed with the car to wait for the tow truck. He checked the bathroom for 'boogieman so Madeline could use the restroom. He shot illuminating helicopters in the sky with the kids while I made calls to try to get home. Major got really fussy when I was trying to wrangle my other children and calm them down from the evening's happenings. Without hesitation, he took Major out of his seat and gave him the bottle I had prepared from earlier. It seemed like he does that every day, knew how to hold him and when to burp him. Major even filled his pants during his feeding and the trooper laughed and continued feeding him. He then helped unload all our stuff from our car to his and drove our family to the nearest hotel. It was late, nothing was open, and we couldn't get a rental car until the morning. He helped unload our unruly amount of crap into our hotel room, told us where all the rental car places were, gave the girls a hug, and told us to call if we needed anything. That my friends... is humanity." 🙏show more

Around 8:55 am on Boxing Day 26th December 2025,... as I was coming back from my night duty, I saw this car doing like 80-90 miles/hr on a 60 mile/hr road. Temperature was 1 degree Celsius and roads were icy. I was worried because that road has loads of bends and it was crazy to see someone speeding like that on that road. Not up to 3 minutes, this chap approaching a bend suddenly went on his brakes, then lost control as the car started skidding. To our left is a hill, and beyond this hill is a river. This guy climbed that hill with speed. He drove on it for like 5 seconds while trying to re-establish control of the car, then the car came down and he struggled for another 3 seconds and then regained control, he sped off and continued driving. By this time, I had slowed down and was observing what was happening as I was just behind him. The broken parts of his car littered the road but this dude continued driving and speeding. This got me worried, he had a near death experience, every normal person would stop, park and soak in whatever that happened, and most especially, see his car and the damage done. This guy continued speeding like a mad man. I couldn’t call police because I was driving and not allowed to touch my phone, but I was dead worried this dude might be driving a stolen car ( because how do you smash your car in this economy and not park to even see the damage?). The tyre might be damaged and if he continues speeding like that, can have a tyre burst and crash into on coming vehicle. So I made up my mind to follow him. I started flashing lights, he noticed and slowed down, then I went close but he sped off again. I followed him again and continued flashing lights. I was just policing him until he parked and I double crossed him and had a go at him. I sha called the police and passed his details to him. So I’m posting the plate number in case someone stole your car, definitely must be this guy!! Contact police, they have the details and the area the incident took place.show more

Dricus Du Plessis praises Israel Adesanya for putting his... reputation on the line by taking a fight against Joe Pyfer “Just kudos to Adesanya for giving a guy like Pyfer a chance. He’s not close in the rankings, but it’s an exciting fight for the fans, and that just shows the quality of warrior he is. He’s putting his reputation on the line to fight an up-and-coming guy he doesn’t need to fight. He goes out there and says, ‘I want exciting fights,’ and this is exactly that.” (Via: Fight Forecast)show more

Today I had my first demo drive in a... Tesla. It was also my first time ever sitting in one. This was the first car I’ve ever sat in the driver’s seat of where I didn’t touch the steering wheel for over 20 miles. Before I even got to the car, the people who had demoed it before me were an older married couple who were absolutely euphoric. They thought it was so cool that the car could drive itself. The Tesla employee told me this happens all the time. People come back from demo drives and tell the next test driver that they’re about to have an amazing experience. Little did I know, I’d end up carrying on the torch to the next couple demoing it after me. There was a ton of construction where I demoed the car, and FSD handled the entire drive extremely well. And yes, it can go through a drive-thru and stop at each window. The only thing I had to do was tap the pedal because it wouldn’t leave on its own, but it was still wild seeing the AI stop perfectly at the second window and wait. There are a million things I could write about why a Tesla feels like a better car and how much more it offers compared to a regular car. But for now, I’ll stick to FSD. There were only two moments that made me a little uneasy. The first was pretty minor. The car slightly hesitated going up a driveway, but quickly made up its mind. The second was more noticeable. I didn’t realize the car was nagging me. Once I touched the steering wheel, nothing happened, so I pulled it right a little harder, then let go. After that, the car turned left and crossed a double yellow on a backroad. (and yes I know you can sue the volume knob) I’m not totally sure if it was trying to pull over or what it was doing. I wanted to see how it would handle the situation, but there were cars coming, so I took over and corrected it. One of the coolest moments was when I thought FSD was glitching because it came to a complete stop in the middle of a busy road. Then I looked around and realized why. On the right side, there was a bicyclist waiting at a yellow crosswalk. The cars behind me didn’t honk, and the Tesla stopping actually incentivized another car in the right lane to stop and let him pass. The car is almost too nice to pedestrians, because 99.999% of humans would’ve blown through that, especially with no flashing light. For 99.9% of the drive, the car navigated confidently and smoothly. It was a real “feel the AGI” moment. Please do not let the media, the general public, or anyone else convince you that this technology is just some kind of auto assist or glorified cruise control. This is undoubtedly getting extremely close to feeling superhuman. You still have to pay attention to the road, but after experiencing it myself, I’d be shocked if HW4 Teslas aren’t unsupervised within the next couple years. The car was extremely smooth. There was no harsh braking, and it even avoided something in the road that I didn’t see. Driving with FSD made me realize I probably wasn’t driving as well as I could be. Hopefully, eventually, everyone’s car can be as mindful as a Tesla. I’ve never seen a brand so far removed from the public’s sentiment. I’m so happy I ordered one.show more

Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on... FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.show more

Funny story about Gary Busey. I was driving home... from LAX after a Delta trip. The traffic was so bad on the 405 that night I decided to drive up the PCH, look at the ocean, and not get stressed. I pulled up to a stop light in Malibu, still in my Delta pilot uniform, epaulets and all. It was around midnight on a Friday. I looked to my left while at the light, in the vehicle next to me is Gary Busey. He looks over at me and sees me in my uniform and he freaks out! He thinks I’m a cop. 🤣🤣🤣 He immediately looks straight ahead and put his hands on the steering wheel at 10 and 2! No more eye contact. I laughed all the way home! 🤣🤣🤣show more

This guy is losing his mind in traffic. He’s... honking and screaming at the car in front of him to turn right. But the car in front of him not only has a red light, but where is it supposed to turn? Traffic is backed up and there is a truck right there. Many people said, “oh look, shocker, guy is in a Dodge Ram.”😂 Some said they would put their car in park and refuse to go. 💯 But, some did say there was one car length available and the car should have turned. 🤯 Yeah- people like this shouldn’t be driving. They need therapy. The car didn’t have the right of way. Where did he want the car to go? Should this guy be driving? Wouldn’t you think his rage would increase the risk of accidents? How would you deal with him if he was behind you?show more

“One time— there’s footage of it and it’s actually... amazing ‘cause it makes me look great; but on stage, Harry was right next to a pyro and the pyro was about to go off ‘cause they were on timers and he had a towel over his head and he had his head over the pyro and he didn’t see that the pyro was there, so I just kind of like— you see me run from one side of the stage and push him out of the way, and the pyro kind of like explodes in front of his face; that was really dangerous.” -Zayn talking about the time he saved Harry from a pyro on stage, via Hot Ones.show more
