but that doesnt mean that everything done here is... just for style! lifting your mouse before flicking is very situational, most of the time its done purely to make the start of the flick appear faster but it can be done to reset your mouse to get yourself into a more optimal position on your mousepad. On the other hand, I've found that lifting your mouse at the end of a flick is actually sometimes optimal for very wide angle movements.show more
