(Rumor) DUSK GOLEM says: Leon’s gameplay will NOT repeat... RE6 RESIDENT EVIL: REQUIEM Since RE6, Capcom has been extremely cautious with QTEs. They’ve moved away from heavy QTE usage in cutscenes and shifted more toward gameplay-driven interaction to keep players engaged. Leon’s gameplay will feel similar to RE4, but with new innovations never seen before in the series. Drivable vehicles will appear in certain sections. There will be a new close-quarters combat system, evolving from the knife mechanics in the RE4 Remake, with some influence from The Last of Us Part II. Compared to RE4, Leon’s sections will still strongly emphasize atmosphere and horror, rather than being nonstop action. There will be breathing moments that focus purely on tension and atmosphere. Some exploration areas will be fairly large in scale. Leon’s storyline in REQUIEM will lean further into horror elements. Capcom is fully aware that moments like the Salazar statue or the Heisenberg tank fight crossed the line into excessive spectacle and broke immersion. There will still be some over-the-top moments with a B-horror action vibe, but they’ll be limited and kept in balance with the horror. REQUIEM has been in development and refinement for a long time to ensure proper pacing and presentation, unlike RE6, which was rushed to meet deadlines. Because of this, REQUIEM will not follow RE6’s path. Dusk believes many players will grow very fond of Grace after finishing the game, though we’ll have to wait and see. Dusk wouldn’t be surprised if Ada is mentioned, but from what he’s heard, she doesn’t play a major role in this entry. This may be because she doesn’t fit the game’s tone, and Capcom may want to explore her story later through CG films or future titles. Even after the reboot/rework, the idea of RE9 being a conclusion to many long-running threads still remains in REQUIEM, while also laying the foundation for the future. Dusk thinks Capcom wants to push Resident Evil further forward instead of staying trapped in a “safe zone.” Repeating the same formula without innovation weakens the series. RE needs to experiment while preserving its core: horror-adventure with action elements. Dusk also believes that positioning RE9 as a possible endpoint for Leon is Capcom’s way of showing they won’t endlessly exploit the same characters. Iran launches symbolic missile attack against Israel, which retaliates... strongly After Iran launched a symbolic attack against Israel in protest against the attacks on Beirut, hours later it was Israel's turn to retaliate, this time indeed with violence and hitting more than 10 targets in Iran, including Tehran airport and Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, Kermanshah, Karaj, and some other areas in western Iran. Israel used air-launched ballistic missiles from Iranian airspace and also dared to launch cruise missiles from ships stationed in the Mediterranean. The White House said the US had no part in the attack; however, strangely, American tanker planes were seen in the air. Refueling whom? It wasn't my motorcycle. There are two questions at this moment: One is that since the Iranian retaliation did not hit targets in Israel in a significant way, it is very likely that Iran still has a serious problem with the refurbishment and upgrade of its long-range missiles. And the other is that perhaps the US has not only reinstated THAAD radars and others but also added more batteries brought from Asia that were positioned in advance in the corridors. Be that as it may, the current situation forces Iran to retaliate and show that it possesses real means of inflicting damage on Israel. There will be no ceasefire in Lebanon in the way Iran desires, simply because Israel saw the quantity of missiles that Hezbollah accumulated in a short period of time and will not allow that again. Israel has its own agenda, its own interests, and they are completely antagonistic to the peace plan that has been discussed. Trump is trying to save his political skin, but Netanyahu will impose his agenda and Trump will be dragged along by it. But while Trump isn't dragged along, Iran seems to be wanting to settle scores with Israel, launching a new wave of missiles along with Yemen, which, by all accounts, has also decided to launch missiles against Israel. OK, I have a definitive word on the CJ... Abrams play from today's Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals game after talking with Elias Sports Bureau on this. This play will stay as a sacrifice fly. The originial ruling of NOT a sacrifice fly was for the exact same reason that I thought, which is that the infielder is not running into the outfield, which is year's past would have been correct As it was explained to me, in past years, an infielder had to be running almost in a straight line towards the outfield wall to be considered "running in the outfield". Here, since he is running, and he ends up further away from home (157 feet) than when he started (145 feet), this is going to count as a sacrifice fly. That definition is changing, in part from this play to help bring greater consistency, and to take some of the guesswork out of it (the argument that he is running into the outfield as opposed to more parallel). Now, folks all the time ask "why doesn't MLB publish the OS Manual" and I always say because it is a living document that can have the wording change, and the wording for this play will be modified to something like "more towards the outfield wall than towards home plate" to eliminate any confusion. The big key to this play is that he was running on a full sprint. Also, and this is helpful for me, but for all fly ball outs that score a run, Elias Saba reviews to ensure consistency. So, yes, it's a sacrifice fly, and now that I have that info from Elias themselves, that sort of settles this one. HAVZTEZ LLC equipment is leaving the company to be... exhibited at the MSITF-2025 exhibition organized by the Defense Industry Agency under the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held from May 29 to July 1 (Victory Park, Tashkent). ARSLON, TQARLON-M, and TO'FON 155/52 self-propelled guns. The video also shows a covered modernized T-64B tank, which will be the “star” of the exhibition. The main focus of the modernization is the replacement of the 5TDF engine with a new 950-horsepower Doosan DP222LC. The Doosan DP222LC is mainly used in generator sets and is optimized for long-term operation at fixed speeds. Looking to launch the CPI early this week. working on the next big release which will be the agentic trials. each token gets trialled by a team of agents and receives metadata tags as a result. Trials will be replayable and viewable for every token. The metadata will serve a function when burning (more on that later) after the trials we will launch THE LAB which will be a place where you can manage your burns and modifying your remaining BRAINROTS after burns. This period right now is for building the community, and accumulating BRAINROTS. I have been talking about a few of these things in our private channels at greater depth, and will talk more about them in the near future. The plan for BRAINROT is to have the community have agency, choice and an active role in shaping the collection through burns, modifications and re-rolls. These will unlock new body types, new fashion and new accessory types and even more diversity into the collection. There will also be an option for creating legendaries which are custom designed either by me or an artist of your choice where possible. These will come at a great cost in burns though. Catwoman uses a grapple gun to zip up to... buildings and she has a built in wingsuit. #LegoBatmanGame We already knew this, I just wanted to see it in action in a free roam setting. I’ve started to make my peace with it somewhat. I’ve already made my peace with the wing suit, but the grapple will take and getting used to only because I think she should be able to utilize her whip as the grapple and please do not give me that thing about “it’s not long enough” she was able to utilize it in the Arkham games (please see my attached screenshot reference of me literally playing Arkham city right now and the whip length) and it didn’t even properly wrap around things and the length was inconsistent when she used it to get to the top of buildings I’m not saying that she needs to be able to scale the buildings like she doesn’t ask them because I understand the movement will not work like that in this game giving the open world, but it will be very nice if her grapple to zip up to buildings was replaced with her whip. It’s a Lego game who cares about the inconsistent lengths of the whip? Regardless, I am super super excited and I cannot wait to get this game in my hands on the 19thshow more

Americans are not ready to watch sons and daughters... hunted by FPV drones. Some may not like this post, and that’s OK. Some may see this as being a “panican,” and that is also OK. My tolerance for American blood being spilled is very, very low. But this needs to be said: If you have paid any attention to the war in Ukraine, you will know how drone warfare has escalated. You will have an understanding of the sophistication of the Ukrainians and Russians in their pursuit of hunting and killing each other with human-guided robots strapped with explosives. We know Russia and Iran share military ties; hell, the most common form of long-range standoff munition used to target Ukrainian infrastructure is an Iranian-designed Shahed drone. Now, are the Iranians as sophisticated as the Russians? No. But will a ground action result in grainy videos of Americans being hit by FPV drones? Almost certainly. Could the deployment of ground forces to the Gulf be a feint? Sure, it could be, but this point extends beyond Iran. The U.S. needs to be ready to counter the drone menace. I won’t pretend to know the inner machinations of the Joint Chiefs, the White House, or President Trump, but with the destruction of an E-3 Sentry on the runway, it has become absolutely clear the U.S. armed forces have not scaled their ability to handle drones. I don’t know what the answer here is, but I haven’t seen this point brought up at the frequency it deserves. It needs to be said. Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough... to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. The LIV Golf League has made major changes to... the format of the Team Championship, including a preliminary round to be played on Wednesday between teams ranked 12 and 13 in the season long standings. There will also be no byes for top seeded teams. The losing team from the preliminary round will be fully eliminated and will take no further part in the competition. On Friday, there will be 6 quarter finals matches, where all 12 remaining teams will face off in head to head match play. The captains of the top seeded teams have the opportunity to choose their opponents as in previous years. The format is also the same, with 2 singles matches and 1 foursomes match, with 2 points needed to advance. On Saturday, all 12 teams will be divided into 2 brackets. The Championship Bracket, with the winning teams from Friday, and the Rankings Bracket, with the 6 teams who lost. Once again, seeded team captains can select who they play against and the format remains 2 singles matches and 1 foursomes. On Sunday, a champion will be decided and they revert back to the standard team format of the regular season, individual strokeplay with all 4 scores counting towards the team total. The 3 winning teams from the Championship Bracket will face off for the championship rings and the remaining 9 teams will play in their Rankings Brackets for minor places. Ripper GC, captained by Cam Smith will be looking to defend the title they won last season. The previous winners are Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC and Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces GC. Has been a while since I've given an update... so here's a breakdown of where Sappy is at right now and what we're focusing on going into this year. Pre-amble: With altcoins & NFTs the market is definitely not the same as it was before. I think this is obvious to everyone but I've noticed there are still japanese soldiers that are convinced old tricks and mechanics work. They don't. Liquidity is thin; people want to bid assets that feel like "real companies" not vacuous memecoins. There's still room for memecoins, social currencies, and "utility tokens" (I would say without these functions, tokens are hard to justify versus equities). I'm not part of the camp that thinks there will never be hyperspeculation in crypto again, because there will be; we all love ponzis and PvPing each other onchain. Just not with solved games -- people need something new and fresh. So the overarching plan is to continue building for users, sustainable revenues that aren't tied to directly to crypto, and doubling down on the areas that we've already found PMF / Brand Market Fit. Then leaning into crypto during cyclical periods where liquidity is sloshing around at an accelerated rate. Where we've found early PMF / what we're leaning into: Roblox: we're going to continue to go hard and accelerate here. It's our main objective to ship more seal/brainrot focused games across most genres to cast as wide of a net as we can for the brand, and to also iterate and see what works and stays sticky. Our initial incursion into Roblox was very successful peaking at 2M+ MAU and still sustaining a large portion of that player base... for all of its success, that was a relatively amateur first attempt; we've been setting up better AI pipelines for Roblox development that makes it reasonable to ship many more games and 10x those player counts in totality. It's my belief that Roblox is the sandbox whose audience will be the most valuable on the internet once they are grown up. That intense feeling you get when you see a TikTok referencing an old game you enjoyed on the PS2 or the Gamecube, or when you see a Pokemon card is the exact same feeling the youth of today will get when reminiscing on the things they enjoyed engaging with when they were younger. Fortnite and Roblox are functional equivalents to the old school consoles and exactly where that is taking place. Which is why as much as I care about scaling revenues through Roblox, the long term brand equity gained purely through being popular on the platform is totally invaluable. It also can heavily convert to merchandise sales today if all touchpoints for the brand are dialed in (which is why brands get overcharged so much by Roblox dev shops for the same ROI that only cost us a few thousand $). We have the playbook, it's just about iterating new concepts and then aggressively scaling. Brand Expansion & Merchandising: I've started to create a content pipeline that is easily repeatable, cost efficient (costs next to nothing through either AI or smart reusable concepts), while still being very tasteful and meeting our quality standards for the brand. We are mostly focusing here on reaching people where they're at through nostalgic/emotional content, or just being visually stimulating through carefully curated aesthetics. Content that isn't superficial and touches people in a memorable way. I've attached some examples to the post so you can see what I mean rather than just read it. I don't think it's long until larger brands start doing this at scale, but it's always good to be ahead of the curve and most importantly winning on taste -- knowing what will resonate with people and what won't has always been our edge. The purpose for these accounts is not only to rack up attention but also to begin converting those into sales of both of physicals (plushies & gacha collectibles) and digital avenues like our games, and any other apps we produce. Because they're offshoot accounts it's also a lot easier to be aggressive/experimental with said conversion strategies. Sappy Studio: I'm wrapping everything like Omnia, and everything else into this category because they're all tangentially related. Beginning with Omnia, our current focus is gearing up for Season 0 which involves players competing in the ranked ladder for a prize pool that has rewards through Monad Momentum as well as a player-funded prize pool. This season will be fairly simple with us mostly logging retention, deck building habits, as well as qualitatively observing how aggressively players push the combat system. Deeper monetization wont exist yet outside of the player buy-in (to be eligible for P2E rewards). Beyond that our overarching principle this year is to focus heavily on risk-to-earn mechanics where a portion of that excess value is circular i.e. revenues flow back to prize pools or other parts of the economy, treating the game almost like a protocol where the objective is to amass TVL or player liquidity. Social is also a big focus, and that means implementing the Open World hub which from an infrastructure perspective has already been built out and tested by all of you previously. Right now we are scaffolding the environment in 3D and working through how that hub should look and feel, so players are excited to hang out & idle together while they're queuing. For sappydotlol, what I'm about to say is still early days from a design perspective so a lot can change, but I'm pushing the site in the direction of being a virtual game console. An intersection between Nintendo & Myspace where users can play, trade, and socially interact in a way that's deeply personalised; a breathe of fresh air from the hostility of the current internet. If you go back to my thesis on Roblox above and the game console references, you can kind of see how this will all sequentially tie together. In essence, the strategy is to acquire a critical mass of players through traditional platforms like Roblox, and use that attention and trust to provide an onboarding funnel for web2 users into our own sandbox filled with a mixture of our own browser-based experiences as well as an aggregation of others. The aim is to make the platform a breath of fresh air & bunker from the enshittified platforms like TikTok/IG/X where users are actually served in ways that delight rather than agitate, and where self-expression is incentivised. Closing: As always everything here is subject to change but I've never felt more conviction in our direction until now; I know exactly what we need to do and how, with everything aligning with our team's strengths. Very excited and grinding through things to the point where I'm getting headaches and can't sleep from being hyperfocused for long periods of time lol.
