Our leaders do not fall from the sky; they come from our communities. What we are seeing here is no different from a leader who loots public funds. Public funds are meant for the public good. When ZANUPF loots national resources, it is not different from the Zimbabwean citizen who goes to an interchange and steals cables. Both acts are theft, both are sabotage of the common good, and both expose a destructive mindset that holds the whole nation back. It is exactly the same behaviour that South Africans have been complaining about us for years, when some Zimbabweans vandalise public infrastructure and steal cables across the Limpopo. We are quick to call that xenophobia, but what then do we call it when we are destroying our own country with the same reckless disregard? We all know that in Zimbabwean homes, from the poor to the affluent, there are lithium batteries stolen from mobile phone towers in South Africa and sold cheaply in Zimbabwe. When South Africans complain about this, we dismiss them as being xenophobic. Here is an example of us doing the same thing in our own country. We are destroying and stealing from ourselves. When the lights fail, the interchange will be plunged into darkness, and people will be mugged and killed because there is no lighting. This is wrong. A 17 yr-old teen, Jonathan Lewis Jr, was beaten... to death by a mob of black teens near Rancho High School in Vegas. The teen was attempting to help his ‘younger friend after being bullied’ when he was then attacked by the whole gang. Jonathan was found bleeding from his head, and taken to UMC where he was put on life-support. He died this past week. Lewis Jr’s dad said he was a great, caring young man, and was planning to join the military at 18. No one has been arrested. Didn’t hear about this story in the media, huh?show more

The driver of the Jeep, Riley Rhoades, was arrested at the scene for driving drunk. Brown was reportedly thrown from the car after Rhoades crashed into a Tesla. New York mother & son arrested for trying to... flee the country following a street racing crash that left one person deceased. Vilma Vneshta & son Alvi Limani were detained in Miami while trying to leave the country after Limani was charged with aggravated manslaught*r. According to Middlesex County Prosecutors’ Office, Limani and a friend were street racing when the BMW M5 hit two cars and rolled over. Two passengers in the car with Limani were thrown out of the vehicle. 20-year-old Albion Hysenaj was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The other passenger, who was thrown, survived. Limani fled the scene with 19-year-old Emily Harrington, according to prosecutors. A 28-year-old man has died in custody after being... subjected to torture following his arrest by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz, rights groups reported. Hossein Ghavi was arrested at his workplace, a tea stall, in March on accusations including filming bombed areas and contact with foreign media, US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) and rights group Karun reported on Saturday. Ghavi was tortured during detention and later died in custody, according to the reports. They have been browsing side by side this week, walking the same routes through Tsavo. Our Keepers can tell the difference, but to anyone else, we suspect it's impossible to tell who grew up in the wild and who was rescued from the Maasai Mara in 2014. After more than a decade in our care, lots of sleepless nights, fingers suckled on and many many bottles of milk, Olsekki has been accepted into the wild herds around him. A woman died and her husband was injured in... a hit-and-run incident in #Mumbai's #Worli when a BMW car rammed their scooter early on Sunday. I’d strongly urge the automobile industry to make dashcams... a standard safety feature in all vehicles. Too often, we see hit-and-run cases where the culprits flee without accountability. A dashcam isn’t just a gadget it’s a necessity for our own safety, protection, and proof in such situations. Chandigarh was much better back when challans were issued manually people actually feared breaking the rules. But now, most of the reckless driving you see is by outsiders. You’ll rarely find a CH-number car in such incidents; it’s usually PB, HR, or DL plates. Just imagine how many lives can be put at risk in mere seconds because of such behaviour. We were travelling in our Nexon EV in the designated direction when a biker [TG15G3780], riding without a helmet and carrying a pillion rider, suddenly came in front of our car from the wrong direction. We asked him to follow traffic rules and turn back, but instead of listening, he started arguing with us. This happened on a busy highway connecting Hyderabad to Mumbai, with heavy traffic at the time. Later, a traffic police officer arrived at the spot, but even then, the biker refused to accept his mistake and continued arguing with the officer as well.
