We can't quite believe it, but we've never posted... an FX Animation Breakdown before! There's been such amazing FX work done on so many of our projects, we're definitely going to show you more of how it's done. This film in particular was so FX heavy, we had to highlight the crazy work that went into it. You all know we love an action sequence. But for this one, we took a pretty different approach than we usually do! The entire thing was rendered through FX animation. The animator did their rough and tie-downs but instead of going into clean-up and BG paint, the FX team rendered the characters as well as animated the background FX (which is a super rare thing to do!). The result is this abstract representation of two magnificent powers colliding in an epic battle!!! no but beomgyu really suits a mystery show so... well i’m so happy he got to be a part of one 🥹 people usually know him for his loud/playful self (and we LOVE that), but also one of my favorite things about him is how incredibly smart and reliable he is whenever strategy or deduction is involved and that’s so attractive. he’s really observant, asks such clever and thoughtful questions (like we saw in the pixid impostor game), notices details that others might miss, and knows how to read the room. and i remember how he even would go viral in shows like sumbakkokjil or to-do’s better watch out because of how calm, reserved, and strategic he was. he REALLY locks in and i love getting seeing this more analytical side of him. i’m really looking forward to seeing more people appreciate this side of him too 🥹show more

Seeing all of the little details really come together... is one of those very special and magical moments of video game creation. I love how this cinematic shot from No Rest for the Wicked's opening really came to life with beautiful stylized hand crafted hair and facial animation, striking visual effects with fluid simulation, beautiful set, ship sails flapping against the wind animated by our custom made cloth solver, painterly golden rim lighting and all of this running in our custom Moonity engine in real-time. And of course there's so much more with our story, sound and music for you all to experience! I think we've both been inspired by each other's work and dedication to exploring all the ways we can push these tools to their limits for VFX and animation. We didn't want to force a collaboration, but recently, Jboogx was inspired by the work I've been doing and how I incorporate myself into my animations. This idea is a playful take on 'Atlas carrying the boulder,' but with a twist—let's make Atlas out of spaghetti and the boulder a meatball, to fit more with what Jboogx has been doing on the food side of things lately (shoutout to our good friend James Gerde -@gerdegotit @gerdedoesit @gerdemadeit, who did the first spaghetti animation). The tweet contained the official heights of some Brawlers. Luckily after seeing the post from the person who noticed this, I remembered that Brawl Stars used to have a bunch of separate Twitter accounts for different languages. And as it turns out, the tweet was never deleted from those accounts! The link will be posted below! 👀 Why do you think it was removed? Personally, I think they deleted that tweet because some of the information in it doesn't really make much sense. For example, Ruffs shouldn't be that much bigger than Sprout, and Surge is shown as being so much smaller than Kaiju. Based on Surge's release animation, that doesn't seem to be the case in the lore. So it's possible that the height chart was inaccurate or no longer reflected the developers' intended scale for the characters.show more

After 50 hours, God of war Sons of Sparta... Platinum 100% is done! Full thoughts: - The game gets better and better the more you play - Boss fights where awesome - Fun to see Kratos as a kid but also wish you could play sections in 2D as the adult - OST is incredible - From a Metroivania point of view it's decent, it's not the best but also not the worst - From a god of war perspectively it's definitely better, it has a lot of old school stuff - Side stuff where ok, mostly not needed - I really like the art style, playstation definitely needs more different art styles Basically there are 2 sides here, if you're a god of war fan then obviously this is a must play since it adds to the lore, story and pure fun. So that way worth asking price However if you're a Metroivania super fan or casual GOW fan then better to wait for a sale if you want to play it. Either way, it's a fun game and Sony needs imo more of these "smaller" scale games.show more

Honestly, I never expected Jake to get an intro... or solo part during their performances because I’d been disappointed so many times before 😅 But in the past few award shows, he’s finally been given those opportunities ++ He used to be placed on the side or at the back, and now he’s even the center during dance breaks. It really makes me emotional. Jungwon once said that Jake was praised for how much his dancing has improved, and I can truly feel that. The whole process of putting together the "I hate... cowboys" record and the "go down singin'" record was a long two years of figuring out how do something I've never done before. All the songs were written on guitar and a depth I haven't really hit before. This is the final piece of that puzzle. "The fireside sessions" are both those albums together, all acoustic, featuring the songwriters from both those records. This time in my career ends with both album covers together with me and my dad standing next to each other. It's the first time I've ever been able to see a picture of us as two grown men. I'm moving on to another album early next year, but I hope y'all love these versions of the songs, as they were written.
