since you guys really want Vertical Tabs. I built... an OpenCode Desktop Extensions SDK I built a quick vertical tabs, and subway surfers extension. Live enable, disable, install etc. Checkout the repo, the README is pretty self-explanatory lol. Use at your own risk. Build something fun, I'm curious to see what ideas you all will have?show more

I always wondered "What if I port my three.js... game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!show more

Making a camera was way harder than I thought.... Here's what I learned: If you want smart phone level camera, you can't just buy a smartphone camera component That's because cameras talk to a special chip (ISP) that does all kinds of magic There's special image software too, and you can't do it yourself, so it's gonna cost you $100-250k for that software that does tuning, HDR, MFNR, etc. Takes months to implement properly Then it's even worse if you want to livestream. Since you can't do the processing after the fact, you've gotta make all that special software run realtime on a resource constrained processor You also gotta realize our hands and heads aren't stable at all. The video is shaky until you do electronic image stabilization (EIS) If you don't do every single one of these right, then you'll have potato-quality video After all this work, we've now got something really good, and I'm amped to ship Mentra Live smart glasses because it's a smart phone quality camera that sees what you see, live streams anywhere, and has an open-source SDK you can build apps with.show more

if you have been following me for some time..... you probably have seen my body, great angles, large numbers by my posts.. and as much as i am proud of my journey and the realizations i have had.. i am also super aware of how my content could have been perceived during my journey. i wasn't aware of it in the moment.. but now i really see myself differently. growth is making peace with what you didn't know. it's the vulnerability to admit you didn't know better, and the grace to forgive yourself for it. there is no sense trying to spend your heart beats that you won't get back.. regretting what you did, what you said, what you didn't say, how you didn't take action, etc. what matters now..is how you choose to move. how fast you take action, how fast you are able to see yourself in a different lens, how quickly you are able to self correct. being able to redirect yourself in your own life in my opinion is one of the most powerful tools we have to live better.. and to live truly authentic to who we really are. ps post yourself in the bikini because i will from time to time.. but it will be from a different place. 🤍 #intentionalliving #mindsetshift #quietpower #authenticgrowth #womeninbusinessshow more

I'M LOOKING FOR A TECHNICAL PARTNER I'm looking for... a coding wizard to help me build software (and to bounce ideas with). The deal is simple: you build / I distribute You do all technical work. I do all marketing, distribution, customer research. What I bring to the table: • deep expertise in social media marketing/distribution/email marketing/copywriting • total audience of 160k + 42k newsletter (that's a lot of eyeballs ready to see what we build) • big network of creators we can use to co-market • experience building media companies from scratch • sold over 7 figs worth of products to an audience before I deeply care about product so I'll be involved in everything but the coding side. I will document our journey with build in public content (X, LinkedIn, YouTube). You don't need to be part of the content if you don't want to, I'll gladly be the dancing monkey. What I AM looking for: • Full stack (at least to certain extent to get decent MVPs out there) • high agency, high creativity and product sense< • you've made money with your software before • a love for cash-flow • you love homemade goulash as much as I do (well, this one is not set in stone) • someone to share shitposts and memes with (you can't compete with someone who's having fun, I deeply believe this) • someone who is obsessed with building something that people LOVE instead of just use • someone who wants to build something to be really proud of What I'm NOT looking for: • ideas that need VC funding to get started • 2 years of building before we see a dollar • someone who started coding 12 months ago • someone running 3 other side projects • someone addicted to call-culture I'm not 100% certain on the idea yet. We'll figure this out together by testing demand with an audience. We'll probably test a few ideas quickly before going all-in on whatever gets the best signal from the market. Areas I find interesting right now: • AI enhanced-B2B content/GTM/marketing tools • Financial market analytics/consumer finance • Gamified health/longevity apps (probably mobile) Building and creativity is a way of life for me. It goes far beyond the money-creation part of work. I love bringing things into the world. Best case it's similar for you. We'll shoot the shit a lot, send memes, and have fun while working hard on whatever we build. There's also an option to do this on a salary instead of a split I'm open to both. Answer a few quick questions in the form below (next post) I will reach out to people that seem like a good fit. Please tag people who might be interested. RT for visibility so your coding genius friends can build something awesome with me!show more

Something just launched that makes VS Code feel ancient.... And im all in for it: Cline Desktop app, an open-source app for open-weight models (and you know how much i love open source) brings its coding agent into a standalone Cline Desktop app for Mac + Windows. Just open a project and tell it what you want to change. No need to open VS Code first. In Cline's demo, it adds priority filters to a task board, works through the code and runs the build. Glad to see the model choice stays open, too. You can bring your own API keys, use supported open-weight models and even switch models halfway through a project!show more

I updated the website! Take a look at all... the categories and art that @DollyJKazoo designed! It was so cool being able to make art for all of the products we have. The collections have grown so much over the years that we just needed to do a makeover so we can fit all of our items on the home page and make it look more pretty~ Also a sneak peek of our mascot Baby Finn the Giraffe making a comeback! Lastly, I realized after I recorded this, so the tabs at the bottom will only be available on the website if you want to have an easier log-in experience. Which the app is available on Apple and Android. Just search “Lil Comforts” on your appstore!show more

A quick message to all the Bertie’s saying “we... will have our memories” Yes you do, a lot of rival fans also have memories of being beaten in cup games and season defining games by a team that basically shouldn’t have existed. Every visiting fan to your stadium, every home fan when you visit their ground is going to have an absolute field day aimed at you and your hollow success. The premier league fan base will unite in making your life’s an absolute misery and it will be BIBLICAL. I personally couldn’t care less what happens to you from this point forward, the whole world know what you did and what you are. Enjoy your “memories”show more

Kyle Fowler, who makes $1.5M/year from two apps he... built around his own hobbies, says solving your own problem means you've already won whether anyone pays for it or not... "If you can solve a problem for yourself, the odds are that other people have that problem. Now, will they maybe pay for it? Like, I don't know." "Either way, if you build an app for something you're passionate about and solves your problem, you've won no matter what. Because you've solved your problem." "I've just always wanted to work for myself doing something I love. And what better way than solving your own problems to do that?"show more

Lol bro quit the emotional blackmailing. I only used... your logic on you. I never said anything that can affect your business negatively nor did I say people should stop patronising you. Just like you said Bruno's work is quantity, your own work is quantity too. Bruno Fernandes is not a fictional character for you to criticise his output and expect your own output not to be touched the same. What is good for Greece is good for Uganda as well. Use your home training to delete all the nasty things you have said about Bruno over the years then we can have a talk.show more

Sharing my new skill! It keeps track of high-signal... X accounts for top AI news, papers, projects, etc. Total gamechanger for me. Built with X MCP tools. Give your agent the skill and tell it to generate the artifact with top stories. Works for Codex, Claude, Hermes, OpenClaw, or whatever you use. 3 steps: 1. Set up X MCP - X API: 2. Install skill here: 3. Run prompt: "Use the x-agent-intelligence skill to build a self-contained local feed from my X MCP connection; ask for my source handles if needed, save feed.html, and validate it." It should generate a nice, beautiful HTML artifact like the one shown in the clip. You can tune it however you want. You can then set a schedule/automation to do this daily or whatever cadence you prefer. I have it every 4 hours. You will need to curate the X accounts yourself, but I have shared a few good ones under the assets. You can ask your agent to tune it to however you like. I have also shared my personal feed with our community here: I understand if it gets tricky to set up. Please reach out to me in the community forum. I plan to do a little tutorial or live session soon to help others reproduce the process. You can also store the feed as a wiki, as I have in my own implementation, but that's optional. If you encounter any issues or have ideas on how to improve it, please open a PR.show more

I'm laying in my tent reflecting on my life... right now..and I have to say, some would say my life situation of being homeless is a sad thing .. because you see people out there who are addicts and in bad situations .. but mine isn't anything like that. Although I havent had a home in 10 years, I see and feel the blessing. I'm so free in life to live how I want in life. Sure while sometimes I desire a bed to come home too.. I get to have a bed anywhere in life I want. I'm so free to live and explore as I please with nothing to tie me down. If I could share any piece of advice, it is simple do not trade your freedom of life for the chains of society and what they deem how YOU should live. I promise in this day and age you can be so free and make money without anyone there to tell you when to clock in, when to eat lunch, when you can use the bathroom, none of that! I hope you all find the bliss I feel in life someday.show more
