The Israeli Air Force bombed an underground weapons facility... in western Iran today, IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin reveals in a press conference. According to the IDF, the site was used by Iran to store dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as launch them. IAF fighter jets struck the underground site along with launchers. Gaza City this week in five main waves, as part of preparations for an upcoming major ground offensive against Hamas in the area, the military says. The first three waves focused on Gaza City's Daraj, Tuffah, and Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods. In recent days, the IDF says it expanded its strikes to the Shati camp and additional areas in Sheikh Radwan. The strikes have destroyed several high-rise towers that the IDF says were being used by Hamas for surveillance, as sniper posts, to store weapons, and some of which had tunnels running underneath them. Among those killed in the strikes was a Hamas terrorist who infiltrated the Re'im military base during the October 7, 2023, onslaught, according to the IDF. The military says the strikes targeting terror operatives in northern Gaza, Gaza City, and Khan Younis came after five Palestinian gunmen emerged from a tunneland approached troops on the Israeli side of the ceasefire line last night. The targeted terror operatives "had recently been working to restore the capabilities of the terror organizations in the Strip and were advancing terror attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel," the IDF says. One of the strikes killed Ahmad Bayouk, who the IDF says raided the Re'im military base on October 7. Meanwhile, the IDF also announces that a strike on Monday, in response to an attack by gunmen on troops in southern Gaza's Rafah a day prior, killed a Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander. Azem Abu Huli, who headed Islamic Jihad's elite forces in the Strip's center, was responsible for supplying weapons to other terror operatives, as well as advancing attacks against troops, the army says. The tunnel, according to the military, was some 30 meters deep underground. The IDF publishes a video showing the demolition of the tunnel. Also during the operations in Khan Younis, the IDF says the troops spotted a cell of three operatives moving explosive devices to plant them. The forces called in a drone strike, killing the three operatives, the IDF adds, publishing a video of the incident. They murdered her in front of her sons, Negev (4) and Eshel (4.5 months), and booby-trapped her body in case anyone tried to move it. Six terrorists then broke into Avital Aladjem’s house next door, where she was hiding with another neighbor, US citizen Hayim Katzman (32). The terrorists murdered Hayim and took Avital hostage, and used her, Negev, and Eshel as human shields as they walked through the kibbutz, setting houses and cars on fire. The terrorists then forced Avital to walk to Gaza carrying Eshel while one of the terrorists carried Negev, who had been shot in the leg. For some inexplicable reason, after crossing the Gaza border, the terrorists abandoned them, and Avital managed to make her way back to Holit with the children, hiding from terrorists along the way. There, she reunited the children with their father, and they were evacuated to safety. Hamas tried to exploit the Vital-Kaploun children to promote a blatantly false “humanitarian” narrative. They shared a propaganda video of the two traumatized children being “cared for” by Hamas terrorists, after their mother had been murdered in front of them and before they were kidnapped. Hamas also tried to exploit a video of Avital and the children making their way back from Gaza, claiming they freed a mother and her children out of the goodness of their hearts. In reality, they murdered the children’s mother in front of them and kidnapped the children with their neighbor, and likely abandoned them after getting tired of carrying the screaming children.show more

The IDF officially confirms that the commander of Hamas's... Following an increase in attacks from Palestinian armed groups,... the IDF has announced a new, large-scale military operation in the northern part of the West Bank. Israeli forces have been deployed to the cities of Tubas and Qabatiya, where they are carrying out operations aimed at arresting Palestinian militants from local armed groups affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas. Earlier, clashes took place in the village of Marka, near the city of Jenin, as well as in Balata Refugee Camp in the city of Nablus, during which two militants were killed by Israeli soldiers. The IDF already effectively occupies the cities of Tulkarm and Jenin following their earlier military operation which began in January 2025, which largely forced Palestinian armed groups across the northern West Bank to scatter to the surrounding towns and villages. Omer Neutra, 22, commanding three 19-year-old soldiers: Cpl. Nimrod Cohen as gunner, Sgt. Oz Daniel as radio operator-loader, and Sgt. Shaked Dahan as driver. The team was positioned in the south near Nir Oz, and on October 7, they immediately mobilized to defend their sector. However, their tank suffered a critical malfunction, reportedly a brake failure, leaving them vulnerable. Hamas terrorists attacked their tank with RPGs and explosive devices. Omer, Oz, and Shaked were all killed in the assault, and their bodies were taken to Gaza, while Nimrod was abducted alive to the Strip. Footage of Gazans standing around the burning tank, celebrating, and dragging Nimrod from inside became some of the most haunting images for Israelis in the wake of October 7. Dahan’s remains were recovered from Gaza by the IDF in August 2024, and Nimrod was freed from Hamas captivity last week after two years.
