Spent a fantastic two days at the Circuito de... Navarra in Spain. Mostly dry and a great technical circuit. I was driving a McLaren 720s GT3 Evo with Garage59. It was great to be back with a team that I have a strong history with. I was rusty to start, it’s been a few years out of a GT3 but very happy with where we ended up after two days of testing. I had to hang up most of my engineering brain and focus on driving - and loved every second. More to follow 👀show more

Some of my storyboards from the opening of The... Wild Robot. I liked the idea of the first shot in the film (after the pull-out from her eye) being Roz in a fetal position for "The Robot Hatches." But the idea got lost as it went through the production pipeline. I ended up using some stock photography and videos for some of the water in this scene. I think because the environment was such a character for us in these opening scenes. The photography seemed to help me to sell the contrast between Roz and the wilderness.show more

Memory popped up on my phone. From 2017, from... when I was over in vegas with Carl Frampton MBE in camp with him preparing for his rematch with Leo Santa Cruz . We used and based ourselves self in @porterhyperformance gym for the camp. Here is where i got to have 3 fantastic sparring sessions with ShowtimeShawn Porter . It was great sparring and great experience for a young hungry prospect to share the ring with a world champion to prepare me for my own fight on the undercard. Since v14, FSD has this weird obsession with moving... from the inner lane to the outer lane during a left turn. For me, it happens on every two-lane left turn. And it does it in a very jerky, dangerous way — even if it means cutting in front of another car, FSD will still insist on doing it. Is this because FSD is more afraid of hitting the curb at the corner than of getting rear-ended by someone else? This really feels like a serious bug to me. I’m not sure whether it’s because the model is overfitted to avoid curbs during turns, or because it was trained to always end up in the rightmost lane after a left turn. I honestly don’t know, but I really hope this gets fixed soon.show more

It’s not mentioned in the #DELTARUNE newsletter because I... forgot, but I programmed the full Shadowmantle battle and was responsible for balancing and integrating all the minigames for the Tenna battle. I also spent significant time collaborating with Toby and Alexmdle on assembling the Hammer of Justice battle. That one took a long time.
