splat troubleshooting guide: If you ever export a splat... from NerfStudio that's transparent, let it train for another 1000 steps what's happening is the alphas get reset every 3k steps, so here when i exported at 12k steps, it was right when the alphas reset, hence the transparency. you can adjust the reset frequency with reset_every: int = 3000 this might've been obvious to some, but I was confused by it last night and found no discussions/explanation about it online. so posting it here to help othersshow more

“Before prepping for an interview with you, I do... read other interviews you've done, and it caught my attention that in some you say you've learned how to lose, and in others you say when you lose it's better not to get anywhere near you. When I say the interview with Vlad was completely... impromptu and off the cuff, it was. 007 stealth mission, right place & right time. For context, Vlad said no to every media company except for CNBC and maybe one other for interviews, no matter how big or how prominent. We tried talking to the comms guys before, but it was not going to happen for us. Here's how we made it happen... I walked up to Vlad after he was speaking to the NASCAR driver whose car was on the floor at the summit, and I had my producer with me and I saw him take a selfie with another attendee, and so I knew it was my opportunity to get the interview in. I walked up to Vlad, and I go, "Hey Vlad, can I have a picture as you hear in the video below?" The first thing he says back is, "Oh, hey, you're Andy, right from The Rollup?" I just laughed a little bit, and I think said something like, "Man, I really appreciate y'all being here, and you guys are crushing it." That's when I was like, "Hey Vlad, can I ask you some questions real quick?" and he was like, "Sure man" and then we got straight into it with the first question about tokenization. Honestly a hilarious moment. I just wanted to get some words from Vlad about Robinhood, chain, and tokenization because we didn't hear much about digital assets and DeFi in the keynote or at all during the summit. I know you guys were a bit concerned or curious as to what his takes were. Be more bullish. Tokenization supercycle is in the early innings. Higher. Vlad Tenev Robinhood The Rollupshow more
