SUCCESS!! I managed to patch the boot image on... my bootloader unlocked Quest 1 and got 90 Hz on the Quest 1, I am probably the first person outside of Oculus/Meta to have this. Surprisingly, it runs pretty good on games like Beat Saber, I just used a WebXR demo for the FPS.show more

Not sure if this is old news, but I... just discovered that in the Meta Quest browser you can longpress any image on any website and turn it into a 3D photo in a couple of seconds. I love it! Now I wish every image online worked like this by default.show more

So I have been trying to do my own... take on the 4-2-1-3. but it is not for my play style. Will try some more, later on. For now I ended up with a 5-2-1-2 that I like a lot. And it’s surprisingly good against the 4-2-1-3. Anyone wants to test? 🔥🏴‍☠️show more

Today I vibe coded an AR game entirely within... my Meta Quest 3, using Gemini 3. The holodeck is real! Just go to in the Meta browser, toggle canvas, and ask (via voice) for a WebXR app. Getting scene geometry took a few tries, but it basically just works.show more

As you guys probably know I have officialy quit... fortnite since 1-2 months ago. I just didn’t feel like I had it in me to compete anymore, and I think I put alot of my pressure on myself to get good results, which in the end just led to huge dissapointments for me. I probably didn’t ever have the achievements I wanted, but the people I met and the experiences I made along the way are priceless. I have now applied to study psychology (which I hopefully get into this summer🤞) and then chose to solo travel Nepal and hike. What comes in the future is still unknown for me, but I am very happy to be where I am, and lifes good. I will obviously still follow up on how my boys are doing, and the fortnite scene in general but won’t be playing Till next time❤️show more

💬 As Meguro-san continue to take on challenges abroad,... do you feel like you've changed at all on the inside these past 1-2 years? 🖤: Surprisingly, I feel like I haven't really changed. Just like before, I still want to be someone who never loses the drive to keep challenging myself, so I feel that my inner self stayed pretty much the same and I have continued to challenge myself as I always have.show more

I have a little robot that unlocks my door... from the inside (so I don't have to carry a key) The problem was it wouldn't calibrate on my door. It was designed for 90° turns, but my lock only needs 15° In the past, this would've been a showstopper But I asked AI if it could help... At first, it suggested I snoop on the bluetooth connection to figure out the protocol Then it realized that we could probably just decompile the app's SDK and read its source code. That worked! It told me to switch to my mac and run some python for it. Unfortunately, it couldn't run the scripts directly because Claude Code Desktop didn't have bluetooth permissions, but my shell did. Thinking about it now, I probably should've used Claude Code or Codex in the Terminal. Anyways, it took a while, lots of backs and forths, we had some misunderstandings, it was massively overcautious in the beginning, but we finally got the lock calibrated! Feels like magic! I threw the repo up on github in case anyone in the future (ie me) runs into a similar issue – hopefully it can save them some timeshow more
