China's 6th gen J-50 fighter took another test flight.... 6th gen fighters themselves are an order of magnitude more stealthy than 5th gen fighters. On top of that, they are stealthy against every type of radar. 6th gen air combat is built on top of these fighters, which revolves around a network-centric web, including collaborative wingman drones and other platforms. The wingman drones are just as stealthy, and are able to carry missiles data-linked to the manned fighters. So essentially, entire squadrons of 6th gen fighters with several support drones each can fly over enemy air space, unleash precision destruction. And the enemy won't even know what hit them. This is not only a strategic deterrence, but also gives the operator of 6th gen fighters plausible deniability, when conducting clandestine warfare against an enemy state. I won't name any names, but let's just say an ally Southwest of China is under attack by a larger neighbor, the PLA air force can provide air superiority and ground strike supports using 6th gen fighters. That aggressive enemy will only feel the destruction but not know who or what hit them.show more

While Ethiopia provides 🇪🇹 a rear base for the... RSF fighting Sudan 🇸🇩, Khartoum, for its part, provides a rear base for the Tigrayan rebels fighting Addis Ababa. The Tigray People Liberation Forces Army 70 is based in Al Fao (located by Dinlas), fought in the battle of Khartoum and is training Tigrean recruits to launch an offensive on Welkait, a disputed region in north-western Ethiopia, between Amhara and Tigray. This force could be composed of more than 5 000 men ready to attack Ethiopia. -> The relationship between Sudan and Ethiopia cannot be understood without knowing about these two bases that are acting as a destabilization mean from abroad...show more

Situation on Aleppo, Raqqa & Hasakah [2/2/2026]: On 30... January, a definitive ceasefire was agreed following an agreement reached between the Syrian Transitional Government & the Syrian Democratic Forces for the gradual political and military integration of the SDF. Among the points agreed upon, it is worth noting the limited deployment of MOI forces on the "line of separation" between the SDF/YPG and the STG, which have withdrawn from much of the front line. There will also be a limited deployment of the MOI in the cities of Qamishli, Hasakah and Kobani, as well as at the Sweidiyeh oil wells and border posts. In exchange, the SDF will create four positions that will be incorporated into the Damascus military apparatus, both directly and indirectly, as well as decision-making powers for the SDF in the governorate of Hasakah, which could be considered a form of autonomy alongside the rights promised to the Kurds two weeks ago. During the early afternoon of today, MOI forces began their coordinated deployment with Asayish forces in Hasakah and Kobani for the time being.show more

🇦🇲🇮🇳According to Armenian and Indian sources, the two countries... have reached an agreement under which Armenia will purchase 8–12 Su-30MKI multi-role fighters from India. The contract value will be up to $3 billion and will include pilot and technical-personnel training as well as the supply of necessary combat materiel. Su-30MKI fighters are produced in India under license, with 70–80% of their components — including aerodynamic structures, avionics, and other systems — manufactured domestically in India. Although the fighters use Russian engines, their technical maintenance and assembly can already be carried out in India, and a program is underway to replace the baseline Russian passive radar with Indian-made active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars. In summary: Armenia is seeking to balance Azerbaijan’s acquisition of Pakistan-supplied JF-17 Block III aircraft. At present, the Indian Su-30MKI appears to be the best option for Armenia because these aircraft are already in Indian service and would not require years of waiting (deliveries are planned for 2026–2027). Armenia also has experience operating Russian Su-30SMs and, importantly, would reduce its future dependence on Russia for maintenance, ammunition, and other services.show more

❗️🇺🇦🇸🇪 The first Gripen C/D fighter jets are scheduled... to be delivered to Ukraine in December-January. Although the C/D versions are technically inferior to the newer E model — primarily due to the absence of an AESA radar — they have undergone significant modernization between 2014 and 2016. These aircraft are capable of carrying and launching Meteor long-range air-to-air missiles. The missiles can be fired in silent mode, with mid-course guidance updates provided by Swedish Saab 340 AEW&C airborne early warning and control aircraft, which are also expected to be transferred to Ukraine in the near future. This combination will create a serious threat to Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers and Su-35 fighters, which are currently actively using guided aerial bombs from beyond the reach of Ukrainian air defenses. The integration of Gripen C/D fighters with Meteor missiles and Saab 340 AWACS aircraft represents a highly effective and relatively rapid solution for Ukraine. This system will allow Ukrainian forces to challenge Russian aviation in the operational-tactical depth, potentially forcing Russian aircraft to operate much farther from the front line and significantly reducing the effectiveness of their glide bomb attacks. The war in #Sudan 🇸🇩 is still going on,... hundred thousands of soldiers are fighting on each side for the control of the country. The fightings are now occuring in the central part of the country, in the Kordofan region. On one side, the Rapid Support Forces, sponsored by the UAE are trying to consolidate their parralel government in Nyala with key victories. The RSF occupy western Sudan, especially the Darfour region. They are supported by the UAE, Chad, South Sudan, Libya, CAR and Wagner/AC 🇦🇪🇹🇩🇸🇸🇱🇾🇨🇫🇷🇺. Their leader is Mohammed Hamdan Dagolo 'Hemetti'. They are Bagarra arabs, opposing black communities in the west and the Nile river tribes controlling the government. They managed to occupy En Nahud, a key road hub in west Kordofan region, they are now trying to take Babanusa, they failed for now to destroy the encircled garrison. RSF forces resist SAF progress in the Kordofan regions, especially around El Obeid, key supply road and supply hub for the army. The main battle is happening in El Fasher, capital of Darfour region. There, SAF and Joint forces troops are encircled since 2 years. The SAF broke the 223rd RSF offensive on the 1.5 million inhabitant city (including at least 500 000 refugees). The city faces famine due to the encirclement. The SAF coalition is composed of the officially recognized "government" led by general Abdel Fattah al Burhan. They represent Nile Arabs, but are also allied to avrious tribes, including African tribes of North Darfur. They are supported by Egypt, Iran, Turkiye, Russia and Qatar 🇪🇬🇮🇷🇹🇷🇷🇺🇶🇦. The SAF managed to liberate all the southern part of the country (Singa, Wad Madani), the capital city Khartoum and its neighbouring twins of Bahri and Omdourman. Now, they want to destroy the RSF by pushing them out of Kordofan before attacking their base in Darfur region. Massive fightings are ongoing around El Obeid and in the south Darfur region. The battle for Kordofan is ongoing, it will decide wether the army is able to liberate and reunify the country or if the RSF militia will create a de facto arab state in the west of Sudan...show more

Today the supporters of the military dictatorship in Sudan,... dressed in military fatigues and chanting a pro-war slogan (جيش واحد شعب واحد), gathered outside Chatham House in London to slander and intimidate a visiting Sudanese politician who opposes them. Some of the protesters even dressed up their children in military fatigues. There was heavy police presence as the protest became unruly. Take note, Counter Terrorism Policing,Metropolitan Police. There is a straight line of continuity between the regime in Sudan today and the previous one that hosted Osama bin Laden for five years, attempted to assassinate Egypt’s president, and waged a 30-year jihad in South Sudan and the Nuba Mountains. On social media, I've seen clear examples of violent incitement by Sudanese residents of the UK. The right to peaceful protest is essential in a democracy; but it’s noteworthy that these protesters chose symbols of violence. The Sudanese people deserve great sympathy and support for their sufferings at the hands of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary-turned-rebel group that is currently battling the military. I think many in the West would support (or have supported) efforts to end this war and pressure the RSF and its main international sponsor, the United Arab Emirates. But these protesters don't want peace; they want war and more violence, not only in Sudan but even in the streets of Europe, if that helps them to achieve their war aims. Restoring the Islamist dictatorship of Omar al-Bashir is the key war aim of the Sudanese Armed Force, and the reason why the military boycotted peace talks supported by the U.K. government.show more
