This is called ‘Mass Rapid Transit of Trucks’. Imagine... how much diesel can be saved by transporting fully loaded trucks on trains. If a truck has to travel 1,000 km and a train carries it for 700 km of that journey, the savings are substantial. Also, trains can be much faster.show more
