Made a little experiment with mixing a 3D element... in a 2D panel on VisionOS. I like how such a simple thing makes the whole UI feel 3D: it reinforces the apparent fact that 2D is a subset of 3D, and all interactions span there. Created with with SwiftUI and RealityKit.show more

I'm sorry but yet another thing that I loved... about this demo was this particular scene. The animation, while still 3d, takes on aspects of 2d animation with multiple moments where it is animated on twos instead of being interpolated on ones, giving it that 2d animated look.show more

Figured out a way to do muzzleflashes that light... up the background. Our game is pre-rendered, meaning that background and environment is fully 2D. The only thing 3D is the character and the rain. So it's pretty neat!show more
