Texas DPS pulled over Jesús Bracho as he was... arriving to work. When they stopped him, he told his 9-year-old daughter Katherine to go inside his boss’ house. DPS called ICE and took Jesús. ICE agents came back and then forced him to lure his daughter out so they could take her too. She was scared and didn’t know where she was going. Katherine is a student at Bonnie Ellison Elementary. Jesús is a hardworking mechanic and doesn’t have a criminal record. They’ve been locked up at the Dilley Trailer Prison for over a month. Governor Abbott has ordered DPS troopers to help ICE arrest hardworking folks and children in our community. I am calling on ICE to immediately release Jesús and Katherine and stop fueling Trump and Abbott’s mass deportation machine. #FreeOurChildren #ShutDownDilleyshow more

Show this to anyone who says she didn’t hit... the ice agent. .@Sec_Noem doubles down: In an evening press conference in Minneapolis, the DHS secretary both said the “tragedy” was “preventable” and accused the driver, who she did not name, of weaponizing her vehicle in an apparent act of domestic terrorism, and alleged that she “had been stalking and impeding” the work of ICE personnel “all throughout the day.” According to Noem: ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the car and to stop obstructing law enforcement, but she refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle, and she attempted to run a law enforcement officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic terrorism. The ICE officer, fearing for his life and the other officers around him and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training to save his own life and that of his colleagues. He was treated at a local hospital, has been released and is now with family.show more

MORE ICE LIES EXPOSED. Five-year-old Liam Tadeo should be... in kindergarten. But motivated by race, ICE stopped him and his father Victor Martinez Nieto on their way to soccer, handcuffed Victor, and sent them to Dilley Detention Camp. Victor asked ICE to leave his son with family, but ICE then gave Victor an impossible choice: accept deportation with Liam or surrender him to federal custody alone. That is not voluntary departure. It is family separation used as coercion. helps families know their rights, record safely, demand names and legal authority, and document the choices ICE denies them. This was not public safety. It was government using the terror of losing a child to force a family from its home. Keep PAXIS free:show more

Another family reunited in Chicago. Ice kidnapped this father... while he was on his way to work. He was in a detention center for over 3 months. Clean record and no prior offenses. Just a hard working man trying to provide for his wife and kids. I had the opportunity to drive him home and experience this moment. No family should be separated. Shortly after 5 pm yesterday, Deputies responded to a... call for a dog in distress in the area of 228th and Harney Street, just south of Waterloo. When they arrived they were informed by homeowners that a dog had fallen through the ice on the lake and was treading water. Deputy Kubik, a DCSO K9 handler, made use of a kayak that was on one of the homeowner's docks and quickly made his way across the ice, using his oar to break the ice as he paddled to the dog. About the time he reached the dog, Waterloo Fire & Rescue also arrived and assisted in pulling Deputy Kubik and Boomer the dog back to shore. Once on shore, Deputy Clark took the 'chilly dog' inside to warm him up with a hair dryer. We are happy to report that after a brief vet visit yesterday, Boomer is doing great. Thank you to our courageous Deputies and our partners at Waterloo Fire and Rescue for their assistance.show more

Sarah, an ER nurse, dreaded winter mornings. Getting off... a 12-hour shift or waking at 4 a.m. to scrape ice off her windshield was brutal. But for the last month, she walked out to a miracle: her car perfectly clean, snow brushed off, ice scraped, wipers lifted. She checked her doorbell camera. It was Mr. Jenkins, her 80-year-old neighbor. Every morning in the freezing dark, he shuffled over in his robe and boots, cleaned her car so she could save lives without freezing her hands, then quietly returned to his warm coffee. He never told her. “She takes care of us,” Jenkins told his wife. “I take care of her car.” Isn’t that pure kindness?show more

🚨In Chicago, ICE agents surrounded and questioned a U.S.... citizen… demanding to know if he was “really” American. Back at my mom’s house I was sitting in... the living room playing video games in my my underwear, I was around 12 years old and ever body was working until about 5pm so I still had a few hours before anybody was there. I usually kept the doors locked but the front door wasn’t locked, I just didn’t know that yet. I walked into the kitchen to grab a snack and a drink. I didn’t know that a family of three people just walked into the house. I came back holding a bag of chips and a drink and I saw two people standing there and another one just sitting on the couch like they were supposed to be there. My 12 year old brain couldn’t comprehend what was happening and I ran out of the house and to the neighbors house. I finally calmed down and told her what was happening, she grabbed her husband and went over there, I’m surprised they didn’t call the police first. The people in the house told the neighbor that they were friends of my dad and they were visiting from Pittsburgh. My neighbor called my dad at the restaurant and confirmed he knew them. He ended up leaving the restaurant and coming back early. His friends confused what days he was off from work and decided to come by and visit unannounced. He also told them it wasn’t a good idea to just walk in and that even though they were friends they should always knock on the door. I had never met these people before so I thought it was some kind of home invasion, it scared me. But from that point on I always made sure the doors were locked and that I was dressed decently just in case of unexpected visitors.show more

This is Marcus, and his accidental service dog, Gunner.... Marcus served 3 deployments to Afghanistan. For years, he’s woken up at 3am, drenched in sweat, convinced he’s in back in Kandahar. Gunner came to the family when his owner passed away, which was a neighbor of Marcus. On the first night they had him, Marcus had a nightmare, and Gunner immediately jumped on his chest, and laid on him. For the first time in years, Marcus didn’t thrash, and was able to just breath, despite almost 80lbs of weight on him. Gunner laid on him for 2hrs+ that night. Marcus’s wife had urged him to get help for years. She was able to catch it on recording, to show to his counselor. The counselor told them what Gunner was doing was called “Pressure Therapy”…which is what PTSD service dogs are trained to do. Gunner never had training. He just had instincts, and an instant bond. The term, “Man’s best friend” doesn’t cut it sometimes.show more

sometimes i think abt how hardworking and disciplined minho... has been for all his life .. he volunteered at elderly homes, he took on multiple jobs while also studying to afford dance classes, he lived alone at a young age, he donated to sponsor children, he gave what he could to others even when he didn’t have much himself.. he took in stray kitties without hesitation and without even asking his mom first, just cus of how kind his heart is… </3 and even while he was working towards his dream he put others before himself along the way.. he never head it easy, he was never given anything for free… he always had to work hard for it and he never complained he got eliminated on the survival show for the sole reason of using his pain for engagement. he walked home in the rain cus he felt like he didn’t deserve a taxi. they broke him and disrespected him and he still showed up the next day to keep going and give everything he has. his dedication and commitment is insane ;; it honestly makes me so emotional… i feel sad thinking abt everything he went thru but at the same time i know this was always his dream. i don’t care abt streams or charts at all but seeing where the group is now just gives me so much relief. it means all his effort and hard work wasn’t for nothing :( i’m just rly proud for him… i’m so glad he got to achieve what he worked so hard for. today he’s able to buy the prettiest toys and treats for his kitties, able to spoil his family, able to casually buy a gucci bag for his dads bday… his face is on the biggest screens, everyone knows him. he must feel so accomplished </3 u came so far. i’m so so so proud of u minho. u deserve everything u have and so much moreshow more

For anyone claiming I’m lying about the call, here... is the sequence, and it’s all reflected in my call log. At 6:12 PM, Aidan called me from a random number. Once I realized it was him, I answered, told him not to contact me again, and hung up. He immediately called back from the same number. After that, a mutual friend reached out to me saying he was not doing well mentally and was asking me to please talk to him. Reluctantly, and out of concern, I agreed and unblocked him. I knew I could never trust him and had to be extremely cautious speaking to him. He then called me again at 8:52 PM. We spoke for over an hour. The call ended because he refused to take full accountability for his actions, and I hung up. He called me again at 10:06 PM. I did not answer. That’s the full timeline. No embellishment. No gaps. Just facts.show more
