🚨An ICE agent, in Palm Beach, threatened to arrest a U.S. citizen for standing in his own front yard. The video shows a man filming ICE agents surrounding and questioning a young man, which is happening directly in front of his home. While the man stands on his lawn, recording, an ICE agent walks onto the man’s property, points his finger at him, and orders him to move back 25 feet. The homeowner backs up and shouts: “This is MY PROPERTY!” And yet, the agent continues threatening him with arrest. For what exactly? Standing on his own lawn, while filming government agents operate in front of his driveway? Since when do Americans need permission from the federal government to stand in their own yard? The First Amendment protects the public’s right to observe and document government activity. Property rights don’t disappear because federal agents show up in your neighborhood. So, for people allegedly showing up with the goal of hurting everyone around them, they seem remarkably committed to being on the receiving end of the violence. But, my favorite part of his logic is… According to DHS, the fact that someone saw an ANTIFA flag means all the protesters must be organized, and funded, by this imaginary organization. Because that’s apparently how evidence works now. So, when counter protesters showed up wearing Proud Boys gear… does that mean the counter-protests were sponsored by the Proud Boys? And since some counter-protesters were filmed assaulting anti-ICE demonstrators, and lighting things on fire… Does that mean every counter-protester was a violent rioter? Or do we only play this game when it’s people criticizing the government? Because if one alleged flag means an entire movement is secretly funded by a nonexistent organization, we’re going to have to start applying that standard consistently. But, something tells me they won’t.

All while an agent says, “this is not an immigration enforcement action.” It is still unclear why the Border Patrol were even involved, let alone apprehended the man, especially since he was later released. He answers her… and says he’s a U.S. citizen. And yet, he’s still being treated like he has to justify existing in his own community. And just to clarify… Agents cannot just stop someone, demand identification, and hold them while they “check” someone’s status without reasonable suspicion of a crime. Driving while being a POC is not reasonable suspicion. Federal agents do not get to turn neighborhoods into checkpoints because they feel like it. When armed agents surround someone, run them through a database, and force them to prove who they are without explaining why they’re being detained… that is a violation of their constitutional rights. Rights don’t hinge on whether an agent feels suspicious that day. When law enforcement believes the Constitution is optional, enforcement turns into intimidation. Stops turn into fishing expeditions. Detentions turn into threats. Databases turn into weapons. Power expands to the edge of whatever no one pushes back on. And once that line moves, it does not move back on its own. That’s what people should be paying attention to.

Driving while being a POC is not reasonable suspicion. Federal agents do not get to turn neighborhoods into checkpoints because they feel like it. When armed agents surround someone, run them through a database, and force them to prove who they are without explaining why they’re being detained… that is a violation of their constitutional rights. Rights don’t hinge on whether an agent feels suspicious that day. When law enforcement believes the Constitution is optional, enforcement turns into intimidation. Stops turn into fishing expeditions. Detentions turn into threats. Databases turn into weapons. Power expands to the edge of whatever no one pushes back on. And once that line moves, it does not move back on its own. That’s what people should be paying attention to.

This is the funniest thing I’ve seen on the internet. Afroman had his house raided by Ohio Adam County deputies… who found absolutely nothing… broke his door, trashed his place, allegedly had $400 go missing… and then they refused to pay for the damages. So, like any reasonable rapper would do… He turned his home security footage into music videos, mocking them. And then, the deputies sued him for FOUR MILLION dollars… because they didn’t like being made fun of. And Afroman’s response? He dropped ANOTHER music video. In his own words: “Unconfidential informant lied to Police to get out of some trouble. Adam County Sherriff officers made a mistake by believing the lie. Raided my house, found nothing, refused to pay for the damages and filed a lawsuit against me, Afroman, for exercising my freedom of speech! This is me holding trial in one song. I hope you enjoy it.” They said his videos “ridiculed” them… so he decided to show them what that actually looks like. And the best part? And we’re supposed to believe they’re making our communities safer. The video shows ICE agents chasing a man through Albany Park. Two agents grab him and rip his shirt off during the chase, while one of the agents drops a fully loaded magazine… and leaves it there. The man manages to get away and runs across a street, where cars are stopped at a red light. An ICE agent then drive a black SUV into a U.S. citizen’s vehicle in an attempt to cut off the man running. The man is eventually surrounded by agents, when one agent suddenly grabs the man and aggressively throws him to the ground, as multiple agents immediately pile on top of him as he screams for help. As this is happening, residents begin recording what they are witnessing. That’s when another agent enters the scene with his taser already drawn. Despite another agent already standing next to a person filming, he walks directly toward the bystander, shoves them backward, and screams, “Back the fuck up.” The person filming isn’t attacking anyone… or interfering with the arrest. In fact, you can see them nodding and saying “okay.” Yet, the agent continues advancing toward them with a taser. Which all raises some serious first and fourth amendment concerns. And let’s talk about the woman whose car was hit… Her vehicle gets run into, during a federal operation… and then they threatened to arrest HER. And afterward, local police told her they were not given proof of the agents’ identity at the scene. One officer reportedly said, “[The agents] didn’t want to show us proof of that,” when speaking to the woman whose car was hit. AND THEN, according to reporting from the scene, one of the ICE agents had a Jerusalem cross sticker on the back of his phone. The Jerusalem cross is a Christian symbol dating back to the Crusades that has more recently gained popularity among some far-right and white supremacist groups. Maybe that’s something DHS would like to explain. So, if federal agents can crash into civilian vehicles, leave loaded ammunition in public streets, point tasers at bystanders, and aggressively confront, and assault, people exercising their constitutional rights… Then the people holding the cameras aren’t the problem. The cameras are documenting the problem.

Because apparently exercising your constitutional rights is now being treated like obstruction. According to witnesses, ICE agents were chasing someone who ran into the restaurant after a traffic stop. The manager reportedly told them they could not just storm through the kitchen without judicial authorization. Because the Fourth Amendment is still a thing… even though ICE agents keep pretending it isn’t. Law enforcement cannot just search private areas of a business because they feel like it. A kitchen, in a restaurant, is not a public space. When agents do not have consent, exigent circumstances, or a valid warrant signed by a judge… then managers have every right to question that search. The teen was working at Target when agents tackled him and arrested him, while his passport was in his pocket, fully identifying himself as a U.S. citizen. None of it mattered. Why? Because he looked Latino. When a coworker asked who to call, he said, heartbreakingly: “my mom.” Think about that. Your teenage son goes to work, and Border Patrol kidnaps him. This isn’t an isolated incident. ICE and Border Patrol have repeatedly illegally arrested U.S. citizens, especially in Minnesota. And after agents murdered a U.S. citizen who tried to drive away from illegal detention, this should outrage every single American. U.S. citizens do not have to prove their citizenship. In the video, you can hear an officer ask: “So you have no warrants?” The man responds that they already KNOW he doesn’t… because he handed over all of his information. Then he asks: “Why did you pull me over?” An officer says, “You can’t have weed out in the car like that.” The man responds, “Weed’s not illegal. Are you all going to write me a ticket for weed?!?” And another officer ACTUALLY replies… “It’s frowned upon.” It’s frowned upon? Now yes… Ohio law does regulate how marijuana is transported in vehicles, similar to alcohol. If it’s open or improperly stored, officers can issue a citation. A CITATION. Not a situation where a man is pulled out of his car, and have multiple agencies run his information. Because if the issue was truly “improper storage,” then write the ticket and let him go. That’s how laws are supposed to work in a constitutional republic. Instead, what we’re watching is officers fishing for reasons to escalate AFTER already deciding this man was “suspicious.” The Fourth Amendment exists specifically to stop the government from detaining people without legitimate legal justification. And then you have the issue of ICE agents being involved… ICE is a federal immigration agency. They are not traffic police. They are not supposed to be part of routine traffic stops, especially when they involve U.S. citizens. That separation exists on purpose. In this video, ICE agents pull up to a vehicle and immediately demand the driver’s ID. The man calmly asks the most basic, legally protected question: “Why am I being pulled over?” They never answer… because they don’t have a legal reason to stop him. Even so, the man begins to retrieve his ID anyway. An agent then orders him to turn off the vehicle. The driver says, “No problem, sir, I’ll get out.” The agent refuses, then immediately changes commands again: “I need to see your ID.” Suddenly, an agent on the passenger side pounds on the window. Then he strikes it with a hard object, clearly threatening to break it. At the same time, the driver-side agent again demands the ID. This is not confusion. This is intentional command overload… a tactic used to manufacture “noncompliance” so force can be justified. ICE’s own training materials explicitly state: “Noncompliance or refusal to cooperate with officer commands, without fighting back, does NOT violate 18 U.S.C. § 111.” In plain English: not immediately obeying commands is NOT a crime. Then the man asks, “Are you feeling unsafe or uneasy?” The agent responds, “I don’t know, man.” while standing on the passenger side of the car, smirking. The driver finally says what anyone would say surrounded by armed men: “How many guns do I have around me? I need you to calm down. I’m asking him to stop banging on my car.
