Centennial High School graduation in Franklin, Tennessee was held... outdoors despite heavy rain and lightning Weather is known in advance so the caroming could have been moved indoors but school officials had a “Rain or Shine” Policy so the Pre-Set Plans had to move ahead They knew the rain was coming but thought they could get the ceremony done before the rain and didn’t want to move the ceremony into the gym. From what I could find they didn’t know if everyone would fit They even had a backup plan incase it rained Staff indicated that if it rained on Thursday, they’d try again Friday and go indoors if needed then. They stuck with the original Thursday plan rather than moving it to Friday Many parents and attendees were extremely frustrated, calling it unsafe due to the lightning strikes. "My favorite scene is the guys pulling the Mark Twain. Who knows exactly what the issue was, but they were all trying to pull it, and it's a little symbolic scene of just how hard it was and how hard they worked and their teamwork. Also the fact that they were up against all odds. Everyone doubted this could happen, but they were all saying it was an exciting time because Walt willed it to happen. He told everybody it could happen and that they had never done this before, but they could do it. And so it all gave them confidence that they could pull it off, and they all mobilized under Walt's singular vision to get it done. I got the notification and froze. It didn’t register... what I was clicking on. And then the second I did a head count up to 7, I burst into tears. And then I did not stop crying until about an hour ago. What surprised me was that I didn’t realise that I was still holding my breath. I didn’t know. I thought I felt that release when I saw them all on June 13th and then again on June 21st when yoongi posted on weverse. I was wrong. Because apparently, I was still only half relieved. Only half breathing. There was a part of me that was still aching, still incomplete. It’s occurring to me right now that I’ve just been brushing it off, the feeling that there was still a weight on my chest. All it took was to see 7 together on that live and the wind got knocked right out of my lungs. And everything broke. I broke. That heaviness on my chest vanished. You might call it an overreaction. Maybe it is. I don’t know. But hearing them all together, their laughter, seeing their faces, seeing yoongi— my heart genuinely felt like it was broken and put back together. It’s crazy how much I love them. How much they mean to me. Can’t believe this is it. We made it. This is what it was all for.
