Scroll-triggered animations are coming to Chrome early next year... (and we've been really excited about this one for a bit!) 🥳 Unlike scroll-driven animations (already in Chrome & Safari), this API introduces "timeline-trigger" and "animation-trigger" to start an animation within a specific range, rather than relying on the scroller completion *as* the animation timeline. Did some experimenting and figured out the workflow for... AI design transformations: Start with a base image of a room with no furniture. Then prompt on Nano Banana Pro to add what you'd like (e.g. a cool door frame, loft, or pool). Take to Veo 3.1 as your start and end frames. Prompt: "time lapse construction, fast motion as a construction workers bring a tree into the living room and then construct the loft and add the couch and lights."show more

For the facial animations in my game, I use... a technique that yields results similar to L.A. Noire. To keep it simple: I first generate a facial animation video using AI like LTX 2. Then, I create a video depth map from that animation and project it onto a face mask. Using vertex displacement, the depth map dynamically deforms the face as the character speaks.
