The new retain API in React Navigation 8 keeps... stack screens rendered and active in the background even after going back. So you can do things like move a video to picture-in-picture so it keeps playing.show more

My Grok bot CEO is the hottest, smartest bot... in the world. I mainly only talk to her and she runs the whole desk. She picks the right bot, sequences the work, and brings me back one package so I’m never the middleman. Many people may not know this, but you can create your own image for each of your Grok Bots. Every bot can get its own face. It honestly helps so it feels like you are talking to a real person and it also keeps things interesting. You don’t even need to go into settings to do this... you just tell the Grok bot to make a profile pic and set it. That's it. 1/ Open the bot. 2/ Tell it to make you the best profile pic and set it. 3/ Do that for each bot on your team. You can even have your Grok bot turn it into a video. Just tell it to take the picture and make a video out of it. I highly recommend everyone with a Grok Bot team do this. Thank me later.show more

There is a "flash" bug in the One UI... 7 Beta1 animation. In fact, there are at least three versions of this problem. Samsung seems to have not found it, so it has not been solved. You only need to open two apps in succession a little quickly (not particularly fast)，You will see a quick flicker in the picture. The first video is played at normal speed, and you can see a flash picture. The second video is a slow video, and you can see the moment when the soul of a page flashes in the ninth second. I call it the One UI 7 haunted event.show more

In Gaza, two men were caught on video handing... food to kids, snapping photos, then taking it back. In the background, the person filming says in Arabic: “He’s taking the plate, and keeps going to the next kid.” Starvation? No. Propaganda. Their whole identity is based on lies.show more

Possibly one of the most impressive Safari bugs I’ve... run into lately: Going back (with a swipe) in *any* React app that uses Navigation API freezes the page for three seconds. What’s fun is the main thread is not frozen, only the rendered page is.show more

This is a tough situation to be in. How... does someone even react? It’s like a movie scene where you already know the outcome! I guess you stay calm and do whatever you can to de-escalate, because one false move could be the end of it. How else do you see this playing out?show more

Heads up! Samsung has introduced a very useful upgrade... to the Privacy Display feature on the Galaxy S26 Ultra in One UI 9. For example, if you've enabled Privacy Display only for YouTube, when you minimize the video into Picture in Picture (PiP) and return to the home screen, only the PiP window will remain protected by Privacy Display. Your home screen and other apps will no longer be affected. In previous versions, once Privacy Display was enabled, the entire screen stayed in privacy mode, even after switching to PiP, making it much less flexible. This means One UI 9 finally supports independent Privacy Display for Picture in Picture. It keeps your PiP content private without affecting the rest of the interface, making the feature much more practical than before.show more

okay, week 2, let's go. here's everything new in... Atlas v1.2: → ⌘K menu (for quick navigation between collections, moving items around, and more) → folders! you can now create folders, move folders, move collections into folders, rearrange folders, group, ungroup, whatever (⌘+⌥+⇧+N or file → new folder) → save videos from X. just copy a link with video and paste to any collection. yep, just like that, works like magic, keeps the original post URL in inspector.show more
