Two dogs were left completely alone in an Oklahoma apartment for nearly a week after their owners were deported - ICE picked the owner up directly from that apartment so they knew without question that those animals were inside, but no call was ever made to animal control. The apartment manager was the one who finally noticed something was wrong and made the call. By the time the animal welfare officer got there the place was destroyed - furniture chewed through, trash dug up, two terrified dogs cowering in the back bedroom trembling and barking.
