Update on my lightweight intercom alternative that runs on... a $5 a month server. The widget is almost ready. It took more work than I expected. I spent a lot of time making it light on websites and thinking through interactions and UI. Built with Go and Vue, and I’ll open source it soon.show more

Q. If you had to take care of the... #1 most difficult kid for a day, who would you choose? Yeosang who quietly causes big trouble or wooyoung, who actively causes small trouble? 🌼: when thinking of the trouble my sister and i caused, even i get a little overwhelmed. I’ll go with wooyoung, who runs around a lot and causes small troubles.show more

We were never fully satisfied with the animated components... available outside. Some looked good but were hard to customize. Some were easy to use but felt too basic. So 2 months ago, we started building our own. It started as a Framer component library. Then we expanded it to Next.js and MCP, so people can use it with code and AI builders too. Now we’re finally launching the beta on July 2, 11 AM IST. Only for the first 500 users. If you’re building animated websites, this will save you a lot of time. And I think you’re going to love this.show more

🇨🇦Liberal MP Vince Gasparro told me he has a... lot of respect for me and my work, even though he disagrees with me on many issues. This is what democracy looks like. Unfortunately, he’s one of the few Liberals who think this way.show more

I explored a further possibility with local models: Qwen3.6... 35B A3B + NVIDIA LocateAnything-3B as a local Computer Use agent (proof of concept). In the demo, I asked it to switch my Mac to light mode. It did. Then back to dark. Did that too — finding the right toggle in System Settings, clicking it, and verifying the change itself. It's fully screenshot-based, so no Accessibility API needed. If it's on screen, the agent can see it and act on it. This runs entirely on your own hardware — private, local, built from two small open models.show more

I’m up +150 $ETH on $PONS. I’ve taken my... initials and a small portion of my profits, but I’m still holding more than 80% of my bag. Why? Because I’ve seen the amount of work the Pons team is putting in and the insane grind from Ozzy | 奥兹 🇺🇸🇨🇳🪶. We’re also talking about one of the biggest launchpads on Robinhood. Thinking this won’t eventually break $100M, especially with the revenue they’re generating, would be foolish.show more

This small act of turning the trash cans around... so the handle is facing them can make their day a whole lot easier. They put in some hard back breaking work for all of us. And, he even turned it back around with the handle facing the house. Who wouldn’t want to perform this simple act of kindness to make someone’s day a little easier?show more

The PLA is using a flamethrower drone for urban... warfare, effective in suppressing specific openings/windows in a building. Small semi-automated drones are also used as spotters when clearing buildings. The PLA is testing drones of all shapes and sizes for various tasks. Most other countries like the US are stuck on man-unmanned teaming with large and expensive platforms, like CCA or unmanned tanks, they cannot replicate this because their manufacturing industry cannot support it.show more

Heartbreaking doesn’t even cover it. 💔😭 Yes, I cried... for them Watching #CalebFlynn parents sit through this trial every single day — especially his dad, who never missed a minute — and seeing the look on his mom’s face… that stays with you. They look crushed. They didn’t pull the trigger. They didn’t send those texts. They didn’t stage a scene. And they still have to live with all of it. I have zero sympathy for Caleb. None. You don’t get to destroy your wife’s life, your daughters’ lives, and then cry when the consequences finally catch up. But his parents? They didn’t deserve this. No parent does. This is what happens when you stop thinking about the people who will have to sit in that courtroom after you. When you stop thinking about actions and consequences. #JusticeForAshleyFlynn. Thoughts with her girls. And yes — even with two people who raised a son they no longer recognize. #CalebFlynnTrialshow more

I opened it up to do Zoom calls last... week thinking I’d just get a few. 40 people booked calls within the first 24 hours. 🥴 I was worn out. But, one the underlying theme was “Hey I’m looking at this land in NC/TN/GA..is this a good piece?” Let me reiterate…what lurks below those top few inches of soil in ANY mountainous area you buy land or buy a single lot in can be a total nightmare. You have to be very careful with that initial purchase. Anyone who did a Zoom call with me found out the main key steps to go through before you sign a contract, but, let here is a recent example of 1/2 acre lot I built a cabin on recently, in an existing development. The amount of rock we had to bust through almost killed the job. It took over 2 months of non stop hammering to get the lot prepped with my CAT machines. This is why I have a very detailed approach before I even buy a small lot to build on at this point. The cost of excavating/prepping even a small 1/3 acre the lot can run you well north of $100,000 if you’re not careful.show more

I really dislike how generative ai applications often shortcut... our thinking straight to the highest fidelity... I think we've solved a lot of this when it comes to more dense workflows like building Apps, but even with general knowledge work I want tools that add helpful friction to the process. This is an exploration of what that could mean for an experience like generating slides. Sliding fidelity between the outline, structure, and final output.show more

this is a robot i made that automatically swaps... the build plate of my 3d printer. it extends with timing belts driven by 2 stepper motors, sucks the plate with 4 electromagnets, and turns with a pulley on the bottom. the video's sped up 4x, a cycle takes ~70 sec because the steppers skip if i try to go faster. this is because the magnet on the printer bed is insanely strong lol currently it uses a button at the bottom to trigger it to change the build plate, but i think wireless would be better. thinking of setting up MQTT on a pi zero that subscribes to the printer's topic to know when its done i got a lot of attention for my first video and i'm excited to keep sharing my work! thanks everyone 🙏show more
