THIS $599 MAC MINI CAN DRIVE THREE DISPLAYS NATIVELY... - THIS SETUP TOOK "MORE SCREEN SPACE" SO FAR IT ENDED WITH BINOCULARS. the M4 Mac mini shrinks a full desktop into a 5 x 5-inch box. the base model launched with: 10-core CPU 10-core GPU 16GB unified memory support for two 6K displays plus one 5K display the M4 Pro version can drive three 6K displays at 60Hz, pushing more than 60 million pixels at once. no DisplayLink software is required for the supported three-screen configuration. the video turns that spec into a monitor wall, then delivers the punchline when the creator reaches for binoculars. honest line: Apple guarantees up to three native displays. the clip does not prove every screen in the room is connected to this one Mac mini. the tiny computer solved the screen limit. the next bottleneck is finding the window you opened. bookmark & watch today ↓show more

A HARDWARE MODDER BOLTED A BATTERY PACK ONTO A... $599 MAC MINI M4 AND TURNED A DESK SERVER INTO A BACKPACK AI RIG THAT RUNS FOR EIGHT HOURS WITHOUT A WALL OUTLET he posts a video of the mac mini with a slim battery module clamped to the side, USB-C plugged into the back. no power brick, no outlet, just the 10 to 30W draw of the M4 chip pulling from a 20,000mAh bank. a full work day on one charge. this is not a portable laptop trick. it is a desk-class AI server that fits in a sling bag the same $599 mac mini i recommended in last week's article as the silent default, now untethered. pair it with a mobile hotspot or a Starlink mini and you have a fully off-grid LLM stack that answers questions in a forest, on a plane, in a power outage. the model lives in the box, the battery powers the box, that is the whole stack this is not a gadget. it is the first time the words "AI server" and "fits in your bag" belong in the same sentenceshow more

MARCUS CHEN STACKED 30 MAC MINIS INTO AN AI... SERVER FARM. ONE $599 MAC MINI REPLACES YOUR $200/MONTH CLAUDE CODE BILL WITH $3 IN ELECTRICITY two months ago a developer posted his claude code bill on reddit. $170 in 10 days. someone replied "i bought a mac mini m4. haven't paid anthropic since." apple stores ran out of mac minis the same week the m4 chip has 120 gb/s memory bandwidth and unified memory architecture. cpu and gpu share one pool so the model loads once and both read from it. a $599 mac mini runs ai faster than a $1,500 windows pc with a discrete gpu since january 2026 ollama supports the anthropic messages api format. claude code connects directly to your local mac mini with one environment variable. same interface, zero api costs, $0 per request a heavy developer pays $459 a month across claude code max, chatgpt pro, gemini, cursor and copilot. that's $5,508 a year. the mac mini pays off in 3 months and runs on $3 in electricity after that uber rolled out claude code to 5,000 engineers and burned through their $3.4 billion 2026 ai budget in 4 months. the people who own the hardware in 2026 are going to look very far ahead in 2028 bookmark this and read the article belowshow more

HE STRAPPED A BATTERY TO A $599 MAC MINI... AND TURNED A DESK COMPUTER INTO A 14-HOUR PORTABLE AI WORKSTATION 00:03 the battery slides onto the side of the mac mini and the whole setup stops behaving like a desk machine. now it can run from a backpack, power a screen, hold local files and keep working without asking for an outlet. that changes the use case completely. instead of renting another cloud box, one silent computer can handle research dumps, meeting notes, scraped pages, voice transcripts and small automation jobs from almost anywhere. with claude connected, it becomes a moving command center. 45-minute calls become summaries, 120 saved links become organized notes, and messy project folders get cleaned while the machine quietly keeps working in the background. the interesting number is not the battery size. it is the avoided rent. one portable local box can replace $25 storage, $39 automation, $20 transcription and another $30 vps bill if the workflow is built correctly. this is no longer just a desktop. it becomes a portable ai machine that keeps working long after you leave the desk. bookmark this before portable ai becomes the new normal.show more

THIS SHELF OF MAC MINIS REPLACES $4,080 A YEAR... IN AI SUBSCRIPTIONS 00:02 the camera pans across a shelf of stacked Mac minis and the trick is obvious: that silent little farm runs the models you rent every month most people pay 7 companies for AI and use 3 of the tools. they forget the rest on the credit card and call it a stack the Mac mini M4 ends that. one shared memory pool means a $599 box runs 7B and 8B models faster than Windows machines that cost twice as much ollama pull, one command. open webui in one docker line. point Claude Code at localhost and it just works it draws 10 to 30 watts, sits silent next to a router, and runs 24/7 for $3 a month in power it pays back a $20 ChatGPT Plus sub in 3 months, then saves you $4,000 a year while the frontier still rents you compute every month you wait is another $340 gone for compute that fits on a shelfshow more

Apple put a nano-texture layer on the iPhone Duo,... but I don’t think it was the right move. Yes, it’s effective for hiding the crease. But as someone who’s used several folding phones, I know that crease is NOT as big an issue as people make it to be. It’s hardly noticeable once you use your fold for more than a few days. However, the lack of contrast is a much bigger dealbreaker on nano-texture/matte displays. I don’t like matte screens at all. To the point I’d even trade my monitor’s matte screen for a glossy one, even tho it would mean dramatically more reflections. I’d take the reflections over the lack of contrast. A matte screen is like turning your OLED into an IPS for no reason.show more

iPhone Duo just made the iPad Mini pointless and... nobody at Apple is talking about it. 7.6 inch display. Apple Pencil support. Split View. Two Safari windows side by side. This is an iPad that fits in your pocket and makes phone calls. Why would anyone buy an iPad Mini now? The Duo does everything it does plus it folds shut and slides into your jeans. Apple just killed their own product and Samsung couldn't even kill a crease in 8 years. Follow me, I'm about to show why the Duo is replacing three devices at once.show more

Heads up! Samsung has introduced a very useful upgrade... to the Privacy Display feature on the Galaxy S26 Ultra in One UI 9. For example, if you've enabled Privacy Display only for YouTube, when you minimize the video into Picture in Picture (PiP) and return to the home screen, only the PiP window will remain protected by Privacy Display. Your home screen and other apps will no longer be affected. In previous versions, once Privacy Display was enabled, the entire screen stayed in privacy mode, even after switching to PiP, making it much less flexible. This means One UI 9 finally supports independent Privacy Display for Picture in Picture. It keeps your PiP content private without affecting the rest of the interface, making the feature much more practical than before.show more

[APK] One UI 8.5 Game Booster (with extra features)... now works on One UI 7 and later. Users already running One UI 8.5 should also install this version, it enables the exclusive features like Voice Roulette, Anti-Interference, Notification Styles, 4D Vibration, Pop-up View, Voice Changer, Super Microphone, Game Care, Controller, Virtual Gamepad, Game Sound, AI Mute, AI Lab and more. It also adds pre-download game updates and sync startup animation with game loading screen in the settings. This post covers the guide of virtual gamepad with images. The first time you use the virtual gamepad feature, "Full-screen mode in split-screen view" will be automatically enabled. If you wish to disable "Full-screen mode" later, you can go to "Settings > Advanced features > Multi-window" to turn it off. If your game does not have a default configuration, the basic configuration will be displayed. The game screen is the mapped area, and the virtual button is the button area. Sharing some more UI previews for Superlogical, this time... the "tab peek." If you three-finger swipe down, you can "peek" at the other session tabs. These are live-updating, metal-rendered previews including splits. If you keep dragging, you enter a "mission control" style mode. This is one of those UI patterns that once you get used to, you mindlessly find yourself doing it ALL THE TIME. It's a great way to quickly take a look at everything thats going on. You aren't reading the mini text of course, but the shape of it tells you a lot about where things are. The peek pushes the terminal down off screen, it doesn't resize it, so it doesn't force any weird reflow or anything either. There's a lot more to talk about, especially about how this interacts with how we expose what needs attention so you can easily find the terminals/sessions/etc. that require your attention. Of course, you'll be able to drive this with the keyboard too. :) As always, a disclaimer: this is all early work subject to change, just trying to share some of what we're building in public. A lot of the UI experiential design is almonk so follow him for more updates too!show more

1 mini PC that fits in a palm, with... no monthly token bill attached to it. Most people run their AI through a browser tab. Every prompt, every document, every half-finished idea leaves the machine and lands on someone else's server. This ORICO mini PC runs the model locally. The assistant lives inside the box, not in a data center 2,000 miles away. Small enough to slide into a bag. Powerful enough that you stop noticing it is not a desktop. You pay once for hardware instead of every month for limits. No outage that takes your assistant down with it. No terms of service deciding what your files are worth. Plug it in anywhere, and the assistant is already there, offline, waiting. The smallest machine on the desk is the only one that keeps its mouth shut.show more

A wrist force sensor fires at 100Hz. The policy... only ever sees it at 30Hz, downsampled to land on the same control step as the camera and the joint state. That's not a bug, it's the whole point, and it sits inside a bigger pattern in VLA research this year. Every major release has been Markovian at its core, mapping the current frame straight to the next action. The fix everyone reaches for is more vision: more history frames, longer image context. FM-VLA makes a clean case that the fix is the wrong channel for a whole class of tasks. Press a button three times and stop. A camera watching that has almost nothing to work with, the scene barely changes between press one and press three. Force doesn't have that ambiguity problem. Each press is a sharp, distinct spike in the wrench signal, whether or not the camera noticed anything at all. So FM-VLA doesn't add more frames. It compresses the wrench history into eight tokens with a VAE, pretrained purely on reconstructing force signals, frozen before it ever touches the policy, then hands those tokens to the action expert alongside a short window of joint state. That's the entire memory system. Averaged across three contact-rich tasks, FM-VLA hits 83.3 percent success against 33.3 percent for the strongest vision-memory baseline on the button-counting task specifically, where the ambiguity problem is worst, 72.2 percent for FM-VLA there. Strip out the short-state window and force-only performance drops well below the combined system, so force alone isn't the answer either. The two channels are doing different jobs. The field has defaulted to one memory channel for every kind of temporal problem. This is a clean data point that the channel should match the ambiguity you're actually trying to resolve, not just get bigger. THE CLOUD BILL WAS $14,000 A MONTH. EVERY MONTH.... JUST FOR GPU ACCESS. No ownership. No hardware. Just renting someone else's chips and watching the invoice grow. So this startup did the math and bought 1,000 Mac Mini M4s instead. $599 each. One-time. Total: ~$599,000 upfront. Sounds insane. Until you do the math the other way. $14K/mo in cloud GPUs is $168K a year. In 3.5 years you've burned through $599K and own nothing. The meter just keeps running. These guys own the hardware. Same output. Less power draw. And after year 4, every month of compute is basically free. The M4 was never built for data centers. But its performance per watt is so good that someone looked at a rack of a thousand of them and thought "why not." That's when it clicks. The AI infrastructure race isn't about who has the biggest GPU anymore. It's about who figured out they were overpaying for one. Would you make this switch?show more

this is f**king dangerous A normal American student just... bought an iPad and Mac Mini for $2,200. Connected them to his MacBook. Three computers on one desk - dorm roommates thought he was mining crypto. He just set up the automation and went to sleep. In the morning the system had already processed hundreds of leads, written personalized emails to each one and filled the CRM without a single touch. The team that did this before him- cost $7,000 a month He paid $2,200 once. There are 360 million companies in the world and 310 of them still pay people for what a machine does better. And only 100,000 people on the planet know how to use AI and set this up.show more

Seedance 2 is so good at character and scene... consistency across cuts. I tested it with a short film on something I learned last week about cats. The key is detailed prompts - take your story to an LLM to nail the structure, then to Krea to make the video. Take my prompt 👇 Style: high-quality 3D animation, expressive character acting, cozy lighting, cinematic composition Timestamped structure: 0:00 - 0:02 Open on a cozy desk setup in a home office. A black cat, Finn, is near the desk, alert and curious. The woman with brown hair and blue eyes sits at her computer, pulling up a YouTube-style bird video. The screen shows colorful birds hopping on branches. Finn immediately locks in on the movement. 0:03 - 0:05 The woman smiles knowingly and adjusts the monitor so Finn can see better. She lightly gestures toward the screen. Finn jumps onto the chair or desk edge and sits facing the monitor, ears forward, body still, completely mesmerized by the birds. 0:05 - 0:07 The woman gets up from the desk and walks away casually, leaving Finn watching. Finn remains seated, staring at the bird video with total concentration. Maybe a subtle tail flick or tiny head movement tracks the birds on screen. 0:07 - 0:10 Cut to later in the day, in the exact same office. The woman is now back at the desk in a Zoom meeting, still with the single monitor on the same desk. The computer screen now shows a video call grid or work presentation instead of the birds. She is mid-conversation, professional and focused, seated upright, saying "and now we'll move to the next slide" 0:10 - 0:12 Finn suddenly jumps up onto the desk from below, entering frame with urgency. He looks at the screen, confused and dissatisfied that the birds are gone. He starts pawing at the screen and the woman is shocked and embarrassedshow more

THIS GIRL TURNED LOVABLE INTO A $1.2K CLIENT PITCH... Lovable doesn’t just build a pretty website. it turns 1 prompt into a clean business page a local owner can understand in 10 minutes the real trick is not selling the site itself. it is using the site as the first layer of a bigger system: lead form, calendar, CRM, follow-up and an AI agent that books calls 24/7 for a local business this is simple math. one roofing job can be worth $10,000. three extra booked jobs in a month can turn into $30,000 in new revenue that is why agencies can charge $15,000 to $25,000+ for the complete version. business owners don’t care what tool built it, they care if it brings more calls, more bookings and more customers the video below shows the easiest entry point into that market ↓show more

THIS IS F**KING GOLD he highlighted half a sentence.... the other half is the whole answer. $700 TO $65,000+ that range sits in the same google snippet at 0:13. the highlight stops at $4,000 to $7,000 per million views. the sentence doesn't. it continues with the three things that decide which end you land on: niche, audience location, and whether you publish short-form. this video is kids content, in shorts, generated at volume. that's the bottom of all three. a channel set as made for kids can't serve personalized ads a legal requirement, not a youtube preference so contextual is all that runs, and contextual pays a fraction. shorts are paid from a pooled model that splits ad revenue across the feed rather than per video. stack those two and you're not in the $2,000–$5,000 band at all. the hooks says $630/day. and to be fair: the setup works. the images render, the shorts export, the pipeline is real. what doesn't survive is the arithmetic on the other side of it. full breakdown in the article below.show more

A regular American developer bought $1,400 worth and stacked... seven Mac Minis on top of each other and connected them with metal cables. Neighbors thought he was building a mining server. His wife thought he'd lost his mind. He just didn't want to pay $15,000 a month for a dev team. On the screen - a diagram. Seven Mac Minis connected via Ethernet working as one machine. EXO framework distributes tasks between them automatically. 11.44 TFLOPS each. Together - more than most cloud servers that companies pay thousands for every month. He paid $1,400 for the hardware once. 38 agents from GitHub, 156 skills. A system that learns from session to session and in two weeks writes code just like he does - but seven times faster because it runs on seven machines in parallel. A task that took a junior dev 10-12 hours - the tower closes in 20 minutes. One founder with this setup ships a product like a team of eight people. For $20 a month instead of $120,000 a year. This 7 Mac Mini setup helped him win the Anthropic hackathon and make $26,000 without a team.show more
