This guy built something that changes your face in... real time using hand gestures. And it looks insane. 🤯 Viet Nguyen, a Senior AI engineer, built a personal project that transforms your face into 16 different visual styles. Van Gogh. Neon. Anime. Pop art. Graffiti. All triggered by just moving your hand. Open your hand. AI reads the gesture. Your face transforms into a completely different art style. Almost instantly. 16 styles. One hand movement. Zero clicks. The wild part: he built this as a side project. Not a product. Not a startup. Just one engineer combining two existing tools in a way nobody had thought to before. This is what personal projects look like in 2026.show more

A guy from China just built a system that... reshapes thousands of glowing particles into a jellyfish, a dragon, a statue, and a samurai. Just by moving his hands in front of a camera. Just a webcam reading his hand position. Every particle recalculates in real time. 60 frames per second. Not pre-rendered. Not a recording. Live. Clench both fists and the entire thing collapses into nothing. The whole setup runs on a regular camera and a GPU particle system. No special hardware. This is where hand tracking, computer vision, and real-time graphics have gotten. And most people haven't noticed.show more

SOMEONE BUILT AN IPHONE APP THAT ONLY REVEALS WHATS... UNDER YOUR HAND the whole screen stays hidden you rest the side of your hand on it, the way you shield a keypad at an atm, and only the part your hand covers becomes readable lift your hand and it goes back to hidden > uses a multi touch area to detect your hand, no camera or permissions needed > he tried the proximity sensor first but it just turned the screen off > skipped the camera on purpose since asking for camera access in a privacy app felt wrong > fully native ios, with app clip and imessage support its insane how many simple but useful ideas you can vibe code in a weekendshow more

clean up your sidebar! one tip I have is... that you can think of Projects in cursor like a special folder for your chats! a coordinator agent supervises all the agents inside of the project, and you can drag in existing chats from your sidebar into the project if you have many related chats scattered everywhere, consider moving them into a project! even completed agents can be dragged in - it's a great source of context for the rest of your projectshow more

this kid is making tens of thousands with AI... avatars. hundreds of videos where he transforms into different people. average 1M views. some hit 50M. people share it because a kid is doing this. nobody noticed the kid isn't real. the child is AI. the celebrities he becomes are AI. every frame generated. nobody behind the camera. one person figured out that in 2026. you don't need a face to go viral. you don't need a face to make money. the article below breaks down exactly how this works.show more

a Vietnamese AI engineer just built a real-time system... that counts objects moving down a conveyor belt. it runs on ultralytics' objectcounter. train a detector, define the region you care about, and it handles the rest. works for anything on a line, parts, packages, produce. the clever bit: instead of hand-labeling thousands of frames, he took a single frame, pre-annotated it with meta's segment anything (sam-2, built into ultralytics), and trained yolo11-nano on just that. one annotated frame, and it tracks objects accurately across the entire video.show more

🚨 One photo of your face. That's all someone... needs to become you on a live video call. In real time. Right now. The tool is free and open source. It's called Deep-Live-Cam. One image. One click. You become anyone on a live webcam feed. No training. No datasets. No waiting. Instant. Your face. Your expressions. Your mouth movements. All stolen from a single photo. Here's what this thing does: → Upload one photo of any face → Turn on your webcam → You are now that person. Live. In real time. → It matches your pose, your expressions, even your lighting → Mouth masking so the swapped face moves its lips when you talk → Multi-face mapping. Swap different faces on different people in the same call. → Virtual camera output. Plug it into Zoom, Google Meet, Teams. Nobody knows. → Works on NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and Apple Silicon Here's the part that should terrify you: Your boss could be on a Zoom call with someone wearing your face right now. A scammer could call your parents looking exactly like you. A stranger could take your LinkedIn photo and become you in a video meeting. IShowSpeed's reaction when he saw it: "What the F**! This shit is crazy!" SomeOrdinaryGamers: "That's fucking freaky dude... that's so wild." This was the #1 trending repo on GitHub the day it launched. 1,600 stars in 24 hours. 80K+ stars today. I FOUND A COUPLE FORMAT THAT GETS 7M+ VIEWS... WITH ONE HAND AND ONE PAIR OF GLASSES. 12 SECONDS. NO KISS. NO CAPTION. JUST A CAMERA ANGLE THAT MAKES YOUR BRAIN LIE TO ITSELF. Thread. First frame. Girl in black, camera below her chin. A man's hand enters from above and grabs her hair. Pulls. You already know what you think is about to happen and that's why you're still here. 0:01. Hand grips the hair, pulls her head back. Angle is from below looking up. This is the exact POV of every clip on sites you don't talk about. The framing is doing all the work and the video hasn't even started. 0:03. She's wearing glasses. His hand comes down and takes them off. That's it. He removed her glasses. But the way the hand moves from her hair to her face, the way she looks up with her lips parted, none of it reads as "taking off glasses." It reads as what you decided in the first second. 0:07. Hand grabs her chin, tilts her face up. She's looking into the camera from below with his fingers under her jaw. On paper a guy is holding his girlfriend's face. On paper it's nothing. On screen it's everything. The video loops and you're watching the hair grab again, already knowing it's just glasses, and it looks exactly the same. Knowing the punchline doesn't undo the setup. Your brain sees it the same way every time. The format: hand from above, camera from below, one accessory. Glasses, hair tie, necklace, doesn't matter. That geometry is the entire trick. Black top, pearl necklace, white room. If she was in sweats on a couch this would be a vlog. In this outfit with this lighting it's a scene. If you see a hand from above and a camera from below, your brain already finished the video for them. She didn't do anything. He just took off her glasses.show more

TESLA’S NEXT-GEN OPTIMUS V3 HAND IS GETTING CLOSE TO... HUMAN-LEVEL Tesla engineers just shared new details on the Optimus V3 hand — and the progress is striking. They’re now saying that as they move into Gen-3 and mass production, the hand is getting very close to human functionality and form factor. One engineer described it clearly: “It won’t even look like a robot. It will look like a human in a superhero suit. It will be something revolutionary.” This level of dexterity and human-like design is a critical milestone. The hand is one of the hardest parts of building a truly useful humanoid robot — and Tesla is iterating extremely fast.show more
