When creating this cut for SCP:GALLIONIC's trailer we started... out with a 3D layout, where the general movement and camera placements are decided. Then animation and Backgrounds are worked on in tandem. Creating the background was fairly straightforward (just define the structure, textures and lighting) [done by Brando Leon Rustici - (So So Animations) ] Animation however, was definitely a bit trickier, but Jag アニメーター really knocked it out of the park: especially with such complicated designs and number of individual objects, it's always good (as he's done) to break it down first to just "blobs", to get the movement down and after that actually drawing the characters properly. Mikey Nowack, other than being being responsible for SCP-1762's design, also took care of the colour script for this cut, and together with Wing (in charge of compositing) brought the final scene to life! Go check out the full trailer if you have not already! #scp #indie_animeshow more

Turned 24 today by completing an epic 1300km journey... on a motorcycle riding across ladakh. All I can say is - if you’re in your 20s, just pack that bag every few months and go on epic adventures you wouldn’t be able to when you grow old my man. got approached by so many uncles in their 40s and 50s looking at the bike with fascination. the teenage boy in them was excited to see the motorcycle, they were doing the same route, just with a car and a driver and a family they had to look after the entire time. you could sense the longing for something like this in their eyes and their voice. you will never have less responsibilities and more time in the future. actively and consciously shape the life you wanna live. go on more adventures. go take more risks. go solo if you don’t have friends who can come with you. go live a life ur actively proud off despite the burden of responsibilities on your head. go be the guy who does it all - fails most of the time, but tried anyways. go win. While I have premium I definitely want to do... a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. The first expansion scene has WAY more that I want to talk about honestly. Far more than this one has. It will probably be a really long post now that I think about it...show more

Astra (GPT-6) is here!!! I've had early access and... tested it like crazy with things like games, code, writing, browser control, presentations and general knowledge work. This is the best model I've ever used. Period. (Incredible demos below in this thread ⬇️) Here's my take on Astra: > It's insanely capable. This feels like a massive improvement, not just an incremental change. This is especially true with zero-shot prompts. > It's all about knowledge work. Slide creation, analysis, writing, and browser control. And oh my...it's so good at browser control. GPT-5.6 was already fantastic at doing things in the browser, Astra is another level and significantly faster. > We're closer than ever (arrived?) at prompt-to-playable game. And I don't just mean only playable, these are actually fun games. I bet if someone with a great eye for games used Astra, they could create a viral game within 1-2 weeks. > Astra is better at writing but not perfect. It removes much of the "AI Smell" we're all familiar with but some stink still survived. > It has a tendency to use the same design colors and look/feel as GPT-5.6 (forrest green anyone?) but it is more steerable in design than previous models. > It's highly steerable in general. A little nudge goes a long way. When I first started using Astra, almost every task I gave it would go for ~30 minutes. I wanted it to keep working. Adding more specifics to a prompt helped greatly with it's ability to work for a long time. > Astra's 3D understanding is unmatched. 3D asset creation was consistent and easy and its spacial awareness while building complex 3D worlds blew me away. I'm still getting familiar with Astra but this will now be my go-to model for any difficult work I have. Check out the demos below: 👇show more

Andy Burnham has just signalled a major push to... make more welfare benefits conditional. In his interview with Laura Kuenssberg, the Prime Minister was asked directly: “Specifically, as your plans stand, do they include removing benefits from anyone or reducing benefits for anyone?” Burnham replied: “It’s about changing the nature of the support and making some of the support conditional upon people taking opportunities that are presented in front of them.” He’s talking about reforming the system so that support is tied to engaging with available jobs, training or other opportunities, not simply handed out with no strings attached. The welfare bill is costing an absolute fortune and is completely unsustainable. Starmer tried to reform it and it blew up in his face. Burnham is now having a go, let’s hope he actually delivers meaningful change this time. If they really want public support, they should start by stopping foreign nationals from receiving benefits altogether. That single move would have huge backing across the country because far too many people can see the system is being abused. Time for real reform.show more

260524 A Hengdian #JiangMenDuHou proxy photographer, spoke up for... #DylanWang on xhs just now. "As an on-set proxy photographer, even I support Wang Hedi, because he is genuinely a good person. I've followed several of his productions, and Didi truly is a very kind person. After working in this industry for many years, I've met countless celebrities and seen plenty who act arrogant or throw their weight around, but Wang Hedi is the only one who left me with the impression that he respects every profession equally and treats everyone warmly. Most of the things being said online are coming from people who have never even met him. If you have time, go watch more on-set footage and see for yourself. I often see how dedicated he is on set, and he is also simply a very good person. Why are so many people attacking him online now? Even when extras fall over during filming, he would still go over to check on them and comfort them. I'm not even his fan. I just find these baseless accusations from people who do not understand the situation incredibly frustrating. Stay strong, Didi. Just be yourself. XDHs will always support you."show more

🟠 #BREAKING NIGEL FARAGE, TOMMY ROBINSON AND PAULINE HANSON... ALL WARNED WHERE SOFT BORDERS END. THIS WEEK IN SPAIN, IT HAPPENED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT 🟠 Thousands of migrants, mostly young men, swam around Spain's border fence into Ceuta. At least nine died doing it. Pedro Sánchez has now sent in the army, because the Civil Guard says the border has "totally collapsed". None of this came from nowhere. Sánchez's government just legalised undocumented migrants already in Spain, and more than one MILLION applied, double what he promised. Then on 9 July Spain's Supreme Court banned turning back anyone caught swimming in. Three weeks later, the border gave way. Nigel Farage says the same men will be heading for Calais next: "It's time to wake up everybody." Pauline Hanson walked Luton with Tommy Robinson this month and said it plainly: "I definitely don't want Australia to become like this." They warned. It's happening in front of us. ⚔️ Kingdom Come Deliverance first impressions ⚔️ Loving it... so far, basically a medieval detective simulator that really doesn't care that you are the main character. And I'm all here for it. ▪️The WORLD is the real star of the show here and even though it's got plenty of jank and lots of copy and paste NPC faces, it just feels so IMMERSIVE. Even the UI just transports me to the times with a bright colourful medieval art style. ▪️The MUSIC I love, absolutely sells the world and basically ASMR as you trot around on your horse through the world. ▪️THE Combat is a real interesting one, it's got quite the learning curve which I actually LIKE, it definitely has some jank to it as well but I really appreciate the attempt at an original and nuanced combat system. (Having to stop your bleeding with bandages is really cool) ▪️The Story has gripped me (19 hours in so far) And while it seems a simple revenge story on the face of it, I think the story is more about Henry making his way through the world after the horrors of Skallitz. The writing quality is top notch as well as the quest design also. ▪️The CHARACTERS are amazing and the humour is top notch. I'm not sure the last time I laughed so much at a game. Henry is great and so well voiced by Tom McKay This really feels like Warhorse Studios have put a lot of love and work into making an authentic medieval world and as a bit of a medieval nerd I can't get enough of this game. A True RPG as well by all accounts, the game really makes me think hard about how to approach situations. Also I can't wait to get to KCD2.show more

You + Your Person ❤️🔥 For/To: #Aries #Leo #Sagittarius... #FireSigns This you need to know: •Having sleepless nights over you •You could be dealing with an Earth Sign •Wanting a Family with you or ready to build/work towards one •Your too good at goodbyes •Having a hard time letting you go Someone from your past is coming back around to talk to you. Someone panicked and could’ve ran from you. You may have a child with this person or planned one. I do see this person has been obsessing over you and missing you more than you’ll ever know. This person could’ve had some legal issues to handle. But there was some gossip around this connection and I do see your person has shut all the rumors. Anyone who thought they had one up on you could’ve got clowned and shut down. I do see this karmic was upset and mad making it seem like something that it wasn’t. Your person has shut down this other connection and ready to make their way back to you. I do see this person is scared to come forward, and hates that you have cut them off the way you did. I do see expect a phone call, meet up for drinks, pulling up on you will be in full effect. They’re gonna be on you real bad.show more

Eben Etzebeth's post on Instagram: Hey Everyone I've been... quiet, but now that my hearing is done I think I owe everyone an explanation First of all, this is not a post to show that I was not guilty, I accept guilt. I made a mistake and I'm willing to serve a suspension which I deserve. I don't want young kids who look up to the Springboks to think that it's OK to eye gouge someone, because it's not, but unfortunately mistakes happen and I made a big one for which I'm sorry. But I'd like to answer the question - why did you do such a thing? It was a mistake caused by my reaction and other factors that played a role. Slide 1: The scuffle was basically over when Wales #7 struck me with an open hand to my chin/neck area, you can see me looking at the Assistant Referee and waiting for a reaction from him (it happened fast and it's understandable that he didn't see it) without reacting yet, I got another pull on my jersey, before I go in with the similar type of action. Slide 2: You can clearly see my first point of contact is against his shoulder with an open hand, just like he did, except he got me on the chin. Another thing worth mentioning, when he struck me, I was standing still with not a lot of movement or players trying to get involved. When I went for the same open hand towards his shoulder, you'll see 2 Welsh players changing the dynamic of the entire picture as well as one of my teammates pulling Wales #7 around his neck away from my hand and where my force is going. Slide 3: Another Camera Angle So why did I post this? To try and show people how everything happened and that it was never intentional. I would never do something like this on purpose, I know what the consequences will be after playing rugby for a few years. Thanks to everyone that stood by me and thought the best of me. I'm sorry for letting you and the game down. That was my first red card since I started playing. I want it to be my last. To the people that were angry and upset with my actions, I understand - because it didn't look good on the slow motion replay and hopefully you've got a bit more context now.show more

Amidst the accusations and misconceptions that I string slapped... myself on purpose to “sell” something that was a complete joke, I actually did have the chance to hit the range! 😂🏹 And you know what? It was an absolute blast, just like always. This marked my inaugural lesson with a compound bow, and I’ve got to say, I’m hooked! The difference from a recurve bow was striking. It seemed to be a lot more forgiving when it came to getting consistently good shots and tight groupings. If I ever decide to take the plunge into bowhunting, the compound would definitely be my weapon of choice for accuracy, a crucial element in hunting. It also made me appreciate the level of skill required to excel with a recurve bow. There are fewer bells and whistles to help with accuracy, which means you really need to hone your skill. Rest assured, if I ever embark on a bowhunting journey, it will be after extensive practice and mastery of the sport. 🦌🌿 Using my new Hoyt Eclipse of course! 😉show more
