Last breast cancer treatment! On Wednesday I “rang my... bell” of being cancer free. And on Friday I got my port removed. It’s all finally over and I’m officially cancer free! Anomaa Bronii, my daughter in law, called me in... the afternoon and said, ‘Mummy, I’m sorry I couldn’t be there today, but what did you cook?’ I said ‘Jollof, kebabs, spare ribs, spicy chicken, fried yam and plantain, goat meat stew, potato salad, lamb chops, Stephanie style, Gizzards and home made bread’. With a burst of excitement, Anomaa chirped, ‘Can you package some food for me?’. I smiled happily and said ‘Of Course, do you want everything?’ She joyously replied ‘Yes please. I’d love a lot more of the gizzard’. I looked in the almost empty gizzard dish and said ‘The girls ate most of that, but I’ll cook a fresh batch for you, don’t worry’. For a few days, JJ and Anomaa will have a feast and Cameron will also be set for the week with plenty of food in his fridge. Both left very happy.
