Stokes wasn’t obviously trying to run, but the ball accidentally deflected off his bat and raced to the boundary. But the umpire gave England 6 runs. Later, one of the former umpires clarified that the overthrow should have been 5 runs, not 6. But this was clarified only after the match. Then the match was tied, the Super Over was tied, and it came down to the boundary count. That was probably the most confusing part for us. But you can’t sit and sulk forever. We gave our best, competed in the best way we could, and were part of an incredible game.
