A story in 4 acts 👇 We stupidly drained... the RV's battery during the night by leaving both air condition units at full blast all night long and it wouldn't start anymore... Some kind locals here in Yining tried to help with a jump starter but it wouldn't work because the problem is with the main EV battery, not the engine battery. So we got a tow truck to drop the RV at a charging site. Now we just need to wait for the battery to charge and we're back on the road. As we call it in our family: type 2 fun 😊show more

sora roadmap update: in the spirit of building this... app openly, here's what we're landing soon. first, more creation tools. character cameos are coming in the next few days: you'll be able to cameo your dog, guinea pig, favorite stuffed toy, and pretty much anything else you want. you can also create cameos of generated characters straight from your sora videos. we're expecting people to register lots of crazy new cameos with this feature. to make them easier to find, we're updating the generation UI to show the latest trending cameos in real time. we're also adding basic video editing capabilities to the app, starting with stitching together multiple clips, and we'll add very powerful new features here soon. second, we're working on making the social experience much better. we are exploring new ways to use sora with your friends (versus just a global feed) and broader community. think channels that are specific to your university, company, sports club, etc. third, quality of life. the feed has quietly gotten much better recently, and there are more improvements on the way soon (shoutout to Thomas Dimson and team!). team is hard at work continuing to reduce excessive moderation of gens (we know it's super annoying). we're also working to increase the overall performance of the app to feel snappier everywhere. finally, the android version of sora is actually coming soon. please keep giving us feedback!show more

This afternoon we left the puppy at home with... uncle Jason and we went out with Detective Dug 🇨🇦. There were some dogs not on leashes (apparently the big signs pointing to the off leash area 0.8km away was too hard for their humans to understand) so I stood still on the path and had them focus on me so Dug could take his human and hide out of sight. He can get scared by strange dogs. The one dog's human kept calling him and it took forever for him to go. Maybe the human was as bad at speaking dog as they were at reading signs in human language? Then Dug and I played scent games. I've never done that away from home. It's way harder to choose which cone has the scent under it when there's strange humans and animals around. We're gonna have to really practice that! We also got to see geese and a rabbit! We stopped at the mailbox and I carried the mail home!!! It was the bestest day!
