When Sony first announced that they were going to... make a game console, I remember thinking, “Is that really possible?” At the time, Nintendo and Sega had already dominated the market for two generations, and NEC was also building a solid presence of its own. My biggest doubt was about first-party games. Even if they could build the hardware, it was hard to imagine a console succeeding without strong first-party titles. That’s why I always felt NEC was a step behind Sega and Nintendo. Now it’s already been over 30 years since the PlayStation launched—32 years this year—and I never would’ve imagined back then that it would rise to form a two-giant system alongside Nintendo. Looking back, there’s no doubt that Ken Kutaragi was an incredible figure for making PlayStation a reality. A lot of us have great memories with PlayStation, don’t we?show more

The first time I worked with MacBook was when... I joined my first company. They had sent me a Mac as part of onboarding. Around a year back I was laid off, and Mac went away with my job. Ever since then, I've always wanted to get my own MacBook. Today's the day that became a reality, and it feels absolutely surreal. ✨show more

I’m probably one of the only Teslanaires out there,... if not one of the very few, still cutting my own hair. I cut my own hair again today, and it reminded me that becoming a multi-millionaire usually isn’t a random coincidence. People see the $ and think it just happened. What they usually don’t see are the small habits behind it. Of course, I could go spend $25–$50 on a haircut that probably looks better than the one I give myself. But that’s not really what matters to me. I don’t care that much about looking perfect. I care about controlling my time. I care about staying grounded. I care about keeping the kind of habits that helped me build wealth in the first place. And honestly, I enjoy doing it. I’ve been cutting my own hair for so many years that I don’t even think about going to the barber anymore. It’s just normal to me now. It saves time, keeps me frugal, and reminds me that wealth is usually built in the small choices nobody claps for. That’s the part people miss. A lot of people see wealth and assume it was luck. But a lot of the time, it’s really the result of small disciplined habits repeated for years. Not wasting $ just bc you can. Not wasting time just bc other people do. And the funny part is, one day my fleet of Tesla Bots will probably be doing it for me anyway. But until then, I’m good doing it myself. Bc to me, being wealthy was never about trying to look rich. It was about building a mindset. A mindset that values time, discipline, and freedom more than appearances. And once you really live that way, it shows up in a lot of things, even something as simple as cutting your own hair.show more

Spent a fantastic two days at the Circuito de... Navarra in Spain. Mostly dry and a great technical circuit. I was driving a McLaren 720s GT3 Evo with Garage59. It was great to be back with a team that I have a strong history with. I was rusty to start, it’s been a few years out of a GT3 but very happy with where we ended up after two days of testing. I had to hang up most of my engineering brain and focus on driving - and loved every second. More to follow 👀show more

Almost 30 years ago my parents moved their young... family oversees to help support pastors starting churches. They moved half way across the world and found themselves without a pastor to support. The church in this area was almost nowhere to be found. Rituals replaced relationships and the need for pastors was huge. So Mom and Dad decided to do what they said they wouldn’t do, they started a church. It was just our family at first. Felt kinda silly if I’m being honest. Just the five of us in our living room. “Why move across the world for this?” We wondered. Then, as we built relationships, the church began to grow. It was slow at first. It was also hard and lonely. But Dad was bent on building something that would train leaders and would grow without him. He always said our job was to work ourselves out of a job. The goal was to leave the leadership in the hands of the people there as quickly as possible. My parents had to move back to the States rather suddenly a few years ago after my Mom suffered a major stroke during a serious illness. The church was strong and Dad spent years discipline and training leaders. Yet, it was still sudden. We wondered, Would the church continue growing without them or begin to dwindle? Recently I decided to go back home to Northern Chile with my 3 kids to see how the church my parents started in our living room was doing. And look what I found! It’s a church of well over 500 but that’s not the impressive part. The church has planted 11 other churches, runs two children’s homes, a rehab center, a seminary training hundreds of pastors, and sends people all over the world to work in ministry. It’s been a rock in the community during earthquakes, tidal waves and civil unrest. I was able to return home and tell Dad, “Dad, your church sends their greetings”show more

This weekend I had the opportunity to attend the... very first Prop Firm Expo by Prop Firm Match What an incredible event. Yes, it was crowded. Yes, it was hot. And yes, the lines were long. But if anything, that was a testament to just how popular prop trading has become in London, far beyond what many of us expected. It was amazing to see an online community come together in person. Traders had the chance to meet the founders and leaders of some of the biggest prop firms, connect with the streamers and educators they watch every day, and exchange ideas with fellow traders from around the world. It was a great opportunity to learn, network, and pick up new ideas to improve their trading. Having attended trading events around the world for more than two decades, I can honestly say the energy and enthusiasm of the prop community is unmatched. Thank you to Prop Firm Match for inviting me to be a part of it. I’m already looking forward to next year. I have no doubt the venue will need to be even bigger. Grateful to have been part of such a memorable first event.show more

Three years ago I bought a brewery in Italy... that was failing. I thought I had accumulated enough experience running businesses and could turn it around. Boy was I wrong :) The brewery had an old brewing system that just couldn’t produce consistent, quality beers — so I had to buy a new one (~€400k). The new brewing system couldn’t fit the warehouse we were in, so we had to find a new space and move production (~€200k). And moving production cost us an entire year of lost customers and revenue, while still paying salaries (~€200k). It’s been a journey ( and we still have a lot ahead of us) but we now make beers so good that you’ll never go back to an industrial one after trying ours.show more

The Major and the Minor (1942) As you know,... Veronica Lake was known for her “peek-a-boo” hairstyle. “It isn’t true that I was born with a lock of blonde hair over my right eye, but if people want to say so, it’s all right with me,” Lake said at the time. “Actually, I didn’t think up that style at all. It was an accident. When I was making my first screen test, my hair dropped over my eye, and the studio went to work to exploit that different sort of hair-do. All I did was wear my hair the way I was told ... It’s a trademark now.”show more

Today I had my first demo drive in a... Tesla. It was also my first time ever sitting in one. This was the first car I’ve ever sat in the driver’s seat of where I didn’t touch the steering wheel for over 20 miles. Before I even got to the car, the people who had demoed it before me were an older married couple who were absolutely euphoric. They thought it was so cool that the car could drive itself. The Tesla employee told me this happens all the time. People come back from demo drives and tell the next test driver that they’re about to have an amazing experience. Little did I know, I’d end up carrying on the torch to the next couple demoing it after me. There was a ton of construction where I demoed the car, and FSD handled the entire drive extremely well. And yes, it can go through a drive-thru and stop at each window. The only thing I had to do was tap the pedal because it wouldn’t leave on its own, but it was still wild seeing the AI stop perfectly at the second window and wait. There are a million things I could write about why a Tesla feels like a better car and how much more it offers compared to a regular car. But for now, I’ll stick to FSD. There were only two moments that made me a little uneasy. The first was pretty minor. The car slightly hesitated going up a driveway, but quickly made up its mind. The second was more noticeable. I didn’t realize the car was nagging me. Once I touched the steering wheel, nothing happened, so I pulled it right a little harder, then let go. After that, the car turned left and crossed a double yellow on a backroad. (and yes I know you can sue the volume knob) I’m not totally sure if it was trying to pull over or what it was doing. I wanted to see how it would handle the situation, but there were cars coming, so I took over and corrected it. One of the coolest moments was when I thought FSD was glitching because it came to a complete stop in the middle of a busy road. Then I looked around and realized why. On the right side, there was a bicyclist waiting at a yellow crosswalk. The cars behind me didn’t honk, and the Tesla stopping actually incentivized another car in the right lane to stop and let him pass. The car is almost too nice to pedestrians, because 99.999% of humans would’ve blown through that, especially with no flashing light. For 99.9% of the drive, the car navigated confidently and smoothly. It was a real “feel the AGI” moment. Please do not let the media, the general public, or anyone else convince you that this technology is just some kind of auto assist or glorified cruise control. This is undoubtedly getting extremely close to feeling superhuman. You still have to pay attention to the road, but after experiencing it myself, I’d be shocked if HW4 Teslas aren’t unsupervised within the next couple years. The car was extremely smooth. There was no harsh braking, and it even avoided something in the road that I didn’t see. Driving with FSD made me realize I probably wasn’t driving as well as I could be. Hopefully, eventually, everyone’s car can be as mindful as a Tesla. I’ve never seen a brand so far removed from the public’s sentiment. I’m so happy I ordered one.show more

3 years ago, during this exact time, i quit... my job. i worked for a company that had the worst environment possible. it was a place that truly did not value people i was exploited… making way below minum wage, they paid me $500 a week, 9 hour days, no lunch break, no lunch with coworkers, working weekends with no overtime pay… i remember they would send me on work trips, and i had to pay for everything. i would get 1 day of vacation per month worked, with MAX 3 sick days a year… on top of that, they would constantly criticize my physic, bully me, ask me why i even applied for the job if i couldnt properly "write", that how was it possible that i considered myself a "spanish speaking person" if i write it without mistakes... i would go as far to say i was abused mentally. they were extremely old school, i dont want to sound like a cry baby, but i was geniunely exploited. emotionally. but why did i stay? i was young. i thought i needed to learn life the hard way. i wanted to be “successful”, i thought suffering was part of becoming somebody… its not. some people are just plain mean, rude and bitter. And no job, no "opportunity," no paycheck is worth your health, your mental sanity, your time. well, why am i venting now? because that place closed its doors this week. the same week i left 3 yearws ago. the timing is ironic, but honestly? it’s immaculate. that place was a representation of the system that was put in place to keep us depressed, stressed, tired… anxious.. that place did teach me to stand up for myself, i wish younger me had learned that in a different environment, but it is what it is. glad that hell hole is closed. so to anyone staying somewhere that's breaking you, you don't have to earn your worth by suffering. just LEAVE. Trust yourself. Build something better. I did. And I'd do it again. enjoy a random day of what the environment was like. and the video of me cleaning out things and leaving it behind. a picture of one of my colleagues who got hives from how anxious she got one day from the way they spoke to her.show more

I used to own a company that went bankrupt... a year ago. At the time, it felt like everything was collapsing because of a series of wrong decisions—decisions that, looking back now, turned out to be blessings in disguise. During that time, I was hustling every single day just to cover rent and put food on the table. In the middle of all that chaos, I was learning how to trade. Deep down, I already knew I wanted to trade more than I wanted to save the company… but I still gave everything I had trying to keep it alive. After multiple deposits and plenty of setbacks, I finally became profitable on my last one (January 2025). At one point I was down to 0.28 SOL. I even wrote down: “I will turn 0.28 into 100.” That was my first real goal—about 25K at the time. I’ve never been the type to post PnLs, but I took a lot of inspiration and motivation from others. Might as well share my journey too. (And engagement farm) I genuinely believe everything happens for a reason—and God wouldn’t place a dream in your mind if you weren’t meant to achieve it. Eternally grateful to be able to have days like this.show more

If Victorious had gotten one more season, Tori &... Andre becoming a couple likely would’ve been a major storyline. Years back, I asked a writer about it. That dynamic had already been touched on Zoey 101 and they were ready to revisit it here.show more

Distressing content that breaks my heart! BULLYING! 😡😡 Being... a kid that was bullied at home by a parent, at junior school and down the park which was basically my whole life for a time, I feel I can speak on this subject. This is temporary, I always knew it was and I hope all that are going through this know this. I was lucky as I got to 6ft 1 at 12, my dad had left when I was 11 so that was over and suddenly I grew my wings and fought the older bullies back. I only extracted revenge on the few horrible ones who hurt all of us younger lot which was their way of simply masking their own weakness but it was glorious.❤️ I hope all kids and adults being bullied experience that euphoric moment when it’s over, it makes sure you never bully anyone yourself going forward. Don’t ever let weak bullies win. 🙏show more

When I play arcade games at home, I could... just set them to free play, but I actually prefer inserting coins myself. The sound of the coin rolling in and the credit counter going up is a huge part of the experience for me. It really brings back the feeling of being in an arcade back then. That’s why I even use an old cigarette ashtray as a coin holder. At first, I bought a chair that looked similar to an arcade stool, but the height felt strangely uncomfortable. So I ended up ordering actual Japanese arcade stools from a company in Japan, and the height is just perfect👌 Once you own an arcade cabinet, collecting little accessories like that becomes part of the fun too. And when you hang game posters on the wall, the whole atmosphere becomes incredible😆show more

I was driving home a few days ago and... randomly started thinking about Marc and wondering what he was up to. I hadn’t seen him in almost 10 years. He was one of the first pros I ever traveled with because we were both sponsored by Matix. When you’re young, you remember the pros who were genuinely nice to you. Marc was always the coolest. He would disappear for long stretches at a time, but every time I saw him again, it was a big hug. He genuinely wanted to know what I was up to and how life was going. I’ll never forget the time I got to spend with you. Rest easy, my friend.show more

I got the notification and froze. It didn’t register... what I was clicking on. And then the second I did a head count up to 7, I burst into tears. And then I did not stop crying until about an hour ago. What surprised me was that I didn’t realise that I was still holding my breath. I didn’t know. I thought I felt that release when I saw them all on June 13th and then again on June 21st when yoongi posted on weverse. I was wrong. Because apparently, I was still only half relieved. Only half breathing. There was a part of me that was still aching, still incomplete. It’s occurring to me right now that I’ve just been brushing it off, the feeling that there was still a weight on my chest. All it took was to see 7 together on that live and the wind got knocked right out of my lungs. And everything broke. I broke. That heaviness on my chest vanished. You might call it an overreaction. Maybe it is. I don’t know. But hearing them all together, their laughter, seeing their faces, seeing yoongi— my heart genuinely felt like it was broken and put back together. It’s crazy how much I love them. How much they mean to me. Can’t believe this is it. We made it. This is what it was all for. Everything that happened, everything we fought for, everything we endured. Everytime we pushed back, everytime we stood our ground, all of it. It was for this. It was for them. So that they could come back with full confidence that their army was right where they left us. Here. Waiting. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Welcome back, 방탄소년단. Welcome home.show more

I was informed that the team will be seeking... a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA. Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember. I have taken so much pride in playing alongside my teammates for the LA community, so thank you for embracing my family and making this such a special place for us. 2024 began with one of the best training camps of my career. Preparations start now for 2025. Highly motivated, as healthy as ever, and looking forward to playing elite football for years to come. Love you guys.. But coming for it all.show more

The past year has seen me have a renaissance,... in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, Factor Bikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me.show more

Here is an example of what I mean by... my post I quoted. There was nothing on the road, yet FSD 14.2 went over the line and ripples to avoid whatever it may have imagined. I was startled for a second and can only imagine the shock for someone trying FSD for the very first time. No, the car in the opposite lane did not come over to my side either Again, that alone would have been enough for my wife's solid "Nope, I am not using that."
