While I have premium I definitely want to do... a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. I’m probably one of the only Teslanaires out there,... if not one of the very few, still cutting my own hair. I cut my own hair again today, and it reminded me that becoming a multi-millionaire usually isn’t a random coincidence. People see the $ and think it just happened. What they usually don’t see are the small habits behind it. Of course, I could go spend $25–$50 on a haircut that probably looks better than the one I give myself. But that’s not really what matters to me. I don’t care that much about looking perfect. I care about controlling my time. I care about staying grounded. I care about keeping the kind of habits that helped me build wealth in the first place. And honestly, I enjoy doing it. I’ve been cutting my own hair for so many years that I don’t even think about going to the barber anymore. It’s just normal to me now. It saves time, keeps me frugal, and reminds me that wealth is usually built in the small choices nobody claps for. That’s the part people miss. A lot of people see wealth and assume it was luck. But a lot of the time, it’s really the result of small disciplined habits repeated for years. Not wasting $ just bc you can. Not wasting time just bc other people do. And the funny part is, one day my fleet of Tesla Bots will probably be doing it for me anyway. But until then, I’m good doing it myself. Bc to me, being wealthy was never about trying to look rich. You may not know this about me. During COVID... I attempted for 3 years to build a bridge from the farm gate to the local town. We were the center of the plate of many local restaurants, as well as portioned controlled meats for major food distributors. We went from 6 to 46 employees 20k a month to 800k/month. But it didn't just take my 46... it took a constellation of other people filling in the gaps. Tearing it down was just as much work as building it. I am proud of where I stand now with everyone involved. I grew more with that storm. For a while I was embarrassed that I couldn't make this thing run forward. One day I decided to look at it from a different angle. I decoupled experience from failure. Today I want to facilitate whatever it takes to pick up the pieces of what I learned to help whoever it is that wants to be part of the change in direction. I don't want to own the damn thing. I watched Robot on the Road and honestly I... did not really know what to expect going in At the beginning it just feels like a pretty normal little road trip setup with this robot hitchhiking around Japan and it almost gives off a chill slice of life vibe But it does not stay like that for long The more it goes on the more you realize the robot is doing some really questionable stuff and the way it focuses on women without their consent makes the whole thing feel really uncomfortable By the end I was not really sure if I was supposed to find it funny or just feel weird about it Overall it feels like one of those shorts that tries to mix dark humor with awkward situations but it mostly just ends up being unsettlingshow more

Obviously I would love to play some of the other courses: I haven't played Merion. I'm honestly kind of bummed that I hadn't played here beforehand because I selfishly would have tried to go play Merion while I was here, but I feel like it's in my best interest and my job to play the golf course that I'm playing this week. I feel like obviously to me, it's just a different style and a different look of golf up here. There's a place that's really close by that I was driving past, and they all look so cool. I kind of think of it similar to like in Scotland or Ireland: there's no bad golf courses it seems like you can play, you know what I mean? They all look so unique. They have the old templates, the old kind of architecture and the crazy green complexes, the bunkering. Just something about the bent fairways and the rye, bluegrass rough, how it just kind of shapes the hole. It looks really cool. I think that there's so many, so many great courses that I'm sure we could have tournaments like this at, but just the infrastructure and the property itself don't allow for all of it. I've rewritten this several times, but I can't find... any better way to say it... so here it goes. One of the things I'm scared of most, is time. Particularly, time that is wasted. There's a sundial that hangs on my wall with an inscription that says, "I have done nothing good today, I have lost a day." X has always been a place where I wanted to put out things that didn't waste anyone's time. Whatever post I put out, whatever thought, whatever story, comment,... whatever it was, was worth the time for you to read it, and for me to create it. Because I know, in my bones, that the time we have is precious and thought of wasting even a minute of yours or mine doing something worthless, is genuinely one of my greatest fears. As we were walking down this mountain together, my son looks up at me and says, "Dad... God made me VERY good at hiking." I laughed and say, "Yeah he did!" A couple minutes go by and he stops, he turns at looks at me, and goes: "Dad, God made you VERY good at work and work is very important..." That got me. I often worry that my work pulls me too far away from my kids. “Paano ba ‘to from now on?” I wasn’t expecting... they would drop that. I can’t even type it out because I don’t want it to be real, but it is what it is, and I fully respect that. It was a hard decision, for sure, and yes, it is scary if you look at it from here on, but I am all for their growth. It brings me comfort that that decision was made to grow more individually as an artist and as a person. I’m just so proud that they were brave enough to take on that, knowing all the uncertainties that are laced into that decision. As a fan, it is still hard to process all of that for now, but I know that no matter what happens, they will always have each other and nobody can take away what they have and what they have built throughout the years. So, my opinion on what the Antarctic (Antarctica) Anomaly... is that it's a type of frequency technology. It must be way more powerful than HAARP, as many have claimed it to be, because we would see these anomalies at other HAARP sites, and we don't, not like this. With that said, and I'm very much trying to avoid letting what I want it to be not play a part here, I think it is a technology that is being used either off the coast of Antarctica itself or Bouvet Island. A third possibility is an area just to the northwest of the island that looks odd. It's possible it is a sonar scan from a ship, but why in that remote location? It looks like an antenna set up or rows of something that is out of place. I also believe that the weather events and fires that have taken place in Africa could possibly have been because of this. Each time we saw the anomaly, it was followed by a destructive weather event in Africa. A weird connection to that is we have been told and warned of a very busy 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. This is in part because of the above-average Atlantic ocean temperatures, which is the fuel to Hurricanes. With all this info, it's possible to see how the Anomaly could be a frequency tech that can manipulate or create weather, And or WARM up the Ocean temps to purposely enhance the Hurricane season and Storm growth. Keep in mind that many of our hurricanes and many of the biggest hurricanes have come from the west coast of Africa and form over the Cape Verde islands before heading towards the Caribbean and the United States. This is all of course speculation, and I'm learning many new things every day, so this idea may morph over time as we learn more. It's hard to overstate the level of hatred this... mindset creates in men. Even I didn't get it. Maybe I still don't. But pay attention, because this meme or something like it crops up in the background all the time. The only way I can think to describe it is "Pre-Cucking". Which to us sounds kinda... out there, but men seem to have an intuitive grasp of it as a concept. Her: "How can you be jealous of men I slept with before I even knew you? Nic is actually one of those people that looked... perfect on the show but the more you keep up after, the more things just start… not adding up. It’s like everything he does has a layer of performance to it. The “good guy” image is a bit too polished, the way he moves is very calculated, and you can tell he’s very aware of how he wants to be perceived at all times. That kind of thing always cracks eventually. With Olandria I must laugh cause she’s blinded by her delusions, it’s nice on the surface, but if you’ve been paying attention, there are little moments that feel off. Not enough for people to clock immediately, but enough to make you side-eye. And that’s usually how it starts small inconsistencies before the real slip. I don’t think he’s as genuine as people want him to be, and honestly, it’s only a matter of time before something happens that people can’t defend or spin. The people who made the OVAs shown from time and time again that they have faith in their viewers that they'll be able to understand the world building that culminated to this point. You can start the other shows prior to this, either before or after this OVA and it will still feel like a proper climax leading up to this. The story beats in this show are pretty good in the sense that anyone can understand it, it's not universally profound but it does a good job in highlighting perspectives of every side and have a glimpse at what happened that lead up to it.show more
