El Whisky reporta directamente a Manuel Irán Fontes Salazar, alias “Cabo 10”. El Whisky nació el 24 de julio de 1998 en el municipio de Cajeme. La letra de su corrido "Los Minis de Caborca" dice que Whisky comenzó a trabajar para el cártel con Cabo 10 cuando tenía 14 años. Whisky publicó un video de sí mismo conduciendo por Nogales. El Whisky is a direct report under Manuel Irán Fontes Salazar, alias “Cabo 10”. El Whisky was born on July 24, 1998, in Cajeme municipality. The lyrics of his Minis de Caborca corrido say that Whisky began working for the cartel with Cabo 10 when he was 14 years old. Whisky posted a video of himself driving around Nogales. The video shows a baseball cap which pays homage to Cabo 10 on his dashboard and the caption of the video expresses a similar sentiment. El Whisky is known to have commissioned the corridos "Traigo En Alto la Bandera" by los Minis de Caborca and "El Whisky" by Kompa Marley & Dani Tapia. On May 14 2024, El Whisky was detained alongside Dani Tapia, the singer of one of his corridos, while driving a stolen red Jeep. An AK47 style firearm featuring the words “Wizky Salazar” was seized from inside their vehicle. It’s believed that Whisky and Tapia were released soon after.
