They argue that immigration enforcement is federal law, not oppression. That national borders aren’t “optional.” That schools should teach civics, not cultivate protest culture. They point out a simple reality: ICE exists because immigration laws exist. If laws passed by Congress are framed as immoral by default, what message does that send to the next generation about the rule of law itself? This wasn’t just a walkout. AFCON 2025 🇲🇦 You cant blame a country for... fans failing to turn out for every match in an AFCON tournament. The problem in Africa is that we are poor in mentality and wealth. Our friends in Europe plan to watch such games a year in advance and they travel to watch them Where it is hosted. For them, things like going on vacation and enjoying recreational activities like football ⚽️ is part of life. Fans from Africa failing to travel for AFCON is not a Moroccan 🇲🇦 problem. It’s an issue with lack of patronage for African football from we Africans. The onus lies with football fans in Africa like yourself and myself to play your own part by buying tickets and going to support your team at live games at AFCON. This is how it is done in other continents, it’s not rocket science. CAF also has to come up with promotional strategies to increase awareness and fan participation across Africa. Even if AFCON was held in Nigeria 🇳🇬 you don't expect all fans to go and watch Benin play Angola fans from those countries must also come and support their teams its their duty . Maybe some coaches will chime in on this…. But... this is how I’m seeing it right now. I think you’re going to see more and more two way guys coming on the scene in college baseball. Here is why. The rosters are going down to 34 man rosters. You will be needing 2-4 guys who can eat up an inning or two and be able to produce in the field and at the plate. Those numbers may be even higher than that. Years ago when a college told you- you can two way, it typically meant we are brining you in, youll have a short leash and your most likely going to be a PO. Now it’s a legit thing. Schools will need much more versatility- If you can pitch and hit AND play multiple spots on the field. Your stock will rise this year and years beyond. A primary school just outside Glasgow – St James... Primary in Renfrew – has been letting adult migrants onto the school grounds for basic English lessons. While our own children are trying to learn inside. Foreign men with completely different cultural beliefs, wandering around a site full of kids. Parents weren’t even told. No consultation, no safeguarding checks shared, nothing. Parents are absolutely furious – and rightly so. Dozens of children have been pulled out of school over this. Up to 70 by some reports. Why on earth would any sane person think it’s acceptable to turn a primary school into an immigration integration centre? Our schools are for British children first. Not adult asylum seekers or economic migrants getting free taxpayer-funded lessons on the same grounds. The council caved and moved the classes after the backlash – but the question remains: who thought this was a good idea in the first place? We finally pulled the plug on per day pricing.... It had to be done. The problem with per day pricing is it always creates winners and losers. - If we’re on site for 8 hours and don’t quite finish, we feel obligated to work extra to get it done. We lose. - If we finish a project in 5 hours and the customer paid for 8, they feel like they lost. It’s a simple system to start with. Customers understand it, it’s easy to quote, but it’s not scalable. It relies too much on experience and too much back and forth. So we switched to project based pricing. Now we’ve got 3 tiers of brush density and 3 tiers of terrain. Tier 1 is easy, Tier 3 is tough. Pricing scales per quarter acre, with volume discounts on larger jobs. It seems more complex on paper, but in reality it’s repeatable, reliable, and something we can train any new hire to do. We calculate the project, send the estimate, and that’s it. No more “estimated days” language. No more winners and losers. We’re much happier with this system.show more
