The Daniel Jones Achilles injury is awful in so... many ways. But I do want to shed a light on his toughness. He was already playing with a broken bone in his fibula… Then he ruptured his Achilles and still chose to walk off the field instead of using a cart. And later in the game, he was back on the sideline supporting his teammates and helping QB Riley Leonard. This man’s toughness, competitiveness, and love for the sport and his teammates are unquestioned. And that deserves respect.show more

As I always say, comps are never enough to... judge a player (credit to Brazil Scout on YT / Brazil Scout on X), but this moment from Ifeanyi Ndukwe really caught my eye. For someone who’s close to 2 meters tall, the agility and footwork here are genuinely impressive. He bends his knees to drop his centre of gravity, adjusts his angle well, and crucially maintains a side-on stance instead of opening up. He stays on his toes for most of the sequence, only getting caught flat-footed right at the end. Even then, his reach compensates, allowing him to poke the ball away from distance. I remember watching his for Austria U17 vs Italy U17 a while back. He came on in the second half and didnt do a lot for me to note down, but his positioning and awareness were another strong qualities that I remember.show more

Re: Christopher Ewert whose #UFC317 fight was canceled earlier... today: His coach Javier Torres tells me Ewert got the UFC call at 1:30 on Tuesday. He weighed 217 then and got down to 195 between fight week obligations. Eventually, his body stopped cooperating and the remaining pounds wouldn’t come off despite workouts, sauna, etc. The UFC stepped in around 9:15 and canceled the fight. It’s unclear what’s next. Ewert was scheduled for DWCS vs. Yuri Panferov on Aug. 12. It’s unclear if Ewert will be reinserted there or not.show more

Back in 2025, Giannis hung out with some media... and Heat staffers after the Bucks/Heat post game interviews in the away Locker Room to watch the rest of the Duke-Houston Final Four matchup. He missed the first team bus and then the second one to watch it. He was the last Bucks player in the Locker Room. The rest of the team? Well…..it was a Saturday night in Miami. Nate Walker MUST be investigated. He was with Charlie... the morning of 9/10, ordered the DoorDash, picked Charlie’s clothes for the day. He placed binders (not used on other campus tours). Then casually watched Charlie be killed. After Charlie was killed, he went up above the Hall of Flags… coolly put on his sunglasses and walked away (less than 2 minutes after 💥).
