This is the guy who will win back working... class voters? Here’s what he said about working class people. "You're just a fuckin' punchcard. You go in and do your job somehow, I don't know how. Fuck workers. Those workers can suck my dick. I never said all workers are smart."show more

Alex Karp from Palantir on CNBC just now dropping... a truth bomb. “More people have died from fentanyl in the last year than all service members since World War 2. And almost all those people are working class and that’s why no one cares. If they were Yale grads, you’d have a bomb being dropped on some South American country and it would stop.” Interesting commentary especially in light of the Trump administration’s decision to sink known drug smuggling boats coming in from South America who just happen to be “fishing” in the Gulf of America while speeding along at 100mph. Are the lives of working class Americans worth less?show more

It’s one of those Mondays where I find myself... watching Patty Sharp highlights at lunch while I muck a sushi roll that hopefully hasn’t been sitting around the raw bar since Friday. Sharp Shooter was so nasty. The flow, the sock tape job, how #10 fit so clean under the block letters of SHARP. The biggest unsung hero of the 2010 Stanley Cup team. Lead the team in goals. Always a point per game during the 3 cup winning teams. Patty Ferda. All time 📞📞show more

🚨 President Trump just posted on Truth Social mocking... what Bruce Springsteen looks like these days on the outside — sharing this fake, exaggerated image of The Boss. Yes, it’s a doctored/fake photo (he looks far rougher than in real life). But what it really represents is what Springsteen has become on the inside after years of being stricken with severe TDS. Bitter, angry, and unrecognizable from the working-class hero he once was. This AI video captures that transformation perfectly. A cautionary tale for all: Let politics consume you, and it’ll show — inside and out. (Video: AI)show more

You can't put into words what Paul Mullin means... to Wrexham. For all his heroics on the pitch, he transcended it through his connection with the fans and the community. He gave his all for the club and delivered when it mattered the most, time and time again. The type of goalscorer a generation was told about but had never seen themselves. The man who turned us all into believers and made those dreams come true. A victim of his own success, he propelled us up the leagues so quickly that we didn't get to enjoy him long enough. To do what he did while missing two pre-seasons is absurd. Most of all, he is a great person. Someone who always puts his family first and stands up for what he believes in. A working-class lad from Litherland, who became a global star. A true Wrexham legend and one of the very best to ever wear the shirt 👑 #WxmAFCshow more

California Insanity: Increasing Taxes on Private Health Insurance Even... More to Fund Free Healthcare for Illegal Immigrants — (Video: AI) While working Californians get hit with higher premiums from Sacramento Democrats’ new MCO tax on private plans (potentially $400+ per family this year alone), Gavin Newsom continues pouring $10 billion into free Medi-Cal healthcare for illegal immigrants. As Newsom might put it: “I’m raising taxes on private health insurance, at the same time I’m spending over $10 billion this year on free healthcare for illegal immigrants. How do you like that?!” Priorities? Tax the middle class to subsidize open borders spending, all while families struggle with sky-high costs of living. Is this the “compassion” California deserves — or just more proof the system is completely broken? What do you think needs to change? Share if you’re fed up with this madness.show more

I’m heartbroken. I don’t have many words other than... to say I’m truly devastated and deeply sorry to everyone who showed up to the main stage, and to those watching the livestream at home. Having the opportunity to perform the new ÆDEN show and share all the new music and art means more to me than I can express. It’s incredibly painful, especially after working day and night for the past year, not just me, but my team and the Coachella crew, who poured everything into this. Safety was and always will be our biggest concern. The dangerous winds not only prevented us and Coachella from building our stage, but also made it impossible for my entire live setup and performance to operate safely. Unfortunately, there are no other slots available for me to perform the ÆDEN show this weekend. I’m working on a solution to bring you some music at least, but I don’t want to impose on the other artists’ slots. Updates soon. I’m so sorry. Matteoshow more

Who, beyond the well-known and much-profiled Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Zohran... Mamdani, and Jon Ossoff, are the young people most likely to rebuild the Democratic Party? The bright lights of the next generation don’t fit into easy classifications. They include a seminarian, a waitress, an oysterman, and a semiconductor heiress. There are Bernie-endorsed socialists and iconoclastic centrists. Some are eyeing a national stage, others are staying adamantly local. Some already have a decade of experience; others are fresh upstarts proving themselves. We spent months talking with professionals who recruit and support young candidates to identify the party’s next generation, and we called dozens of political operatives, consultants, and strategists—and granted them all anonymity so they could dish about the nominees candidly. The nominators didn’t all agree, and, of course, had their own perspectives and agendas, but through those conversations, we found the 25 most promising rising Democratic leaders who have yet to become household names. Armed with our list of politicians under 40, photographer Elinor Kry hit the road in a minivan to meet and photograph a dozen or so of the next generation of Democrats. Kry shot her portfolio over a month, hauling a tufted armchair onto boats, truck beds, football fields, construction sites, and suburban cul-de-sacs to capture these officials and candidates on their home turf. Not all of these hopefuls will win their elections this month or next year, but all are worth watching. Although they don’t run the country yet, the visions of these young politicians speak to the problems the party is grappling with: how to deliver on working-class issues, expand the party’s tent while holding onto its values, and stand up to the current administration:show more

Holy shit. Four and a half years. My role... as Marketing & PR Manager at Syscoin has officially ended, and I needed to write this before I posted anything else. So please, stop DM'ing me about Binance AMA's for $200 and telegram trade groups that have all the alpha, and 100k "active" members in them lol. The day I knew web3 was going to be the industry I live and die in started in Dubai. Binance Blockchain Week, March 2022. We threw what I still think was one of the best side events in blockchain history at the time, and from that night forward we had a standard. Syscoin stayed the true web3 vibe that everyone else strayed away from for casinos and meme tokens that died 2 years later. We always had the vibe. The right room, the right people, the right energy. That became the rhythm of the next four years for us. Syscoin stayed imitated but never duplicated over the next four years. Austin. Nashville. Las Vegas. Colombia, Singapore, Dubai, Davos. Medellín, where I first met Fernando Paredes at Devconnect, in a room full of builders who were actually building. Conferences and events all blur together when you've been to enough of them. But the side rooms don't. The 1am conversations don't. Those are the moments that built the network. Those are the moments I'll carry. Through every one of those rooms I had the honor of working alongside some of the biggest names in this industry. VC's, Founders, exchange leadership, protocol engineers, journalists, influencers and KOLs who actually move markets, builders shipping in silence. The kind of access most people in this space never get and with current industry conditions may actually never get again. I never took a single one of those rooms or connections for granted if you can't already tell by my X following. Behind all of it, the receipts that don't fit on a tweet. Over 400 terabytes of content, video, graphics, strategies, brand systems, blueprints, four years of building the marketing engine for a chain trying to scale Bitcoin without compromise. Thousands of hours, research, everything we needed to make it through cycle after cycle with our integrity, honesty and trust intact. Hundreds of strategies and playbooks that never even made it to market. There were good times. There were bad times. Anyone who tells you a four-year run inside a top-tier crypto project was all good times is selling you some straight bullshit. The project came out the other side. The team came out the other side. The work continued. That matters more than the noise. To everyone who made this run what it was. Every founder who picked up a call, every KOL who actually showed up, every journalist who took the meeting, every member of the community who never asked for anything but stayed loyal anyway. Thank you. So what's next for me? This astronaut isn't leaving the field. He's walking into the Wasteland of what he's had to watch our industry become over the last decade. Somewhere out there is the oasis. I'm going deep into AI. AI infrastructure and AI-native marketing, the place where autonomous agents, content systems, and Web3 product strategy actually meet. The next decade will define what the next century holds and I'm here to capture that. I've spent the last two years quietly building in that lane and I'm ready to make it the lane. If you're still in Web3, AI, or the seam where the two collide, my DMs are open. What a ride. — 1DCshow more

A much belated life update - I’ve sold my... company, The League, to The Match Group! WE’VE BEEN CALLED UP TO THE BIG LEAGUES! We’re now competing in the same arena as the most successful dating brands in the world, so I’m hiring a world-class Head of Marketing & Head of Product to help me take The League ALL THE WAY. If you know great talent, I’d love for you to share this🙏 I am so grateful to everyone who got us here, especially those who helped me in the very early days when I was juggling - and struggling. When she saw my first logo attempt, Laura, my college bestie, told me it was the ugliest thing she had ever seen & begged me to let her redo it (hers is still in use!). She then took over all things design, giving The League a consistent & premium brand identity from day 1, fixing my design travesties in record speed & preventing our brand from devolving into one that stood for clip-art. My (undiagnosed) ADHD meant I was terrible at opening mail, reviewing invoices & contracts, filing out tax forms, or being precise about payroll & its peculiar payment windows. In true helicopter-mom form, Mama Bradford stepped in to handle this blocking & tackling, & the workers rejoiced! My brother pointed out mistakes I made when coding our first matching algorithm (like not normalizing like-rate by gender), & stepped in to write ETL scripts so he could analyze our data and improve our match rate. As signups skyrocketed, I wasn’t reviewing applicants in a timely fashion (yes those long waitlist times were in part due to my ineptitude), so Mollie, my bff since 14, moved to San Francisco to take over our vetting process, ensuring we drafted a diverse founding class of All-Stars. When I was drowning in support tickets, Jeff (my best friend’s husband) & Meredith (my first employee who became a best friend), replaced me as League Concierge so I could fix bugs & hire an engineering leader to rewrite the app for scale. I feel blessed I had my mom, brother, & best friends to lean on at the beginning of what I can only describe as a roller-coaster-marathon journey. Their heavy lifting allowed me to get The League off the ground, & turn it into a profitable business attractive to Match, all on $2.3M raised. Fast forward nearly 9 years & now, with Match behind us, we can finally swing for the fences to fulfill The League’s potential to be much more than a dating app for ambitious singles. We’re leveraging their best-in-class trust & safety AI tools & sophisticated ML systems refined over decades that we could not have built ourselves. We’re investing in marketing (new campaign coming soon) & hiring Execs - I can finally hand over the product & marketing reins to better operators than myself. As for me? I’ll get to focus on our long-term roadmap & envision the future of dating. Who knows, maybe I’ll even start writing that book recounting the hilarious & shocking things I’ve seen while working in the business of love - and while using my own app to date 😉 Would you read it? ------------------------------------------ Help me take The League to the Big Leagues! I opened my gym, WildCardBoxingClub , in hopes that... the next Muhammad Ali would walk through the door. Little did I know that in 2001, my Muhammad Ali would weigh 122 pounds. His name was Manny Pacquiao and he was and still is the pride of the Philippines. For twenty years, after Manny and I first did mitts in the ring at Wild Card, we trained together for some of the biggest fights. As his collection of world championship belts grew, so did his presence in boxing and the world. Today’s announcement that Manny will be a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 makes me incredibly proud. As much as I loved working together with Manny all those years, I’m even happier sharing the same wall with him at the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Congratulations, Manny. You deserve this. You are and will always be my Muhammad Ali. #livinglegend #mannypacquiao #legend #boxer #fighter #champion #worldchampion #goat #wildcardboxing #wildcardboxingclub #boxing #family #community #Philippines #freddieroach #trainer #USA #HallOfFame #IBHOF #history #boxinglife #fightlife #TeamPacquiao Fred Sternburg WildCardBoxingStore UFC Store Sean Gibbons Top Rank Boxing … Photos owned by and taken by Vortex Photosshow more
