California fast food is taking another major hit: A... large Carl’s Jr. operator has filed for bankruptcy and is putting nearly 50 locations across the state up for sale. The reason? Gavin Newsom’s $20 minimum wage law that jacked up labor costs and made it impossible to keep the doors open profitably. This means lost jobs, shuttered restaurants, and higher prices for customers. Progressive policies in action — driving businesses out and hurting the very workers they claim to help. This AI video is a representation of what a minimum wage too high looks like. Do you think progressives will ever learn? (Video: AI)show more

ONE PROMPT WON'T MAKE YOU RICH👀 It won’t change... your life overnight. And it won’t solve all your problems. But the right prompt can do something much more important. It can reveal things you hadn’t noticed before. Most people use AI to find answers. But the most useful prompts work differently. They make you ask yourself questions. > What’s really holding you back? > What decisions have you been putting off for months? > What are you wasting your time on, convincing yourself it’s important? Sometimes, one honest answer is more valuable than a hundred motivational videos and dozens of books. That’s exactly why I liked this prompt. It doesn’t try to impress with complexity. It helps you see your situation from the outside. Spend a few minutes on it. Perhaps a single conversation with AI will give you more clarity than you expect.show more

Is there any real "due diligence" done by the... 🅰️people? All of their points seem empty, vague, and very handwavy, at least that's the feeling I get. It seems to be confirmed when it comes down to the facts, they try to apply that same vague speculatory mindset they use regarding Starlink, arriving at a conclusion that always seems to be wrong. How many guesses have been propagated as truth? How many small differences have been exaggerated so large that they become the very core of their position? Probably a lot, because the trend I see is to take a kernel of truth and cover it with heavy layers of lies and speculation. I like what ASTS is doing, but the community makes it pretty hard to know what's actually significant, and the truth is, it's pretty hard to tell until both constellations are built and delivering data to customers. The issue is that most of them likely have a huge amount of money riding on the company, so they'll take anything and go with it solely for the comfort factor.show more

I've seen a lot of animatics lately that are... super detailed, essentially viewport previews of the final shot. But an animatic at it's core doesn't need to be anything fancy. Its main purpose is to plan and test the timing, camera angles, movement, and overall composition. With animatics you have to keep in mind the following: Pre-visualization: It allows to see a basic version of the animation or scene before committing to detailed work. Timing and pacing: An animatic helps identify how long each scene or shot should last, ensuring that the timing feels right. Planning: It helps with layout, camera angles, and transitions. By visualizing the shots, the team can ensure that the framing and overall design of the scenes work well in 3D space. Efficiency: It allows the team to test and fix any potential issues early on, like awkward movements or awkward pacing, before spending time on high-quality rendering or complex animation. In short, an animatic helps in conceptualizing the final animation by giving a low-res, rough version of the scenes, which guides the entire production process in terms of visual design, timing, and storytelling.show more

stoked to share that after 15+ years away from... the industry, i’m returning to work with restaurants… i joined Owner last week! i worked in restaurants from 14 to 22, so this one feels super personal. i saw firsthand how locally-owned restaurants become pillars of their communities AND how insanely hard they are to run as businesses. between big chains with massive marketing budgets and delivery apps taking a cut of every online order, owners today have even more to contend with. that’s where we come in. we help independent restaurants build stronger relationships with their customers, so they can compete with the big chains and keep more of what they earn. very excited to work alongside Darrin Henein Adam Whitcroft Anthony Menecola Jonathan Minori and everyone else on this stacked team of 10. we're hiring for both product and brand, so please reach out.show more

Our latest safety innovation is scanning wheels to catch... potential defects, all while we keep rolling. Meet the Wheel Integrity System: 🚂 HOW IT WORKS ⚙️ Six synchronized cameras capture about 55 ultra-high-resolution images of every wheel at speeds up to 70 mph. AI algorithms analyze those images to detect subtle defects that are difficult for the human eye to identify consistently. Wheel defects are among the most serious mechanical defects in the industry. This technology helps our railroaders act faster, enhancing safety, reducing service disruptions, and protecting long-term asset performance. NS is proud to be the first railroad to deploy a vision‑based system that identifies cracks before they break — powered by our own technology and built through collaboration across multiple NS teams, with integration support from the Georgia Tech Research.show more

Consumers who fill petrol or diesel should be cautious... and check the meter reading carefully.⛽️ At the Indian Oil Corp Ltd petrol pump — Lakshmamma & Sons, Devegowda Road, RT Nagar, Bengaluru — our cameraman and several customers noticed irregularities while refueling. During the filling process, the meter showed variations of 4, 5, 6, 10, or even 15 ml or more, differing with the amount filled by each consumer. Several consumers questioned the staff, leading to arguments. The manager claimed it was due to gun “calibration” issues. A complaint has been raised with IOCL Bengaluru, and a firm reply is awaited. But how can calibration keep changing for every fill? Is this normal or something amiss? Many consumers have noticed this — have you too? #Bengaluru #IOCL #PetrolPump #RTNagar #ConsumerAlertshow more

Getting from $1M to $100M in ARR took us... 18 months. The second hundred took less than six. Last week Legora passed $200M. 130,000 lawyers now use Legora on a monthly basis, across 2,100 firms and legal teams in more than 80 countries. Two things from this year I would not have predicted: The first is how fast the US moved. 18 months ago we had no office in North America. Today over half of the AmLaw 50 work with us, out of our offices in New York, Denver, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco and Toronto. The US is our largest market by revenue. The second is where the demand is coming from. More than 40% of our new customers are now in-house legal teams, including Air Canada, Salesforce and Palo Alto Networks. Two thank-yous, before we get back to work. To our customers, who backed a small company from Stockholm with a lot to prove, and who still tell us plainly when we get something wrong. And to the team, engineers and lawyers sitting next to each other, who turn that into something better, faster than any group I have worked with.show more

If I was asked to give a single piece... of advice to the world, it would be these three words: Bias toward action. Too many people wait for the right time, the right circumstances, or the right feeling before doing something. So they end up doing nothing… paralyzed by fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Take Margot’s advice: Have that hard conversation Say hi to that cute guy/girl Say yes to that invitation Ask for that promotion Start that side hustle Go to that meetup Post that tweet Take that trip Consistently biasing toward action makes success inevitable. Not just because effort produces results, but because action is fuel for serendipity—the most powerful unseen force in the universe. 🎟️ Raffle tickets often say, “Must be present to claim prize”. Life works the same way. The biggest wins look like luck, but they’re really the inevitable result of showing up over and over. Everything you want is downstream from action. Do something. Anything. When you start to walk the way, the way appears.show more

Jensen Huang just killed every AI replacement narrative on... contact. NVIDIA’s engineers use AI to write most of their code. The company is hiring more engineers than ever. Huang: “AI basically does most of our coding. And yet, we’re hiring more engineers than ever, we have more challenges than ever, we have bigger dreams than ever, our ambitions are greater than ever.” AI didn’t shrink NVIDIA’s workforce. It exposed how much ambition was trapped behind human bandwidth. The printing press didn’t produce fewer writers. The internet didn’t produce fewer publishers. No tool in history has permanently reduced demand for human effort. Because humans don’t use tools to do less. They use them to want more. Ambition is elastic. It expands to fill whatever capacity becomes available. Always has. Always will. Every economist forecasting mass displacement is measuring the wrong variable. They count the jobs that disappear. They never count the ambitions that take their place. Huang isn’t running a leaner company. He’s running a wider one. That gap will define who survives the next decade. Companies using AI to cut headcount will be destroyed by companies using AI to attempt what was never possible before. The machines aren’t coming for your job. They’re coming for your ceiling. Most people won’t know which one hit them.show more

Have you all seen the mosque being built at... Shiashie? It is a very huge non-governmental project. Look at how fast, organised and efficiently the project is being executed. Now, I have some serious questions. ⁉️ Why does it take government 8 to 16 years to complete some projects that are supposed to serve the good people of Ghana, despite all the resources, taxes and loans available to the government? This mosque project is making me ask a very simple question: What are we doing wrong with government projects? If a non-governmental organisation can mobilise resources, plan properly and execute a massive project at this speed, why can't government do the same with projects funded by the taxpayers' money? Ghanaians deserve answers. 🇬🇭 #Ghana #Development #Accountability #PublicProjects #ValueForMoneyshow more

There's a story behind this drink. I'll tell... later. —— 🐻❄ "Ohh Nong New, I'm a Polca and a Peraya as well" But before this, what did she do? 🐻❄ So I wanted to order snacks. Their shop closes at 4 but I was there at 3:57 so I asked if they're still open and they said they still open. I saw some snacks and wanted to eat it, but it will take time to prepare, right? and I was considering their closing time. So I asked which one I can still order, she said "You can order anything, we can do any menu" but I went bipolar mode, I changed my mind after few minutes. Because I have work next, I have to drive next, and it would be difficult. I said I'll then just take the drink, so I can take away. The lady said something with her staff like, "Then why did he ask?" But at the time, she was inside, right? 🐻❄ Yes, and because she's familiar with my voice, she then go out to see me. Turns out, she knows me. 🐻❄ She then gave me some snacks. It's so delicious. The matcha also delicious. She also gave some for Khun Tay. Thank you, it's delicious.show more

Everyone thought he was crazy for quitting his finance... job to sell ice cream. Today, his novelty brand is available in 5,000+ stores, including Whole Foods, Erewhon, Bristol Farms, and The Fresh Market. Here's how to do the same: Step 1: Find the big idea David's advice: Ask yourself what's missing? - Look around at the way you live - Write down the products you love - Ask yourself: what would improve my quality of life? How can I make something that is 5-10x better than what exists? For David, the missing thing was a way to satisfy his sweet tooth with portion controlled & snackable products like Nestle’s Dibs. As someone who was lactose-intolerant and had issues with dairy, there weren't many options. And so, his dream snack, Dream Pops, was born! Step 2. Make your prototype David's advice: It doesn't have to be perfect. In the early days, David was making samples in his mom's kitchen by hand. One thing entrepreneurs get wrong? Trying to launch something perfect. If you're prototyping a food product, follow his advice: - Create a delicious and unique product - Differentiate with your packaging & branding - Iterate in small format grocery stores and get feedback from your customers before launching into national accounts Step 3. Put your product out there David's advice: Get your product in as many hands as possible—any way you can. Some ideas: - Host pop-ups with like-minded brands. Some brick and mortar brands were willing to pay $5K-$10K for a tailored “ice cream social”’ event with custom packaging. Revenue + awareness = free marketing. - Personally do samplings at local grocery stores to get real-time feedback from your customers. What do they love about the product? What do they hate? Those are your golden nuggets. Step 4. Scale thoughtfully David's advice: Don't get tempted by a big retailer with thousands of stores out the gate. Getting into a huge retailer can kill your business if you aren’t ready. Don't chase revenue and door count. Consider profitability, product quality, and overall risk. Some retailers require you to pay "slotting" where you spend $50K to $150K+ to be on the shelf for eight months. If you don't perform? You're out. The risk is massive and can put you out of business before you have the opportunity to flourish. Instead, find independent grocery stores and regional grocers with 3-10 locations and scale slowly – laser-focused on profitability and velocity. Today, Dream Pops is a multi-million dollar brand sold at Whole Foods, Safeway Albertsons, Acme, Shaws, Erewhon, ShopRite, The Fresh Market, Fresh Thyme, GoPuff, CVS, Thrive Market, and many more. This is your reminder to tune out all the noise, trust your intuition & keep building. Want to get 1:1 advice from a CPG industry expert? Hey everyone, it’s me, Liz. ❤️ I wanted to... take a quick minute to clear something up because I saw a comment saying my account is run by AI or that I’m not a real person. I completely understand why that confusion happens — a lot of my videos are made with AI tools to help create beautiful visuals and smooth delivery. But I want you to know with all my heart: I am a real person. Behind every message, every positive word, and every bit of love I share here, it’s really me. I’m the one typing, feeling, and caring about all of you. The AI just helps me put the videos together so they look nice and reach more people — but the kindness, the thoughts, and the intention are 100% mine. I started this account to spread light, encouragement, and love, and that comes straight from my real human heart. Thank you for following me, for your sweet comments, and for being part of this little community. It truly means the world to me. If you’ve ever wondered or felt unsure, I hope this helps. I’m right here, just a regular person who loves connecting with all of you. Keep spreading kindness with me — the world needs more of it! Sending you all a big hug. See you in the next video. 🩷show more
