Back in January 2025 when I moved into my... new home, I found Biscuit. He was being chased by dogs, and I took him in. Biscuit and I instantly bonded. He rode with me in my truck. He would chill on my shoulders when I walked around the house. He slept with me. He was truly my friend. When I posted about Biscuit when I found him, everybody loved him. He's was truly a unique cat. I didn't post about what happened to him, because it took me a long time to process. One day, earlier this year, Biscuit got out and was hit by a car. We never found out who did it. I was the one who found him. All I could do was bury him and mourn him. I've been around a lot of animals in my life. I love them, and I'll protect them at all costs. Just days ago in the Argentina vs Algeria game, Messi caught an Algerian player from behind so badly with a brutal tackle. No foul, no booking and not even a second glance from the referee as he waved play to continue. Then fast forward to today, a very similar scenario, except there was very small to almost no contact between the Qatar player and the Canada player who got fouled as he made for goal just before the box as shown in the second footage attached Here the referee instantly stops play and shows the Qatar player a yellow card right away which after a VAR review is even upgraded to a straight red card. FIFA are shamelessly rigging this World Cup again for Argentina to win in broad American daylight!!show more

Yesterday I was moving into a new apartment, and... I had some help from a couple of guys who do moving work. I first noticed something when I went to pick them up at Home Depot. While talking to the older man, he received a call and answered, “Yes, commander, I’ll call you back.” I ignored it at first. Fast forward to when we got home and started loading and moving stuff. Another call came in from the same “commander,” this time on speaker. The moment I heard the voice, I knew something was wrong, and the man didn’t realize it. On the phone, they were asking him for $2,000, saying the girl he was supposed to marry next week was sick and needed money for treatment, even though she’s supposedly a military nurse according to her profile. I signaled him and muted the call. I told him to ask for the commander’s name, and he did. The guy said his name was “Marthin” and then “Martinez” 😂. I took the phone and said something, and the scammer immediately hung up when he heard my accent. A few minutes later, he called again, asking why the man had handed the phone to someone else and claiming it was against their “security rules.” I took the phone again and cursed him out. I told the man to block them, which he did. Then he showed me many more messages he’d been receiving. The man was already far gone into the scam. I’m glad I was able to stop him from being scammed. These people really work hard for their money, really hard. I told him it’s better to get a new phone line.show more

This one hurts me deeply 🥺💔 I'm not sure... where to start but Rachaad White 1️⃣ has been my main favorite player over the years ever since he got drafted by the Bucs. If you didn't know, I'm the biggest Rachaad White fan in the world. One day back in 2023, I was at Bucs Training Camp and I took a vid of Rachaad practicing and tagged him on X. He then commented and said if I needed anything, just reach out to him. So a month later I did and he reached back out to me and I met him at pregame before the Bucs preseason game against the Ravens, it was truly one of the best days of my life. Then a year later, I reached out back to him to see if he could sign my Rachaad jersey and he did, another one of the best days of my life. He's truly a man of his word, a down to earth guy, a great guy on & off the field, and like I always say how can you not love him. By the time I got there, eleven had already been claimed by other officers. The one left was the smallest. Nobody had wanted him. I took him home anyway. Last spring, that dog dragged me 47 feet across the asphalt of a gas station parking lot with three rounds in my vest, and bit a man who was walking up with a handgun to finish what he had started. I'm alive because of the runt of the litter. I'm Officer Brennan Vasiliev. I'm 38 years old. I'm with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office in central Ohio. I've been a deputy for 13 years. I've been in the K9 unit for the last six. I want to tell you about how I ended up with Hero. In April of 2020, our department was rotating two new K9 officers into our existing unit. I had finally moved up the waiting list after four years of trying. I had been a patrol deputy with a clean record, an above-average pistol score, and the kind of dog-handling background — I had grown up on a working farm in southeast Ohio with two working dogs my whole childhood — that made me a reasonable candidate. All twelve had been pre-tested for trainability, drive, nerve, and structure by Petra and our department's training officer over the previous two weeks. Eleven puppies had been picked already by handlers from other departments who had come through over the previous week. When Sergeant Holloway and I arrived, one puppy remained. He was in a small grass-fenced play area by himself. The other puppies of his litter had all been collected and prepared for transport to their new departments. He was alone in the play yard. He was the smallest of the litter. Petra told us he had weighed in at the bottom of the litter every week of his life. He had been the last one to nurse. He had been the last one to walk. He had passed his trainability tests — Petra would not have offered him to a police department if he hadn't — but he had passed them at the bottom of the curve. He was eight weeks old. No need for tears. They gave the reigning champions a run for their money. They didn’t win the Cup or the game but they won the respect of the World. They fielded the oldest team in the tournament, besides the legal problems with Mendes, 9 or more of them will retire before 2030. I'm not saying new talent can't impress, I'm just saying it's unlikely. They maximised the use of foreign born players. So, hopefully they will be back in the world cup again. "Yesterday on our way home, we broke down 2... hours away from home... on a busy interstate with three kids in tow. It wasn't exactly ideal, especially with a hungry newborn. I wouldn't get the baby out of his seat to feed him incase we got smacked by another vehicle on the highway, he was the safest in his seat. We called dispatch and AAA and an Alabama State Trooper showed up to help. I thought he was just going to divert traffic away from our lane, but he did so much more than that. He loaded the kids and I in his car and got us off the highway and to the closest rest stop. Sean stayed with the car to wait for the tow truck. He checked the bathroom for 'boogieman so Madeline could use the restroom. He shot illuminating helicopters in the sky with the kids while I made calls to try to get home. Major got really fussy when I was trying to wrangle my other children and calm them down from the evening's happenings. Without hesitation, he took Major out of his seat and gave him the bottle I had prepared from earlier. It seemed like he does that every day, knew how to hold him and when to burp him. Major even filled his pants during his feeding and the trooper laughed and continued feeding him. He then helped unload all our stuff from our car to his and drove our family to the nearest hotel. It was late, nothing was open, and we couldn't get a rental car until the morning. He helped unload our unruly amount of crap into our hotel room, told us where all the rental car places were, gave the girls a hug, and told us to call if we needed anything.
