Wanted to chime in on this video and shed... some light on what High Performance looks like in game ----- FNS calls Zellsis the most overrated player in Americas. Now to be clear I'm not coming at this butthurt as a friend of Jordan, but rather I don't think people appreciate the magnitude of impact he has on a team and on a series Whether you play ranked or compete at the highest level of this game, your team dynamic is one of the most important aspects of success. You may win without it, and let skill and strategy shine, but it won't be sustainable The things that Jordan does extremely well that need to be highlighted are: - energy - communication - mid-rounding voice - emotional awareness - effort - mental resilience - ability to stay focused when the match matters High Performance is a combination of talent and skills for sure, but more importantly it's: - attitude - behaviours - consistency - mindset - focused attention - awareness of mental intensity - intention to improve - intention to execute As you continue to build your skills in game, be sure to elevate your High Performance skills overall. It starts with awareness, then influence, then consistency! Heck you may even win more and be called overrated, but those you play with will feel your impact! ----- Again, this clip could very well just be bait to stir the pot for hype and content purposes. Respectable, if so! We need more storylines ๐๐ I'd also like to disclose that I have coached Zellsis before and I obviously have bias. I haven't worked with FNS, however I think he's funny, brilliant and would love to connect with himshow more

TRUE Seasonal games, like Path of Exile, Marathon, or... even EFT (we'll see today), are designed in a way for players to engage with the seasonal content and then move on. Between seasons/leagues, I can play a new game, say Elden Ring, or God of War: Ragnarok, enjoy the game, and look at my calendar and know that on May 29th, at 1:00 PM PST, the new PoE league drops and I will LOG IN. And, that time away (whilst playing other titles) makes the return experience that much more enriched. This might be an odd segue, BUT... I still keep seeing posts about "concurrent players abysmally low, dead game," etc. People who are posting this stuff literally have zero IQ. I know it's all rage bait and engagement farm, but, sadly, it pushes a false narrative and poisons and seeds a negative perception that spreads throughout the gaming community; whether it's with EFT, Marathon, Hunt: Showdown, Path of Exile, and other seasonal games. And, I know when these types of posts acquire mass engagement because people come into stream every day asking, "this game isn't dead yet?" Just cuz a game is off season, doesn't mean it's dead lmao. Sucks cuz I know creatives at the studios probably catch wind of these posts and I'm sure it's a bit demoralizing and stuff... Marathon is still getting heat about it's concurrent player count; trust me, if UbiSoft Singapore are still pumping out content for that AAAA game, Skull and Bones, other studios will be just fine. Marathon, Marauders, EFT, Hunt: Showdown, etc., they ain't goin nowhere. GGG didn't necessarily come up with the philosophy, but they doubled down on it; kudos to them for taking the risk, paving the way for other seasonal games. W economy reset. W wipes. W progression resets. Obviously, this isn't for everyone; casual players get left behind, but I'm a gamer, and I need a game to satiate my gaming addiction, Minecraft ain't gonna cut it for me big dog.show more

Some insider info regarding Deadlock PvE. The PvE mode... features 4 game variants and 7 different stages* (*?). Heroes have a progression system and personal Artifacts (currently one of the testing options). โYou kill monsters and get a chest containing an item. In one of the variants, chests drop from bosses. In another, they are rewarded for completing challange (potentially along the lines of: "kill 100 monsters using the 1st skill, get upgrades beneficial for the 1st skill"). Items can stack and be upgraded (similarly to Streetbrawl, but like you'll get 4 items, but each duplicate will affect the damage percentage, radius, etc.) The number of items and possible upgrades is limited. There are also legendary items from Streetbrawl, as well as a new type of item (artifacts) that have a separate inventory slot. โBosses can disable your stamina and items, and affect both you and the monsters in general. The final objectives differ for each mode, but exact descriptions are not available yet. --- โIn reality, this is the exact same thing that happened with StreetBrawl 6 - Valve threw in a wide variety of ideas and is currently testing them. (For those who don't remember, there were initially many different rumors about how StreetBrawl worked, but the final 4v4 system, random items, and round-based combat remained). Information from an anonymous source who previously discussed the mod-split in the Ranked update and the item changes in the Minor Update (prior to the Ranked update)show more

Bryson DeChambeauโs next event after LIV Golf Andalucia is... the US Open, where heโll attempt to win his 3rd gold medal. He spoke to Flushing It Golf at Valderrama about his preparation ahead of Shinnecock Hills and whether he feels any pressure after missing the last 2 cuts in majors: โWell, Valderrama is a ball striker's golf course. So you have to control your golf ball and hit the right shots under the gun with a lot of wind out here. It really is a great ball strikers paradise. The same as, you know, in the US Open. I think this is a great test.โ Bryson shot rounds of 70, 71, 71 and 70 to finish T11 at Valderrama. Does he feel any pressure to perform after missing the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship? โNo. To be honest, missed cuts are gonna happen. I might miss all 4 of them in majors this year. That's just golf. Like, Iโm playing great. I just haven't shown up when it mattered most. But I've played well out here on LIV, and Iโm working on my golf swing really hard, and, I feel like it's in a really solid place. It's very close to some of my best golf ever. โLast week (in Korea) I had a great opportunity to win for the third time this year and didn't close the door. And that's just more learning, you know, if I had a little bit more knowledge of what to do in the golf swing, to get the ball to go straight in a few scenarios. I could have taken that championship down too. โSo, I feel like I'm actually playing the most consistent I've ever played on LIV, which is great. And I think it's attributed to the switch to four rounds. No question.โ Bryson says heโs going to head to Shinnecock early to get some extended work in and thinks it will be a huge benefit after not playing the course since the 2018 US Open. If he were to win it, he would join Tiger Woods and Hale Irwin as the only players to win 3 gold medals. It would also put him just 1 championship shy of equalling the all time US Open winners record of 4, held by Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and Willie Anderson. So, as heโs a great student of golf history, does he ever think about it? โI'm very blessed to have done what I've done so far. But I'm still trying to pursue as many wins as I can, and, with the time and opportunity, Iโd love to have a chance to win some more.โ Bryson DeChambeau Crushers GC LIV Golf U.S. Openshow more

Officially moving on from Tech game after I get... this thought off my chest. I more than welcome anyone smarter than me in regards to the football to chime in. I truly, truly, truly cannot wrap my head around the thought process here. These two plays I'm sure anyone with brain can agree officially sealed KU's slim chances in having a chance to win this game. The play calling to me seems like completely flipped in logic at best? First one, you are down 4, on your own 30 so you are not going to go for this. Ignoring that we were getting dominated in the trenches in this game and that the 'obvious' play is a run, I don't get why we make the decision in a must get spot to take the ball out of our QB's (who at the time was rolling) hands. Jalon Daniels is our best player. In an absolute must get/need, we should be relying on him to make a play. Then the second one. I obviously don't know the answer here, but I feel somewhat confident that the reason we didn't run here was because of how the earlier 3rd & 1 run went. While I don't necessarily agree with the premise of decision making on this alone, I can appreciate the recognition that we are going to struggle to gain a yard in an obvious run situation. But the thing is, we are in go for it range so the one thing you absolutely cannot have is a massive negative play. Literally anything else is okay (obviously not a turnover). I truly don't think there's a good chance we run the ball on this attempt and get a yard. But THIS situation gives you a free shot at it if you want to take it. I think this play call would have worked if we didn't let their best player run at our qb freely but I'd just argue this play had a ton of potential risk that wasn't necessary. Hell even a play action pass out of out shot gun or something rolling JD out to the left would have given us a good shot at first down with an escape route to bail out on the play if something went wrong. I'm once again for the millionth time saying I know and understand that this entire staff knows more about football in their pinky than I do. But I do think the game has evolved and game + clock management doesn't really require football knowledge/have a direct correlation to one's football knowledge. It's not as simple as ESPN's graphic says GO so you should go etc, there are variables and human behavior etc to deal with and I understand that. But we are just getting these situations downright wrong. We are flipping a coin that has a 20 pound weight attached to the heads side and calling tails almost every single time. S/O anyone who read all this but would just love some insight if there's anyone who disagrees and is a lot smarter than I!show more

23 year old David Puig is having another great... season, finishing inside the points in every event on the LIV Golf League to be 10th on the Standings and finishing T11 or better in all 3 DP World Tour starts. Heโs been a model of consistency but is without a win and he says itโs something heโs looking forward to the challenge of trying to overcome: โIโve been having a really good season and playing very consistent. I think Iโve been doing well in every part of the game if you look at my strokes gained. Lots of birdies, some eagles, but too many mistakes to be winning events and itโs something Iโm really looking forward to, the challenge of minimising the mistakes and trying to get it done this year. โThereโs times where Iโve made the right decision, it was just poorly executed and a few unlucky breaks here and there that stopped me from winning. But Iโm looking forward to the challenge and really happy with how Iโve been playing.โ David is an electric player to watch who is not scared to take on tough shots and can get hot at any time running off strings of birdies. His speed is his biggest asset but itโs something he says he needs to learn how to utilise: โI might be a little different than the average player. I hit the ball pretty far and that makes it a bit more challenging when Iโm out of position in the rough. Weโve caught a couple of fliers where the ball reacts different than expected out of the different lies and that makes it more challenging. But Iโve just got to learn from those mistakes and keep getting better. โMy game is getting into good shape. Iโm positive with the way Iโve been working on and off the course to get to that point that I can get the win. Iโm excited for it and Iโm learning. I just need to keep the mistakes off the card.โ David is playing this week at LIV Golf UK by JCB and itโs a course which he says he enjoys. He also played well here last season coming T11. Notes from todayโs #Bengals practice: - Overall, another winning... day for the defense, but not as conclusive as recent practices - Cashius Howell popped in a big way on a couple rushes off the edge against Orlando Brown using both speed and power. Also blew by Andrew Coker for a would-be sack. Probably his best practice to date. Hit some, but still off at times, working to get their connection down (nobody should be worried about this). - Ugly drop by Andrei Iosivas to close practice on a crosser. A lot to like about where Iosivas is at, but he just has to eliminate those moments from his game or heโll be watching Colbie Young before long. - Offense had been very good operationally this camp, but a delay of game and false start showed up today. -Dax Hill still limited, DJ Ivey and DJ Turner both with PBUs. ๐ฝ๏ธ Jalen Davis with a nice play on third down with a PBU -Colbie Young had a drop, but also the recipient of one of Burrowโs best balls of the day running a seam between Knight at Battle.show more

Comprehensive Guide to Maximize Your Points in the Mode... Airdrop: Strategies and Tips ๐ก Mode's airdrop is available, but earning points is not just about volume. Here's what really matters when it comes to increasing your points: Precheck: โข Past activity, NFT holdings, and participation in Mode campaigns get you points. (Testnet participants, early NFT holders, and Degen Score Beacon holders) TVL: โข Bridge your assets to Mode and keep them there for maximum points. The longer, the better! โข Fees generated matter more than just volume, so avoid botting. Referrals: โข Can't bring big TVL? Refer others who do! You earn 16% of their points (TVL & fees). Example: Refer someone who generates 10,000 points, you get 1,600. Quests & Ecosystem: โข Complete on-chain quests and use approved dapps for points. More dapps coming soon! โข Provide liquidity to approved partners and earn double the points for TVL. Bonus Points: โข Get a Mode NS name for points and future ecosystem benefits. โข Keep an eye out for partner airdrops (separate from Mode points). How not to earn points โข Volume doesn't matter. Focus on fees generated. โข Buying Mode NFTs now won't get you points. Venezuela's experience with hyperinflation is a real eye-opener on... how quickly things can go south when inflation gets out of hand. It's like watching your money turn into nothing right before your eyes, which is exactly what happened with the bolรญvar. Here's what other countries might take away from this: First off, don't put all your economic eggs in one basket. Venezuela leaned too heavily on oil, and when oil prices tanked, so did their economy. Countries should mix it up, invest in different industries so they're not riding the wave of just one commodity or sector. Then there's the money printing story. If you just keep printing money to cover your debts or fund your government, you're asking for trouble. It's like trying to fill a bathtub with the plug out โ the water (or money, in this case) just keeps disappearing, and that's inflation for you. Also, having a central bank that can do its job without politicians breathing down its neck can make a big difference. It's about keeping the economy in check without the panic of election cycles or political whims. And let's not forget good governance. Venezuela's economic crisis was made worse by corruption and mismanagement. If those in power aren't playing by the rules, the whole economy suffers. It's like building a house with rotten wood; it might look okay at first, but it won't last. The social fallout from this crisis shows us that when the economy crashes, it's not just about numbers. People's lives are turned upside down โ they can't afford food or medicine. Countries need to have safety nets in place, like strong social programs, to catch folks when they fall. Lastly, using dollars instead of bolรญvares in Venezuela tells us that while pegging your currency to a stable one like the dollar can calm things down quickly, it's a double-edged sword. You might stabilize, but you also give up control over your own money game, which can be risky down the line. So, Venezuela's story is a wake-up call: diversify your economy, manage your money wisely, keep politics out of your central bank, ensure your leaders are playing fair, and always remember that behind every economic decision, there are real people whose lives are affected.show more

๐๏ธ Bali's trash burning problem has just reached new... toxic heights This week, Bali's biggest landfill has been ordered to close. The landfill is a more than 35 meter high mountain of decaying trash covering 32 hectares. It's closed because the gases emanated from it are toxic and ground water is being contaminated This means there's no other landfill of this size near to accept Bali's current trash. So the government has instructed people that "household waste should be disposed of at home" which in Bali means burning it! Trash burning has been a tradition for centuries in Bali (and Indonesia), but it used be mostly organic matter that was being burned Once plastic arrived the tradition didn't change though and locals started burning plastic too, pumping toxic gases into the air causing massive spikes of lung cancer and other respiratory diseases The tradition means on a daily basis around 7 in the morning and 6 in the evening, your neighbours will be burning their trash, and if you're not lucky there's a construction site near which will burn even more but all day! Burning plastic means you emit dioxins and furans, some of the most potent human carcinogens that exist I have friends in Indonesia with family with lung cancer cases, it's a real thing. My fear with Bali has always been that the digital nomads there might not realize the slow danger creeping up on them. You get used to the trash burning and polluted air very quickly in Bali and it probably doesn't affect you over a year or so But if you're there for many years, it will in some way or the other! For a community that's so about fitness and health, air quality is weirdly a consideration mostly overlooked in Balishow more

Bryson DeChambeau hasnโt played since the Ryder Cup and... he wonโt be again until LIV Golf Riyadh in February. He says heโs been speed training through the off season though and has a target of reaching a comfortable 200mph ball speed. Heโs also been playing table tennis with Americaโs number 1, Kanak Jha. Speaking to Tom Hobbs from Flushing It Golf, Bryson said: โIโm not playing until Riyadh. Iโm going to be going in hot though. Iโm sneaky working on my game really hard. โI'm going to start ramping up my speed again. I ramped up my speed in November, got it to where I was pumping over 190 quite efficiently with some slow golf balls and stuff. I got to 200 quite a bit. โI havenโt done much recently though. I was playing some ping pong actually the past couple of days with the number one USA player, Kanak Jha. He's so much fun. Ping Pong is my favourite sport, so I got to learn a little bit from the best in the U.S. Heโs twenty first in the world. So nobody's really gotten that high from the U.S. which is sweet. โBut I'll get back to speed training right after Christmas and going into the new season, I want to be close to 200. So that's my goal. Iโll just get to a place where Iโm super comfortable swinging fast.โ The last time Bryson went after speed he gained an enormous amount of mass. Heโs come back down through the weights though over the last few seasons and is much healthier for it. But, if Force = Mass x Acceleration, will he look to add more mass again and whatโs more important, increasing acceleration or gaining mass? โThey're both very important. If you don't have any mass, you can't accelerate it. It's a symbiotic relationship. It's actually more like F equals M V squared, thatโs more of the velocity side of it. โYou can accelerate too, but what I would say is the most important thing is it's not necessarily the mass or the acceleration, itโs the ability to put pressure onto the club. So you're able to apply pressure and control that through your grip strengths around a circle, that's probably the more important piece. Applying controlled pressure to the golf club like grip pressure. โIt's not that you just accelerate the club, because you have to learn how to control the face through that motion as well. So it's all, you know, you can say it's acceleration, but it's a lot of grip pressure stuff. The more you control the grip pressure and how you're moving that grip, I would say thatโs more the answer to your question. โAnd I guess at a certain point thereโs dimishning return with, you know, going up in the mass and even down in the mass. There is a sweet spot for swinging a golf club. If you get a speedstick, there's just not enough mass behind it to create the smash factor necessary, and vice versa if it is too heavy, you canโt swing it that fast. โI'll always say swinging and accelerating the club is probably the most important, but the real answer is applying the most pressure to the golf club. The grip pressure. Youโre not gripping it tighter, but your hand force into it pulling it and then throwing it around the corner.โ Continues in comments thread below.
