My dear friends, it is with great pleasure that Harvey, Rascal, and myself (with the ever present support of Summers Ridge Outdoors , of course) bring you our first BIG COZY CONTEST! My most beloved season is Autumn, then Winter, Spring, & Summer. In that order. SO, when Ken suggested to our venerable X wholesome poster, Ryan B. Anderson , that he sweeten up one of our giveaways, and the good man buzzed at the opportunity, deciding to offer up a Humming Meadow mug, I got excited and decided to try and rope in a bunch of wholesome Americana to help us get through this last bit of summer heat and look towards autumn. With great generosity of spirit we, all of us, considered breaking the prizes up and, perhaps, next time, we will. However, they all compliment each other so very well that I simply cannot do it. THERE WILL BE ONE WINNER OF THIS GRAND HONEY POT!🍯 If I were to tag each of our wonderful participants in this post X would see to it that this post got very little algorithmic traction. Well.. I found The Rascal. Straight Chillin'. Goober sat there enjoying his music, for a long while. I just stood there, pretended to be unimpressed with what he had done to the library, and waited for his dramatic pause to conclude. After a while he just grinned and handed me this Canik Prime Radian in 9mm and grey finish. "They'll dig this", is all he said. I left him vibing and got right to posting. Found Rascal out back passed out next to the picnic table. I was worried he'd been into the sauce again. Turns out he had but thankfully this time it wasn't the full on hard stuff, just that tasty Half A Pond Kentucky Rebel Scum sauce! We have a few more summer days left and a few more bbq's left to enjoy! There is so much that could be said about this week's giveaway. I will simply hit the main points: A man, Jordan Salinas, who seems to dig Splinter Cell went from live action role play to live action and likely saved many lives in Twin Falls, Idaho at the In-N-Out Burger® in doing so. No. Rascal did not meet the man. However, Rascal thought he was tops. One of the few truly good ones, if you will. I told him it might be in poor taste. I don't want to make too big a deal about this, (would rather just pretend nothing ever happened), but I have to say RASCAL is back to his old self and we are all feelin' good about it. I think spending a little time with his cousin, Jimothy, and getting some mountain time in was just the ticket. These two have a goofy sense of humor sometimes so when Rascal radioed in to say this week's contribution to the 2A community would be a NUBSUB in honor of is little squished cousin, I was not surprised, lol. My friends. I am really, very nearly, at a loss for words and I know you all know how rare that is. It is with great concern and, dare I say, support, that Rascal has announced that he.. I mean er.. she.. will be finally fulfilling hi.. her dreams of pursuing a career in the WNBA. He. er.. She was inspired, evidently, by the recent stunning and brace announcement from Royce White 🇺🇸 who is one of the more recent folx to stand up for the oppressed across, not just the WNBA, but the world. As I am sure you all know it is dangerous for ladies sometimes after late nights of practice. While Rascal dreams of making the cut with the Indiana Fever, we don't all have Sophie Cunningham watching our backs. So for those walks from the court to the car which can be downright deadly, even for women who are 6'2" and have a BMI of 25.3 and shocking upper body strength compared to hi... her teammates, we have something for you. Sorry friends, crazy couple of days. The Rascal apparently was called into some super secret meeting about how/if/when aliens become a problem! Question presented was about firepower and what we should have on hand. Word is many suggestions were bandied about but everyone gave a unanimous "Heck yeah dad gummit!" when Rascal suggested a Benelli M4 12ga must be part of the arsenal. Rascal would neither confirm nor deny that Tim Burchett was there but I gotta feeling... We have a whole gun store packed full of guns. No clue why The Rascal can't just scurry to the back and pick something out, oh no, Rascal has to traverse time and dimensions and risk tail and hide for the guns he brings you good folk. The story Rascal was spinnin' is so wild that I only half listened. Something about portals and time jumps, or was it dimension jumps, heck I dunno. Regardless. Rascal was talking to the fine folks over at Summers Ridge Outdoors and the two started debating 1911s and how they won 11 World Wars and what not and next thing we know he's conjured up a situation with Washingtons ghost George Washington's Ghost. The way Rascal tells it he asked the old patriot what his favorite gun was. George says, "That is a heavy question indeed. I will refrain from painting myself into a corner. Our friend, The Rascal , was so pleased when that beloved big horn sheep decided to take a short leave from Brownells, Inc. in Iowa and come have some porch time here in Appalachia! They got to jawin', of course, as big horn sheep and rascally raccoons are want to do, and began waxing about how much fun the old standbys can be. I can see why The Rascal was so excited to get this week's giveaway announcement posted! In line with the current administration's policy of transparency, and the release of the "UFO" and "UAP" files, Rascal gave me a few vague pointers of where to look and that I might find something interesting. While he will not elaborate on the details I do have, in my possession, this very fascinating old file photograph of Rascal standing with the venerable SGM Mike Vining @ Blasting Through Official . Rascal will not say whether this has anything to do with aliens of the extra-terrestrial variety or what it is doing mixed in with all these other seemingly unrelated files. Rascal has been on the trail as of late. He radioed in just now that he recently broke the tree line only to find that infamous nature photographer and debonair man of adventure XANDER GEOGRAPHIC 🏕️ ! Rascal gave a few pointers and wished him good luck finding those last three elusive Floridian quarry! I am sure we can expect to see those three captured in frame before the adventure ends.
