Your story, your values, your genetics, all the things that make you unique, don’t get carried forward. Having kids is a bet on the future. It’s like saying, I think tomorrow is worth investing in. But when you choose not to, you’re opting out of the future you could’ve helped shape. Turned 24 today by completing an epic 1300km journey... on a motorcycle riding across ladakh. All I can say is - if you’re in your 20s, just pack that bag every few months and go on epic adventures you wouldn’t be able to when you grow old my man. got approached by so many uncles in their 40s and 50s looking at the bike with fascination. the teenage boy in them was excited to see the motorcycle, they were doing the same route, just with a car and a driver and a family they had to look after the entire time. you could sense the longing for something like this in their eyes and their voice. you will never have less responsibilities and more time in the future. actively and consciously shape the life you wanna live. go on more adventures. go take more risks. go solo if you don’t have friends who can come with you. go live a life ur actively proud off despite the burden of responsibilities on your head. go be the guy who does it all - fails most of the time, but tried anyways. go win. Sharing some more UI previews for Superlogical, this time... the "tab peek." If you three-finger swipe down, you can "peek" at the other session tabs. These are live-updating, metal-rendered previews including splits. If you keep dragging, you enter a "mission control" style mode. This is one of those UI patterns that once you get used to, you mindlessly find yourself doing it ALL THE TIME. It's a great way to quickly take a look at everything thats going on. You aren't reading the mini text of course, but the shape of it tells you a lot about where things are. The peek pushes the terminal down off screen, it doesn't resize it, so it doesn't force any weird reflow or anything either. There's a lot more to talk about, especially about how this interacts with how we expose what needs attention so you can easily find the terminals/sessions/etc. that require your attention. Of course, you'll be able to drive this with the keyboard too. :) As always, a disclaimer: this is all early work subject to change, just trying to share some of what we're building in public. I was informed that the team will be seeking... a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA. Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember. This weekend I had the opportunity to attend the... very first Prop Firm Expo by Prop Firm Match What an incredible event. Yes, it was crowded. Yes, it was hot. And yes, the lines were long. But if anything, that was a testament to just how popular prop trading has become in London, far beyond what many of us expected. It was amazing to see an online community come together in person. Traders had the chance to meet the founders and leaders of some of the biggest prop firms, connect with the streamers and educators they watch every day, and exchange ideas with fellow traders from around the world. It was a great opportunity to learn, network, and pick up new ideas to improve their trading. Having attended trading events around the world for more than two decades, I can honestly say the energy and enthusiasm of the prop community is unmatched. Thank you to Prop Firm Match for inviting me to be a part of it. I’m already looking forward to next year. I have no doubt the venue will need to be even bigger. The time has finally come for me to watch... this biggest little film of ours fly out of our hands and into the world. To Chris Sanders, working on this story with you has been a dream come true. I will never forget how my stunned little heart felt the day you and Jeff offered me Head of Story. It has been one of the great thrills of my life to shape this story with you. Thank you. To my story team! Thank you. You, along with our amazing production team lead by Jeff, Heather, Stephanie and our powerhouse edit team lead by Mary, are all brilliant and I loved every minute of finding and crafting this story with you. I was in the middle of boarding The Egg Hatches scene, when I got the news that my mom had unexpectedly passed away from a complication during surgery. And part of me feels like there is some beautiful symbolism there that right when I lost her, this thing was being born for me to help me deal with her loss. As story artists, we have to live in the scenes that we work on for hours each day. And this film (from peter brown! ‘s beautiful book) gave me a place to live. In scenes and a story that could honor my mom, and all mothers. And that is just a gift that I can never repay any of you for. I still ask myself sometimes, how did I get so lucky that they offered this to me? But I’m so glad they did because I think I needed this project even more than it needed me. On one of my last days in London watching the record of Kris Bowers’ beautiful score, sitting in the converted church that is Air Studios, I could somehow feel my mom speaking to me through the words of the lovely choir: I’m gonna live forever in you, long as the sky and oceans are blue, I’ll always love you and I’ll never stop. I’ll always be there even when I’m not.” And everything came full circle. I miss you Mom. I hope that this film will always stand as a love letter to all moms. As it was the place I put all of my unexpressed love for you.
