🚨 Stones pelted at a moving train, injuring senior assistant loco pilot. A serious incident has occurred in #AndhraPradesh involving train number 12616, traveling from New #Delhi to #Chennai. According to reports, some unidentified miscreants threw heavy objects from outside at the engine (loco) while the train was passing through the Singarayakonda area. The on-duty senior assistant loco pilot, Mr. M. Jayaram, was seriously injured. Immediately after the incident, the train was stopped at the nearest UPD station and the injured railway employee was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his condition is currently stable and he is undergoing treatment. Railway officials have taken the incident seriously and have initiated an investigation. There are calls for identifying the culprits and taking strict action against them. Stone pelting or any other form of vandalism at moving trains is not only illegal but also endangers the lives of passengers and railway employees.
