While the phase 2 of #BengalElection2026 is on across 142 seats - courtesy #MamataBanerjee & #SuvenduAdhikari - the focus has stayed mostly on #Bhawanipur This is what happened between 8.40 and 10.25 am this morning Mamata Banerjee was on the go. As we learnt that she was there at Chakraberia TMC election office - media rushed. We went and saw she seated along with one tmc councillor and her security were around her. We stood little away from the shade under which MB was seated. She told us to disburse but we being we - media stayed. Media insisted and she agreed to respond to our questions briefly. And then she walked inside the house of the councillor Asim Bose. The time was 9.05am By 9.20 we saw central forces arrive there, all charged - as if looking for someone. Media was pushed and no complains 9.25 came Suvendu Adhikari with his Secutity and the battery of media that was tailing him. So suddenly media number doubled up- 2/3 units of big channels. So previously there were 30 media people, that became 60 suddenly. Plain sight - we were the bigger crowd there. Suvendu Adhikari roamed around the flat where Mamata Banerjee had gone inside. He said there are attempts to loot vote there. But interestingly at that very spot there was no booth. He later roamed and got into a building which was exactly 80 steps away from where Mamata Banerjee was. He stayed there for 20 mins, later left the spot 10.05am Mamata Banerjee left the flat at 10.25 am In between - the central forces who had arrived - they had taken position to camp. I asked them what’s the matter, one officer said “we were told to camp outside this tmc party office … that there are miscreants here”. Wonder who are the miscreants? And who gave them this tip? Yes we heard Suvendu Adhikari ask the central forces - where’s your camp? Not sure what that meant.

#BREAKING : #MamataBanerjee makes big charge, claims #BJP has sent an agency named Association for Billion Minds to #Bengal and they are swapping Bengal voters with voters of Haryana, Gujarat, Punjab and Bihar. She claims ahead of #BengalElection2026 the agency is uploading voter data online, replacing Bengal voters' names with those from other states while keeping the EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card) number the same. She claims this is part of a larger plan to bring in out-of-state voters to influence the election outcomes in Bengal, leaving the original voters bereft of their democratic exercise. Mamata Banerjee alleges that #BJP had used the same modus for #Delhi & #Maharashtra elections.
