Our #BlueSoup isolate is catalase positive! I compared a known positive cell line E. coli NEB Turbo vs our BS1-A isolate. Few drops of drug store H2O2 3% and watch for fizz. Catalase converts H2O2 into H2O + oxygen gas. Another clue as to the ID of this critter. Fun times!
