He was briefed on the prevailing security situation and assessed the operational preparedness of formations in the Eastern Theatre. During the visit, the COAS witnessed the latest technology absorption initiatives and indigenous innovations and interacted with troops, commended them for their professionalism, operational commitment and unwavering dedication. The #COAS also called on the Hon'ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Lok Bhavan and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri Yumnam K. Singh, where matters pertaining to security and development in the State were discussed.
