Major General Rohan Medagoda, GOC 11 Division & Brigadier CD Wikramanayaka, Field Chief Engineer of Sri Lankan Army visited the bridge site, commending the efforts of troops for their assistance to Sri Lanka & the jointmanship displayed by Indian Army Engineers and Sri Lankan Road Development Authority in undertaking this challenging task of bridging. Simultaneously, the Engineer Task Force is also assisting the Sri Lankan Road Development Authorities for undertaking preparatory works for launch of Hybrid Bailey bridge at Chilaw, 60 km North of Colombo.
