#Train के पायलट से ये बहस करना कि तुम "Wrong Side" में चल रहे हो–– पूरी दुनिया में यह सिर्फ और सिर्फ हमारे देश में ही मुमकिन है... #Darjeeling Himalayan Railway की #Toy_Train अपनी दशकों पुरानी फिक्स्ड लेन पर जा रही थी. रेलवे ट्रैक से बिल्कुल सटा कर संकरे रास्ते पर अतिक्रमण करके पार्क की गई महिंद्रा एसयूवी की वजह से से ट्रेन फंस गई. बजाय अपनी गलती मान कर कार हटा लेने के, एसयूवी का ड्राइवर लोको पायलट से ही भिड़ गया कि तुम ही रॉन्ग साइड चल रहे हो... फिक्स्ड स्टील ट्रैक पर चलने वाली ट्रेन के ड्राइवर से यह बहस करना कि वह "गलत साइड" पर है 🤔 इसके लिए एक अलग ही स्तर के आत्मविश्वास की ज़रूरत होती है...

Today in Parliament, I highlighted the urgent need to preserve the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of the #Darjeeling hills for over 140 years. Facing landslides, shrinking corridors and ageing infrastructure, it requires focused conservation. I urged the Government to take steps to protect and restore this living heritage so it continues to serve the people and tourism.
