A matter of pride & honour for all personnel of #IndianNavy, as Hon’ble Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, after assuming charge for the 2nd consecutive term made his maiden outstation visit to #EasternNavalCommand, Visakhapatnam & reviewed #IndianNavy’s operational readiness along the Eastern Seaboard. Embarked onboard #INSJalashwa, the RM interacted with the men & women of the The Eastern Sword & praised their contribution towards ensuring India’s #MaritimeSecurity, as well as the #IndianNavy’s strong presence in the Indian Ocean Region #IOR. Underlining the fact that India’s commercial interests are linked with the #IOR, the RM emphasised on being focussed on further strengthening #maritimesecurity & making the presence of #India’s naval power in IOR more effective & robust.
